USZ Zionist Puppet President Barack Obama has asked Congress to increase the country's debt limit by another 1.2 trillion dollars amid a worsening debt crisis. The chief executive presented the Senate and the House of Representatives with the request in a formal written letter on Thursday. If the request is approved, the limit to the USZ borrowing, heavily inflated by the USZ-led wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, will be raised to about $16.4 trillion. As the country was teetering on the verge of a default, Congress agreed on July 31, 2011 to immediately raise the cap on the national debt by $400 billion. It also acquiesced to continuously raising the limit in subsequent stages if need be.

Obama's request can only be turned down if it is rejected in both chambers.  Analysts say the request is unlikely to be rejected. It is, however, expected to occasion some election-year political rhetoric in Congress among Republicans, who blame Obama for running up the debt. "Washington's mounting debt is a drag on our economic recovery”, said Brendan Buck, spokesman for House Speaker John Boehner, adding that “this request is another reminder that the President has consistently punted on the tough choices needed to rein in the deficit and protect important programs for American seniors from going bankrupt."
