Anti-Terrorism court directs attachment of M(B)usharraf's property

Print Friendly and PDF

An Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) on Saturday issued directives for attachment of the property of Former American Stooge President General (Retd) Pervaiz M(B)usharraf in Benazir Bhutto’s assassination case for continuous absence from the court proceeding. Earlier, the same court had declared the former military ruler as absconder in the same case. On Friday Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) submitted final report containing details of Musharraf’s property. The FIA has pleaded the court to issue instructions for attachment of General Musharraf’s property.

It should be noticed here that UK's government has continuously been declining Pakistan's requests to hand over M(B)usharraf to Pakistan so that he can be tried at court but UK's Zionist regime is not ready to give up on their loyal puppet. M(B)usharraf's own political party is already on the verge of collapse having all its major pillars already resigned from their posts.

6 more killed in Karachi amid traitor regime's hollow statements

Print Friendly and PDF

The death game continues in Karachi despite the tall claims of the government. More dead bodies were brought to different hospitals on Tuesday. A seriously injured youth was found stuffed in a sack in Lyari. His body was thrown after kidnappers thought he was dead. He was shifted to Civil Hospital. One dead body stuffed in a gunny bag was found in Qasba Colony. The victim’s mouth was gagged. Another corpse was recovered from Gharibabad. The victim, identified as Sheikh Faisal, was a street vendor. The 22-year-old Faisal was kidnapped after Iftar on Monday.

Two bodies stuffed in sacks were found dumped on the street in Bakra Piri and Dhobhi Ghat in Lyari. Another two men were shot and killed in Old Sabzi Mandi and Shah Latif Town. After a day of mourning, shops, markets and petrol pumps of the city opened in the late evening. Due to the mourning day by the MQM, the city remained deserted and without routine activities. The traders’ community announced earlier that the markets will be opened after 5pm.

Treason, Disqualification: LHC moved against stooge PM Gillani

Print Friendly and PDF

The Lahore High Court
Justice Umar Atta Bandial of the Lahore High Court Thursday admitted to regular hearing a petition seeking disqualifications of Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani for allegedly subverting the Constitution by way of not implementing the judicial decisions. The court also issued notice to the Attorney General of Pakistan and the federal government on the petition. The petitioner has also sought a sedition case against the PM. The petitioner contended that the PM was not following the court orders right from the case of NRO. Hence, he (PM) was making breach of the oath he had taken to uphold the Constitution.

The Bench admitted the petition to regular hearing after Advocate A K Dogar had made preliminary submissions on behalf of petitioner Advocate Allah Buksh Gondal. Following a court direction, the petitioner had previously amended the plea to the affect of challenging Article 6(3) of the Constitution, which relates to the high treason action while allowing only the federal government to initiate a reference for this purpose. The petitioner prays to make this provision more open to let others also initiate a reference to seek high treason action against a person. Notice has also been issued on the amended petition for September 8 next when main case will also come up for further proceedings. The petitioner contends that the Prime Minister as chief executive is under oath to protect the Constitution and the organs functioning under it. Advocate Dogar argued that it was paramount duty of the PM to get the Supreme Court decision implemented and if he fails to fulfill that obligation, he in fact is committing a gross violation of the Constitution.
In the petition, it has been stated that the Executive had dragged its feet on the implementation of a number of judicial orders among them, including one seeking writing a letter to the Swiss authorities for reopening cases against President Asif Ali Zardari and another which had restrained use of the presidency for political purposes, but no regard was paid to the implementation of the same. He further contends that officers were appointed to departments which were party before the Court, with an aim to cover the court decisions and thwart their execution. The petitioner accused the PM of accepting dictations from the President instead of following the constitutional requirements, which he adds, amounts to a gesture on his part to undermine the Constitution and commit its breach. The petitioner has prayed to declaring the Prime Minister disqualified.

LHC moved against Anti-Pakistan "New Provinces" Conspiracy

Print Friendly and PDF

LAHORE: The Lahore High Court accepted on Tuesday an application submitted by a local lawyer who is seeking to prevent the government from creating new provinces. While admitting the petition for hearing in the second week of September, the court sought a reply from the Attorney General of Pakistan and the Punjab Advocate General.

The petitioner pleaded that the constitution did not allow the formation of new provinces, adding that new legislation was required to legitimise the action. He said the formation of new provinces was a conspiracy against Pakistan, adding that such a move would weaken the country.

The application further states that the issue of new provinces is being exploited by politicians to hide the problems, facing the country. The Pakistan Peoples Party and Pakistan Muslim League (Quaid) are in favour of a new province and have been debating the issue in the Punjab Assembly. Earlier this week, in a surprising move that appears to contradict his party’s policies, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif said he supports the creation of both a Bahawalpur and a Seraiki province in southern Punjab.

Patriots blast Nawaz (not so) Shareef's pro-India & Anti-Pakistan statements

Print Friendly and PDF

LAHORE - One of the leading workers of the historic Pakistan Movement, Pakistan's Daily The Nation's Editor-in-Chief and Nazria Pakistan Trust (NPT) Chairman Majid Nizami has condemned the statement of PML-N leader Nawaz (not so) Sharif wherein he has termed the gods and culture of Indians the same as that of Pakistanis. He said Pakistan was achieved on the basis of Two-Nations Theory and questioned how the culture of two nations could be the same. We worship one God and Indians believe in idols and their gods have five heads”. he added.

He was addressing a ceremony held in connection with 65th Independence Day of Pakistan at NPT on Sunday. The ceremony was also addressed by NPT Vice Chairman Dr Rafique Ahmad, grandson of Allama Muhammad Iqbal Walid Iqbal, Col (r) Amjad Hussain, and activists of Pakistan Movement. Mr Nizami in his address said that by issuing such statement, Nawaz has achieved nothing but only damaged his vote bank and it was very surprising for him (Nizami). He said that if Nawaz had such soft corner for Hindus he should shift his Jati Umrah residence to Amritsar and then he would be in better position to differentiate the Jati Umrah of Raiwind and Amritsar. He said Nawaz also mentioned line between the two countries, Mr Nizami questioned the PML-N leader whether he wanted to remove this division line. He said Nawaz was dreaming of being alternate leader of Pakistan and after issuance of such statement, one can pray for him that may Almighty Allah grant him wisdom.

Nizami said that once he was invited by Khawaja Saad Rafique to attend PML-N function where leaguers chanted slogans Quaid-e-Azam Saani Mian Nawaz Sharif. I was also asked to speak on the occasion. I said in my speech that Nawaz first joined Tehreek-e-Istaqlal Party and now PML-N was his second Party, what to say of Quaid-e-Azam Saani. May Allah make Nawaz true follower of Quaid-e-Azam. Earlier Dr Rafique Ahmad in his welcome address said that Majid Nizami was less recognised in the different circles due to Nawa-i-Waqt and more recognition was due to his role in promotion of objectives of Pakistan Movement. He led all his life confronting with dictators and never compromised on democracy in the country, he added. He said that after a successful completion of Aiwan-e-Iqbal, now Majid Nizami was struggling for the construction of Aiwan-e-Quaid-e-Azam. Ground-breaking ceremony of this Aiwan would be held on coming Friday. It would be a state-of-art centre with best facilities of education, research, and training.

Col (r) Amjad Hussain also paid rich tributes to Hameed Nizami and lauded the services of Majid Nizami rendered for the promotion of democracy in the country. He said Majid Nizami is a brave man who despite passing through three bypass operations was struggling for the promotion of Two-Nations Theory. Waleed Iqbal in his address said, we should promote the concepts of Quaid-e-Azam and also treat well minorities in our country. Activists of Pakistan Movement were also present on this occasion including Col (r) Ikran Ullah, Muhammad Yousaf Ghazi, Ghulam Jaffar Salaar and others. They were garlanded and also asked to share their experiences with the audience.

Supreme Court gives govt ‘last 24 hours’

Print Friendly and PDF

ISLAMABAD – Declining prime minister’s request for more time to submit reply in reinstatement of Sohail Ahmad as Secretary Establishment, the Supreme Court on Thursday directed the attorney general to present PM’s written reaction on the matter today (Friday). As a six-member bench of the apex court headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry resumed hearing of the suo motu case regarding corruption in Haj arrangements in 2010, Attorney General Maulvi Anwarul Haq told the court that the prime minister has been apprised of all the details of the case. He also prayed for more time until Monday for the restoration of establishment secretary. The CJP said that much time could not be given and ordered to submit the answer by today (Friday).

Sohail Ahmed had been made an OSD (officer on special duty) by the government on Tuesday, about two hours after he submitted to the Supreme Court a notification transferring Hussain Asghar, the IG of Gilgit-Baltistan, back to the FIA in the face of a stern court warning of immediate action against him on contempt of court charge for not complying with its orders. Irritated by the demotion of the top bureaucrat for obeying its orders, the court on Wednesday directed the attorney general to personally convey to Prime Minister Gilani the court’s feelings and explain constitutional implications of a deviation from the court’s orders.

During the proceedings, the AGP informed the bench that he met the PM and explained to him the contents of the court’s July 27 order as well as the intrinsic constitutional and other legal provisions. He told the court that the PM has asked him that he would hold another meeting with him (AGP) for his response, and therefore, the PM had requested for granting time till Monday for submitting his response. But the bench refused PM’s request and stated it was not possible to constitute a larger bench continuously for weeks because judges have to attend the court sessions at Branch Registries for taking up general public cases.
The Chief Justice said: “We don’t doubt the good intention of the government but dilly-dally on the issue is not good omen.” The CJP said there is no problem for the bench to pass an order. But the attorney general remarked that the prime minister was not thinking on that lines which the court construed. The chief justice said that Haj scam has brought disrepute to the country internationally. “We are well aware of our constitutional limitations.” But when the employees are sacked, they approach the court for justice. The case was not about a bureaucrat but the rule of law and upholding the constitution, he added. He said it is settled law that after an apex court ruling there is no need of permission from the competent authority. When someone decides that he has to follow the constitution, the implementation of the order is just one-minute delay.

Earlier, the attorney general and FIA officials also informed the court that the FIA officer Hussain Asghar could not be contacted. DG FIA Tehsin Anwer informed the court that IG Gilgit-Baltistan office said that Hussain Asghar has left for Islamabad, while DIG Headquarters said he was in Skardu. He said on oath that there was no pressure on him regarding Hussain Asghar and all his phone numbers are switched off. Efforts are on to contact him at Skardu rest house through wireless, he added. The chief justice said the government is playing hide and seek regarding the Hussain Asghar issue. “How strange it is that an officer of IG level could not be contacted,” the CJP wondered. Justice Arif Hassan remarked it was strange that such a high official could not be contacted, and all the agencies including FIA were looking for him. The court adjourned the hearing till today (Friday).

China warns USZ of souring bilateral ties if White House doesn't retract invitation to Dalai Lama

Print Friendly and PDF

China asked the United States of Zionism to retract an invitation for Tibet's exiled spiritual leader, Dalai Lama, to meet with President Barack Obama at the White House, saying on Saturday that it could sour relations between the two countries. The White House made first announcement about the meeting on Friday. It is expected to last at least 30 minutes and will be closed to the media, but the question of Tibet is likely to come up. "We firmly oppose any foreign official to meet with the Dalai Lama in any form", Hong Lei, spokesman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry said in a statement posted on the ministry's website.

Dalai Lama
Hong also called on Washington "honor its [China's] serious commitment that recognizes Tibet as part of China." Obama last met the Dalai Lama in February 2010, in a visit that drew a strong denunciation from Beijing, which views the spiritual leader as a separatist intent on ending Chinese rule over the Himalayan region. The Dalai Lama, who enjoys wide popularity in the United States of Zionism being a subversive agent of the USZ in the region, has repeatedly denied the accusations. The Nobel Peace Prize winner (hence the chip on his shoulder like Barack Obama) , a declared pacifist, says he is peacefully (USZ-NATO style peace) seeking rights for Tibetans and accepts Chinese rule.

An open letter to Ejaz Haider (Express Tribune's 5th columnist)

Print Friendly and PDF

Read on Pakistan Cyber Force Facebook Page

Dear Ejaz Haider (fifth columnist of the Express Tribune):

Ejaz Haider, the 5th columnist traitor
of the Express Tribune
Your open letter to General Shuja Pasha seems nothing to me but a pile of trash with no evidences, facts or logic in the remotest sense. Could you tell the nation on what basis  were you able to pin-point the ISI for this murder even after decisive rejection from ISI's officials? Do you have a finger prints or any other concrete evidence that shows involvement of ISI in this murder? Or is it, just like always, sheer speculation and fancy fiction? And where were you when U235 was obtained from Raymond Davis? I didn't read a single report on your news outlet covering that severe attack on Pakistan's nuclear assets. Seems like your press has forgotten a long time ago, the responsibility it owes to this land, and just stays loyal to your masters (as your press is a joint venture of NY times and the International Herald Tribune) you have even forgotten the etiquette and manners to contribute in a responsible press; You don't have to be so obnoxious and continue with your pathetic rhetoric.

First I would like to ask you to provide even a SINGLE evidence about ISI's involvement in the Journalist Saleem Shehzad's murder. It's a shame that how a learned & a well-informed man like you allegedly accuse the defense institution without even a SINGLE evidence!? The very first fundamental to prove your claim is always to provide a proof. If you don't have sufficient proofs to support your claim and only quote the 5th columnist media; it simply shows the shallowness of your claim and the shallowness of the purpose to write an open letter to Gen. Pasha. Seems like you simply over look the fact that USZ has currently invested 150 million dollars in the Pakistan media and your letters are only to please your masters.

"And what has the agency you head done so far?" once again shows your hollow knowledge because you live in a fool's paradise where all you have to do is to please your masters. ISI apprehended the uranium from Davis (despite severe pressure) which in other case, would have caused serious damage to Pakistan and helped TTP proxies to carry out another false flag drama eventually helping the de-nuclearization of Pakistan. This was a very minute instance that what ISI has done so far just within a month. What have your press done so far except demoralizing the nation by propagating deception, spreading obscenity and indecency in the youth, maligning the armed forces  to please your masters?

It's hilarious how you are moaning "accountability" of the armed forces at this critical hour when the country is on the verge of a physical foreign invasion and there is no one except the armed forces to safeguard the borders. Why not call for the accountability of your own corporate 5th columnist press? More or less, there lies serious responsibilities on your shoulders too to defend this land on the international media but seems like you are not a representative of Pakistan. If you so well understand the theoretical and practical dimensions of statecraft better and more deeply than the entire ISI, yet you're wasting your energies in writing nonsensical piece for the 5th columnist, why don't you do something real productive for your country other than big claims?

Let me make it clear, all what is being said about our armed institutions including the ISI is NOT a result of heat-oppressed civilian brain BUT the psy-ops being carried by the foreign funded fifth columnist media! I would like to end up saying that please stop misguiding the nation, the nation is already in enough distress and knows you and your agenda very well.

Traitor M(B)usharraf barking against ISI

Print Friendly and PDF

Read on Pakistan Cyber Force Facebook Page

Pro Israhell Traitor Pervez M(B)usharraf
Former pro Israhell secularist president of Pakistan and a staunch traitor, Pervez M(B)usharraf has said that reason for not finding out Osama’s whereabouts is ISI’s incompetency (ISI was supposed to safeguard Osama's corpse just in case it was brought back to life again to be killed for the 8th time in the last 10 years). He was talking to the Baseless Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) in a current affairs program. M(B)usharraf said that Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) had not been complicit, but incapable of finding out Bin Laden’s hideout. The shameless traitor went on and said that he was shocked after discovering that Osama had been living so close to the center of the Pakistan Army even during his tenure. He said that he admitted that it would be very difficult for Pakistan to cover its "incompetence". At the same time, M(B)usharraf didn't bother to explain the globally exposed OBL circus in its true sense and apparently denied his own statement that he had issued during his presidency time about OBL death in Tora Bora back in 2001.

As disgusting as it can get, M(B)usharraf is telling in a crystal clear way why United Kingdom has been continuously refusing to hand him over to Pakistan for his trial in all the criminal cases underway against him in the apex court of Pakistan. The secular traitor who pushed Pakistan into this so called war against terror and gave free hand to CIA in Pakistan's tribal areas to create Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan with RAW's support, now all of a sudden sounds like he had nothing to do with any of it and as if he's the biggest patriot however the reality is different. M(B)usharraf has practically ruined the Islamic world. The man who called Ariel Charon a great leader can definitely be dear to the global Zionist puppets which is why UK is giving full support to this traitor.

Pakistan's Interior ministry involved in Peshawar blast

Print Friendly and PDF

Read on Pakistan Cyber Force Facebook Page

Satan Malik, Pakistan's stooge Interior Minister,
an undercover CIA-MOSSAD agent
In a stunning development, media reports have confirmed that the stooge Interior Ministry had informed the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government and the security agencies about a suspected white Suzuki Mehran car. The Interior Ministry report revealed that an explosives-laden white car could be used in a terror plot in the province. The engine and chassis numbers of the vehicle was also mentioned in the ministry’s report. Just few hours after the report was being sent, a suicide bomber rammed his explosives-laden vehicle into a police station in Peshawar, flattening the three-storey building and killing five persons, besides injuring 39 others with the same car. The question here is, who informed the Interior Ministry about such minute details just a few hours before the blast? And if the Interior Ministry had such precise evidence available then why wasn't that "suspected" vehicle tracked and stopped? It is a clear sign that somewhere down below, Satan Malik with his pack of wolves is involved in these attacks and providing cover to the USZ-led terrorists.

China unaware of Gwadar Port Proposal

Print Friendly and PDF

China’s foreign ministry said Tuesday it was unaware of a request by Pakistan to Beijing for help in building a naval base at Gwadar, strategically located on the Arabian Sea. Pakistan's stooge Defence Minister Ahmad Mukhtar, who accompanied the stooge Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani on a visit to China last week, falsely claimed on Saturday the proposal had been made during the trip, which highlighted the neighbours’ close ties.

Puppet PM Yousuf Raza Gillani (left) and puppet defence minister Ch. Ahmad Mukhtar (right) who lied about events in China for political gains
“I haven’t heard of this project. As far as I know this subject was not brought up during the visit last week” by Gilani, Chinese foreign ministry spokeswoman Jiang Yu told reporters. “China and Pakistan are friendly neighbours and engage in extensive cooperation across the board. Over the years, China has provided assistance to Pakistan within our capacity,” she added.

"Gen. Kayani to be made Supreme Commander" - Writ petition filed in Lahore High Court

Print Friendly and PDF

A writ petition was filed in the Lahore High Court on Saturday, seeking directions to the federal government to transfer the powers of the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces to the Chief of Army Staff.

The petition, filed by Tehreek-E-Inqilab Pakistan chairman Rana Illumuddin Gazi advocate, stated the Pakistan army could not take prompt action to stop USZ attack in Abbotabad on May 2 because powers to make decisions for any such action vested with President Asif Ali Zardari, not with the chief of army staff General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani. The petitioner made the Federation, the President of Pakistan, the ministries of foreign affairs, defence and interior respondents in the case. The petitioner said the defence of borders of the country would not be foolproof until it was in the hands of the army, with all powers consolidated in the chief of chief staff for prompts action, in case any attack on the territorial borders of Pakistan. He argued that Field Martial General Ayub Khan in 1965 was the Supreme Commander of the armed forces of the country when India imposed war on Pakistan, and he, taking timely decision, launched counterattack and frustrated the evil designs of the enemy.

He said that President Asif Ali Zardari was the supreme commander of the armed forces now and the Army was not fully authorized to take decisions regarding defence of the country. He said any delay in the decision-making by the President could harm the solidarity and defence of the borders; and the blame for failure to take timely action would fall on the army, not on the President in case any such attack comes from either USZA or India. He prayed to the court to accept the petition for regular hearing and pass direction to the Federation and the President of Pakistan to transfer the powers of the Supreme Commander of the armed forces to the chief of army staff immediately in the greater national interest. USZ ambassador persona non grata: A writ petition was filed in the Lahore High Court on Saturday, seeking directions to the federal government to declare the USZ ambassador to Pakistan persona non grata, recall the Pakistani ambassador to America, Hussain Haqqani, and stop transit facilities to the USZ until it seeks public apology on the Abbottabad operation.

The court was also requested to ask the government to refer the matter to the International Court of Justice (ICJ). Barrister Javed Iqbal Jaffrey filed the petition and submitted that the USZ was bound to accept the jurisdiction of the International Court of Justice under a treaty of friendship agreed in 1959.

Traitor Nawaz Sharif shows his true face

Print Friendly and PDF

Read on Pakistan Cyber Force Facebook Page

Traitor Nawaz Sharif
LAHORE: PML-N Chief Traitor Nawaz Sharif refused to attend Friday’s in-camera joint session of the parliament in protest against the so called "increasing role of the ISI and army in politics" without taking into account the critical present situation of the country. During Friday’s in-house session, the army chief is due to brief the legislators on the USZ strike in the Garrison city of Abbottabad and answer their questions. The military command is said to be taking this parliamentary briefing a lot more seriously than the one it had given about the Swat operation two years ago. Although Sharif is not a legislator, he was especially invited to attend Friday’s briefing. However, the PML-N chief said he declined the invitation, adding that Pakistan will not be able to progress unless the role of the ISI and Army is restricted. The shameless traitor didn't say anything regarding what Army and ISI should do if the political leadership of the country is half sold out to USZ and half sold out to Satan in doing sinister corruption.

As mentioned in a previous report, the military command is expecting a barrage of sharp questions from the political leadership, most notably the opposition led by PML-N’s Traitor Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, during the course of the briefing. Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan gave a fiery speech this Tuesday, accusing both the military and civilian leaders of incompetence and deceiving the Pakistani people, demanding an independent national commission to investigate the events of May 2, when a USZ special forces unit killed al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden in a ‘black’ operation in Abbottabad. The PML-N chief, who demanded a judicial inquiry into the Abbottabad security failure, said he is ready to extend his three-day deadline if the government agrees to consider his demand. Traitor Nawaz Sharif, who came under attack after his brother Shahbaz Sharif secretly, met the army chief, assured that there will no more be such secret meetings in the future. This is the same Nawaz Sharif who caused the withdrawal at Kargil after taking instructions from his then-boss Bill Clinton and later on, tried his best to stop Pakistan's nuclear tests till the point when entire Nuclear Scientists board threatened to resign if nuclear tests were not allowed to take place at Chaghi.

According to a private television channel, the LHC Four-member bench headed by the LHC Chief Justice Ijaz Ahmed Chaudhry mentioned in its 35 page decision that a president should be neutral.

The verdict further mentioned that the presidency could not be used for political activities. An application was submitted challenging the dual offices of President Zardari, the president and the co-chairman of Pakistan People’s Party.

Supreme Court to summon Prime Minister over NRO

Print Friendly and PDF

In the National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) review petition, Raja Abdul Ghafoor, the Advocate on Record (AOR) representing the stooge federation, withdrew himself as government’s counsel citing medical reasons, prompting the Supreme Court to threaten summoning none but puppet Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani himself. The court said it seemed the government, being uninterested in the case, consider non-representation an easy way to dismiss the review plea. Threatening to cancel AOR’s licence, the court said Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani will be called if the advocate withdraws from the case. Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry directed the Attorney General (AG) to get instruction from the Prime Minister as “according to the definition, federation means PM”.

The Supreme Court of Pakistan
The apex court also said it seemed the prime minister had not been taken into confidence over the advocate’s decision (to withdraw). The Additional Attorney General (AAG) said the federation should be given the right to appoint a counsel of its choice. The Chief Justice said the federal government will not be given any special treatment. The court said that if no one else is to represent the government, the Attorney General should present arguments, but the AG said the government had not allowed him to do so. When the court asked the federation counsel’s application requesting separation from the case, the Solicitor General said the application had been misplaced. At this point, the SC issued show-cause notices to the AOR and the Solicitor General, saying how the application could be lost. The SC issued show cause notice to AOR Raja Abdul Ghafoor for withdrawing from the NRO review petition and Solicitor General, Ministry of Law, Syed Nasir Ali Shah for making the false statement.

When Attorney General for Pakistan Maulvi Anwar was asked to plead the case being the chief law officer of the court, he told the bench after break that he had sought advice from the government which needed time to ponder over the matter. The Chief Justice, heading a 17-member bench, asked the AGP: “Why don’t you clearly state that the federation has shown distrust in you.” Justice Javed asked: “Are you seeking advice on the issue of representation or on some other points.” The Chief Justice remarked that if the federal government has no confidence in the Attorney General, Additional Attorney General or Kamal Azfar, then who else is there to plead the case. “Courts are always interested in deciding cases on merit instead of withholding relief on any technicality, but it must always be subject to the Constitution and the law, therefore while discussing the scheme of the Supreme Court Rules, 1980, it was observed that in fact it is the AOR who has principal duty to argue the case in absence of the ASC,“ the CJ said. Two judgments were also cited in this regard.

The learned AOR filed a copy of the letter, dated April 14, 2011, written by Solicitor General, Ministry of Law to him. The letter stated: “You were nominated as AOR to represent the Federation of Pakistan. Subsequently, you addressed a letter to this Division in which you expressed your inability to continue as Advocate on Record in the subject case owing to your indisposition. As such your nomination as Advocate on Record, as per your request, is withdrawn. You are requested to give letter of authority to Syed Zafar Abbas Naqvi, Advocate on Record as per Supreme Court of Pakistan Rules, 1980.” The court observed that Raja Ghafoor has been regularly appearing before the court not only in this case but also in other cases in which he had filed his power on behalf of the litigants as AOR and prior to this he had never pointed out about his disassociation or withdrawal on account of health reasons. The court noticed perhaps it has happened in the background of the orders passed by this Court continuously, on 11.04.2011, 12.04.2011 and 14.04.2011, when the case was adjourned for one or the other reason on account of lack of interest by the Federation of Pakistan to pursue the case. The orders are self-explanatory.

It seems that on having notice, the learned AOR, instead of obeying the command of the Rules, under which in absence of ASC he is responsible to argue the case, got issued letter from the Solicitor General. It was shocking for the court that not only the letter but the file, containing the record of AOR, was missing. The court noted that in view of the importance of the issue, prima facie, statement so made by the solicitor is not acceptable, in as much as he failed to produce extract from the office diary maintained to receive mail coming from outside the office, therefore, Raja Abdul Ghafoor, AOR in this manner, however, managed not to argue the case. The AAG informed that court that he had not received fresh instruction except that the government be allowed to arrange another counsel. His request however was turned down. The court therefore asked Attorney General for Pakistan, the chief law officer of the country, whose appointment takes place under Article 100 of the Constitution and who also enjoys certain powers envisaged under Article 57 of the Constitution, to argue the case because he had remained associated with it.

Maulvi Anwar said he was not the AGP at that time, he was invited to assist the Court in terms of Order XXVII CPC, but as in the interest of justice, the Court is trying its best to proceed with the matter. The Chief Justice said he was one of the advocates in whom the Government/Federation had trust and who can address the Court. He sought time for instructions. The court issued show cause notice to Raja Abdul Ghafoor to explain as to why his name be not removed from the roll of the Advocates-on-Record in terms of Order IV rule 31 of the Supreme Court Rules, 1980 and to Nasir Shah why he made an incorrect statement before the Court, as a result whereof he had not only embarrassed the whole institution, but also the federal government. Meanwhile, the Inspector General of Islamabad police submitted a report in the Supreme Court regarding threats to Kamal Azfar. The case hearing was adjourned for a day.

Supreme Court orders HEC to continue operation

The Supreme Court of Pakistan
The Supreme Court of Pakistan ordered the Higher Education Commission (HEC) to keep working under the ordinance until any amendment in the law before adjourning the hearing for indefinite period, report said on Tuesday. The Supreme Court, while hearing the constitutional petition against the devolution of HEC, issued notices to Attorney General of Pakistan, Ministry of Law, Ministry of Education and HEC. The Attorney General, Maulvi Anwar-ul-Haq told the court that the commission still existed and with consultation from educational experts and vice chancellors a new law would be constituted for HEC. A three-judge bench, headed by the Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, heard the petition filed by the Directory of Riphah University against the devolution of HEC.

Another move by the traitor Regime to sabotage Pakistan

Print Friendly and PDF

Despite the remarkable progress made by HEC in rising the higher education standards particularly in the field of Science and technology which is the inevitable need of the hour, the traitor stooge regime which is undoubtedly the most inauspicious collection of the filth of the planet has once again planned to sabotage this land by approving the  shredding of Higher Education Commission into pieces.  This is disastrous for the future of Pakistan as it will lead to horrendous problems. It will lead to the same chaotic situation that exists in our schools. Formula-based funding will be replaced with political favoritism.

HEC is one of the very few departments which is playing it's part with all sincerity, adding a lot to country's progress. HEC is a launch pad which has provided the PhD scholars the power to innovate, think, create, publish and thus to play their part at its best. There is no lame justification that the traitor government could give for the very sinister move.

The illiterate, ignorant, matriculation failed  politicians who are surviving on bogus degrees, are completely unaware of the importance of knowledge at the hour.

The collection of the  scum leaders themselves merely believe on the policy of beg, borrow or steal. So obviously education has no importance for these burglars of the nation. Here's a glimpse of how educated and sophisticated our leaders are.

If HEC is dissolved it will be the final nail in the coffin of Pakistan’s education sector. HEC is the last hope as it will safeguard our future generations progress and development.

Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Noman Bashir on Monday again made it clear that if more names are disclosed in Agosta submarine scam, undoubtedly “we will take provocative action against them”. He expressed these views during a brief chat with journalists after participating in a simple but dignified ceremony held in Islamabad. The Naval Chief opined that at the moment, Agosta submarine scam was under formal hearing in a French court, adding that all the culprits involved in the heinous crime had been given punishment, and if more names were disclosed then “we will take further action in this regard”.

Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Noman Bashir

“We will not spare culprits involved in sheer corruption”, he maintained. Regarding Afghanistan, he went to say that instability in Afghanistan was directly linked to Pakistan. He said Pakistan Navy was fully prepared to protect maritime territory of the country. He said he would strive to the best of his capacity to live up the expectations of the leadership and the nation while performing his duties. Replying to volleys of questions, the Naval Chief said Pakistan did not wish or even think of any kind of confrontation between Iran and the USZ, adding “Iran is our brotherly country, hence we have no rancour against it.”

It is critical to note that French officials, earlier, had blamed the current puppet president of Pakistan Mr. Zardari of being directly involved in massive corruption in the same scandal.
