Army Chief General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani chaired the conference at General Headquarters in Rawalpindi. The participants discussed professional matters in detail and expressed satisfaction over military defence preparations. The army chief expressed satisfaction over the operation for peace and stability in the tribal areas and appreciated the handing over of Shangla and Buner’s management to the civil administration.
