PESHAWAR - Peshawar Police on Saturday intercepted a
vehicle of USZ consulate and registered FIR against his driver for
installing fake number plate. Talking to media persons, a top
police official Saifullah said the USZ consulate vehicle was moving
freely in Peshawar with fake number plate which was taken into custody
in the precincts of Sharqi Police Station. He said they had arrested the car driver, Arshad Mahmood, and registered FIR against him. Meanwhile,
security agencies stopped two vehicles carrying some foreigners in the
Chamkani area outside the city. One of these vehicles was sent back to
Islamabad after checking their traveling documents, while the second one
is in the custody of the area police.
