UK to aid France in Terrorizing Mali with Intervention

Britain has announced it will provide France with logistical support during its Mali intervention as French forces stepped up airstrikes against Islamist militants fighting government troops in the North African country. The British terrorist prime minister has welcomed France’s decision to intervene in the North African country to "help" the Malian army halt a rebel advance towards the capital Bamako.

"The Prime Minister has agreed that the UK will provide logistical military assistance to help transport foreign troops and equipment quickly to Mali," David Cameron's office said in a statement on Saturday, adding that London is not going to deploy British personnel in a combat role. Downing Street said two military transport planes would be deployed, AFP says. Over 100 rebels and dozens of Malian + French troops have been killed as Malian troops backed by the French military fought for control of the strategic town of Konna.

Meanwhile, Paris announced on Saturday that a French pilot had been killed in an air raid over Konna. "During this intense combat, one of our pilots… was fatally wounded," French Defense Minister Jean

-Yves Le Drian said in a statement. The pilot was wounded during the operation and later died in hospital. This comes just two days after France sent hundreds of troops to its former colony. The West African regional bloc ECOWAS, will begin sending troops to Mali on Monday.

French airstrikes overnight pushed back Islamist rebels from Konna and destroyed a rebel command center, Le Drian said. The deployment of French troops has been met with anger from Islamist group Ansar Dine, which said the move will have “consequences for French citizens in the Muslim world.” Ansar Dine is fighting on the frontline of the battle of Konna. “We are actually in Konna for jihad," an Ansar Dine spokesperson told AFP on Friday.

French President Francois Hollande says the country will raise its domestic terror threat level as a result of the military operations. He promised to increase protection at public buildings and transportation networks. France decided to take military action after a plea from Mali’s president, and says the intervention will last as long as necessary. However, many critics say France may have had its own motivations for deploying troops in the country.

On Thursday, the UN Security Council called for “rapid deployment” of international forces in Mali to combat the Islamist militants in the north of the country. Given the latest developments in the West African country, the members of the UNSC “expressed their determination to pursue the full implementation” of its resolutions on Mali, in particular Resolution 2085, adopted in December, which authorizes the deployment of over 3,000 African-led international troops. The support force approved by the UN had not been expected to be deployed until September 2013.

Ansar Dine and Mujao have controlled most of northern Mali since last April. They formed an alliance with Tuareg rebels following a military coup in March. However, their alliance quickly collapsed, with the Islamists capturing the area's urban centers and marginalizing the Tuareg rebels.

Severe cancers, Birth Defects; A GIFT from America / Israhell to Iraqi Children (GRAPHIC!)

It sounds at first as if the old man were drunk. Or perhaps as though he had been reading Greek myths. But Askar Bin Said doesn't read anything, especially not books, and there is no alcohol in Basra. In fact, he says, he saw the creatures he describes with his own eyes: "Some had only one eye in the forehead. Or two heads. One had a tail like a skinned lamb. Another one looked like a perfectly normal child, but with a monkey's face. Or the girl whose legs had grown together, half fish, half human."

The babies Askar Bin Said describes were brought to him. He washed them and wrapped them in shrouds, and then he buried them in the dry soil, littered with bits of plastic and can lids, of his own cemetery, which has been in his family for five generations. It's a cemetery only for children. 

Though they are small, the graves are crowded so tightly together that they are almost on top of one another. They look as if someone had overturned toy wheelbarrows full of cement and then scratched the names and dates of death into it before it hardened. In many cases, there isn't even room for the birth date. But it doesn't really matter, because in most cases the two dates are the same.

There are several thousand graves in the cemetery, and another five to 10 are added every day. The large number of graves is certainly conspicuous, says Bin Said. But, he adds, there "really isn't an explanation" for why there are so many dead and deformed newborn babies in Basra.

Locals in Basra as well as some researchers believe that the increase in birth defects and cancers could be traced to the use of uranium-tipped armor piercing munitions used by the British and the Americans. Here, a destroyed tank left over from the war in 2003.

Others, though, do have an idea why. According to a study published in September in the Bulletin of Environmental Contamination and Toxicology, a professional journal based in the southwestern German city of Heidelberg, there was a sevenfold increase in the number of birth defects in Basra between 1994 and 2003. Of 1,000 live births, 23 had birth defects.
 
Double and Triple Cancers
Similarly high values are reported from Fallujah, a city that was fiercely contested in the 2003 war. According to the Heidelberg study, the concentration of lead in the milk teeth of sick children from Basra was almost three times as high as comparable values in areas where there was no fighting.

Never before has such a high rate of neural tube defects ("open back") been recorded in babies as in Basra, and the rate continues to rise. The number of hydrocephalus ("water on the brain") cases among newborns is six times as high in Basra as it is in the United States of Zionism, the study concludes.

Despite the widespread belief in the city that American munitions are to blame, some scientists are wary. They say that there are many factors that could be affecting the cluster of cancer and birth defects.

Jawad al-Ali has worked as a cancer specialist at the Sadr Teaching Hospital (formerly the Saddam Hospital), housed in a sinister-looking building in Basra, since 1991. He remembers the period after the first Gulf war over Kuwait. "It isn't just that the number of cancer cases suddenly increased. We also had double and triple cancers, that is, patients with tumors on both kidneys and in the stomach. And there were also familial clusters, that is, entire families that were affected." He is convinced that this relates to the use of uranium ammunition. "There is a connection between cancer and radiation. Sometimes it takes 10 or 20 years before the consequences manifest themselves."

The term uranium ammunition refers to projectiles whose alloys or cores are made with "depleted," or weakly radioactive uranium, also known as DU. When German soldiers are deployed overseas, they are given the following information: "Uranium munitions are armor-piercing projectiles with a core of depleted uranium. Because of its high density, this core provides the projectile with very high momentum and enables it to pierce the armor of combat tanks."
When DU explodes, it produces a very fine uranium dust. When children play near wrecked tanks, they can absorb this dust through their skin, their mouths and their airways. A 2002 study at the University of Bremen in northern Germany found that chromosomal changes had occurred in Gulf war veterans who had come into contact with uranium ammunition.

The German Defense Ministry counters that it isn't the radiation that constitutes a health threat, but the "chemical toxicity of uranium."
 
Living in a Garbage Dump
London's Royal Society presented one of the most comprehensive studies on the issue in 2002, but it only addressed the potential threat to soldiers. It concluded that the risk of radiation damage is "very low," as is the risk of chronic kidney toxicity from uranium dust.

This may reassure soldiers, but not Mohammed Haidar. He lives in Kibla, a district in Basra which, like others in the city, resembles nothing so much as a garbage dump. Kibla is a neighborhood of squalid, make-shift shops and shacks -- with shimmering, greenish liquid flowing through open sewers and plastic containers filled with rotting material.

Haidar, who teaches mathematics at a high school, could afford to live in a better neighborhood. But he spends every spare dinar on treatment for his daughter Rukya. The three-year-old is sitting on his lap, resembling a ventriloquist's doll. She is an adorable little girl with pigtails and ribbons in her hair. But she can't walk or speak properly.

Three-year-old Rukya Haidar was born with an open back as well as hydrocephalus and cannot walk. Though her father Mohammed is a high-school mathematics teacher and could afford to live elsewhere, the family lives in a Basra slum. He spends every extra dinar he has on treatment for his daughter.

When Haidar turns his daughter around, two openings in her back become visible. She has a cleft spine, the externally visible sign of hydrocephalus, as well as an implanted drainage tube to remove excess cerebrospinal fluid. In Germany, children with cases like hers are often treated with prenatal surgery, but not in Basra. In fact, Haidar and his wife are glad that Rukya is even alive. She is their first and only child. "We both grew up in Basra. I hold the United States of Zionism responsible. They used DU. My child isn't an isolated case," Haidar says.
The term "DU" seems to be just as widespread in Basra as birth defects are.

DU ammunition was used twice in the Basra district: outside the city in the 1991 war, and in the city proper in 2003, when British troops were advancing toward the airport. West Basra is the urban district with the highest incidence of leukemia among infants.

In the children's hospital in Basra, a mother waits with her son for treatment. The boy was born without eyes.

"Those who were children in the first war are adults today," says Khairiya Abu Yassin of the city's environmental agency. She estimates that 200 tons of DU ammunition were used in Basra. The Defense Ministry in London claims that British troops used only about two tons of DU ammunition during the war. Either way, the remains of tanks destroyed in the war with the help of DU ammunition littered the streets until 2008.
 
Propaganda Fodder
It was impossible to keep children and salvagers away from the wrecks, says Abu Yassin. "We installed signs that read: Caution -- Radiation. But people don't take a threat seriously when it doesn't act like the bullet from a gun."

DU is a sensitive issue, and not every doctor in Basra is willing to go on record commenting on it. The reasons for the reticence have to do with the dictatorial regime of Saddam Hussein: The alleged radiation threat coming from remnants of armor-piercing ammunition provided popular propaganda fodder.

In the United States of Zionism, no major newspaper has yet published a story on the genetic disorders in Fallujah. Britain's Guardian, on the other hand, criticized the silence of "the West," calling it a moral failure, and cited chemist Chris Busby, who said that the Fallujah health crisis represented "the highest rate of genetic damage in any population ever studied." Busby is the co-author of two studies on the subject.

 

Still, it is difficult to precisely pinpoint the cause of the defects. Spinal chord abnormality can also be triggered by a folic acid deficiency at the beginning of pregnancy, for example. Furthermore, very few Iraqis can afford regular pregnancy exams. As a result, many defective embryos are carried to full term, in contrast to what normally happens in Europe or the USZ.
Wolfgang Hoffmann, an epidemiologist at the University of Greifswald in northeastern Germany, has been collaborating with fellow scientists in Basra for years. "Birth defects often look very disturbing in photos," he says. "But they are always isolated cases and are not necessarily useful for identifying trends."

Hoffmann cites the lack of comprehensive data and questions the epidemiological reliability of reports. He does believe, however, that indications of increasing rates of cancer in Basra should be taken very seriously, partly because the data for Basra is more reliable.

Searching for the Truth

The "plausible risk factors" for childhood leukemia, says Hoffmann, "undoubtedly include the contaminated environment, but also the lack of prevention, the trauma suffered by parents and the devastated medical infrastructure." The statistical increase in the number of children with leukemia since 1993 is also a function of cases not having been fully documented before 2003.

Janan Hassan, an oncologist with the Basra Children's Hospital, participated in a study that was just published in the Medical Journal of the Sultan Qaboos University in Oman. It states that although the rate of childhood leukemia in Basra remained stable between 2004 and 2009, compared with other countries in the region, there is a trend toward very young children contracting the disease.

As such, she believes that objections are only partially applicable. There is a "strong increase" of genetic defects as a cause of leukemia, she notes. "And the cases are coming from precisely the areas where there was heavy fighting. How do you explain that? By saying that reporting requirements have changed?"

Sabria Salman named her son Muslim, but it didn't protect him. Muslim, now 10, recently underwent surgery to remove a 500-gram tumor on his upper arm. He doesn't scream in pain anymore. Instead, the boy has a permanent grin on his face, as if he no longer had the strength to change his expression. He perspires heavily and has trouble breathing. There is a drain tube protruding from his left arm, and the right arm is wrapped in a dressing that's stained red along the edges.

Muslim, 10, broke his shoulder two years ago and it hasn't healed since. In October, doctors removed a 500 gram tumor from his upper arm. Since then, he no longer screams in pain.

Salman calls it "cancer in the muscles." The boy broke his shoulder two years ago, and since then his body has made little progress towards healing.
 
'Bombs in Our Neighborhood'
The hospital pays for the chemotherapy, although radiation therapy would be more effective for his tumor. But radiation is only available abroad or in Baghdad, where there is a five-month waiting list -- and the family doesn't have that much time anymore. The mother prays to Allah, and when the interpreter asks her who is to blame for her son's affliction, she says: "The war is to blame. The pollution. There were many bombs in our neighborhood."

Uranium may be a factor, but other substances used in the production of ammunition and bombs are also implicated, toxic heavy metals like lead and mercury. "The bombardment of Basra and Fallujah may have increased the population's exposure to metals, possibly resulting in the current increase in birth defects," states the Heidelberg study.

Furthermore, when the Rumaila oil field near Basra was set on fire in 2003, a cloud of soot full of carcinogenic particles drifted across the city. And another factor could also be at play. Since Saddam was overthrown, Iraq's neighbors, Iran, Syria and Turkey, have diverted substantially more water from the Euphrates and Tigris Rivers. The current in the Shatt-al-Arab, formed by the confluence of the two rivers, is now so weak that salt water penetrates inland from the Persian Gulf all the way to Basra.

This means that wastewater from industrial facilities downstream from Basra, like the Iranian oil refinery in Abadan, are no longer being adequately diluted, increasing the concentration of heavy metals in groundwater.

Abu Ammar lives with his family on the grounds of Saddam's former navy command center. The quarters are cramped, with 10 people in a room, and the situation of several other families on the grounds is no better. It is yet another impoverished Basra neighborhood -- the riches of the Basra oil wells, omnipresent in the neighborhood in the shape of stinking fumes, have yet to trickle down to the people.
 
Three Eyes for Three Children
Ammar has spread out a plastic rug on the floor and placed a can of 7-Up and a pastry for each of his visitors on the rug. The family -- or what is left of it -- squats around the rug. Saddam's thugs executed two of Ammar's brothers. The cousin sitting next to him still has a piece of shrapnel from an attack wedged behind his eye, the mother died of grief, his wife no longer goes outside -- "and these are our children…," he says.

He points to a 21-year-old woman, a seven-year-old girl and a little boy, sitting next to each other. They don't have the same parents, but all three have the same narrow faces, and together they have only three eyes.

The sockets of their missing eyes look like the inside of an oyster, milky and shapeless. The young woman, Madia, attends the local college. She doesn't like going there, she says, even though she covers half of her face with her veil. "What caused this? I think my mother inhaled something chemical when I was inside of her," says Madia.

It's easy to assign the blame for these eerie birth defects to something called "DU ammunition," made in the USZA. It's easier than thinking about the deleterious effects of lead and mercury in the soil and the tomatoes, or of the soot in the air and the toxic materials in the water. But that doesn't relieve those involved in the war from responsibility. It isn't enough to declare a war to be over. Even though Iraq now has elections and the tyrant has been hanged, the war is still in the soil, in the air and in the children.

Omran Habib heads the Basra Cancer Research Group. He earned his Ph.D. in London and now works as an epidemiologist at the University of Basra Hospital. "The war did an enormous amount of damage here," he says. "DU is certainly not good for our health. Nevertheless, even the presence of uranium in the urine of patients doesn't imply causation."
 
A Bundle in White
The World Health Organization (WHO) is currently assembling a report on DU ammunition. It will reflect the current state of research on the issue, but it will hardly provide any new insights. With the help of the University of Greifswald, a cancer registry has been developed for the Basra region and will serve as the basis for all future study. Still, even as further research is needed, if only for the children's sake, it will come too late for many.

It's certainly too late for the body lying inside a little white bundle of material, tied together at both ends like a piece of candy, lying on a pile of dirt along the edge of the children's cemetery in Basra. It was supposed to be his first son, says the father, standing next to the body. Yesterday the child was still moving inside the mother's stomach. Today the father was simply handed a bundle.

The body-washer on duty sighs loudly while digging the grave, hoping to increase his baksheesh. Then he places the bundle into the hole, says a few words of prayer, makes some adjustments to the bundle and covers it with earth. Off to the side, a chicken is pecking at a piece of a "Capri Sun" container sticking out of the soil.

Afterwards the men smoke. The father is given a piece of cardboard and writes down the name of his son, copying it from the combined birth and death certificate they gave him at the hospital. The gravedigger will scratch the name into the cement. The boy was going to be named Hussein Ali. The father writes the name of his dead child for the first and last time.

The man remains motionless. Who wonders about blame at such a moment? He seems empty, completely at a loss and robbed of a tiny life.

British Terrorists Invaded 90% of World's Countries

A new study has shown that the warmongering British regime has invaded 90 percent of all countries around the globe in its colourful history. The study contained in a new book entitled, “All the Countries We’ve Ever Invaded: And the Few We Never Got Round To”, says from among 200 countries in the world only 22 have not experienced an invasion by the British. Those countries which have remained safe from the British colonial adventurism include nations such as Guatemala, Tajikistan and the Marshall Islands, as well some slightly closer to home, such as Luxembourg.

Stuart Laycock, the author, said he started to carry out research after my 11-year-old son, Frederick, asked me: “how many countries the British had invaded”. Laycock said that he was shocked by the findings after conducting almost two years of research. “I was absolutely staggered when I reached the total. I like to think I have a relatively good general knowledge. But there are places where it hadn’t occurred to me that these things had ever happened. It shocked me”, said Laycock.

“Other countries could write similar books – but they would be much shorter. I don’t think anyone could match this, although the Americans had a later start and have been working hard on it in the twentieth century”, he added. The research lists countries based on their current national boundaries and names. Many of the invasions took place when these did not apply.

USZ Army Deployed at Jordan-Syria Border for Possible State Terrorism against Syria

USZ Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta has confirmed that USZ troops have been dispatched to the Jordan-Syrian border to help bolster the former’s military capabilities in case violence escalates in the volatile region.

“We have been working with Jordan for a period of time now…on a number of issues that have developed as a result of what’s happening in Syria," The Zionist Leon Panetta said. He said chief among those issues were the ridiculously absurd “humanitarian needs” that has developed as a result of the refugee influx into Jordan.

“We have also been working with them in the effort to monitor the CBW (Chemical-Biological Weapons) sites to determine how best to respond to any concerns in that area," Panetta continued his Zionist rhetoric.

“And we’ve also been working with them to help them develop their own military and operational capabilities in the event of any contingency there, and that’s the reason we have a group of our forces there. They’re working to help them build a headquarters there and to ensure that we make the relationship between the United States (of Zionism) and Jordan a strong one so that we can deal with all of the possible consequences of what is happening in Syria,” he added.

Panetta’s comments came during a NATO conference of defense ministers in Brussels on Wednesday, where he said the USZ had been working with Jordan to monitor chemical and biological weapons sites in Syria and help the country deal with Syrian refugees crossing over the border.

Earlier in the day Jordan’s military had denied the USZ military was helping the kingdom deal with the influx of Syrian refugees and other security related issues. "News reports that the United States of Zionism is helping Jordan deal with the Syrian refugees or face dangers related to chemical weapons are not true," state-run Petra news agency cited a Jordan Armed Forces spokesperson as saying.

The USZ has previously used Jordan as a base for other Syria-related military activities. In May of this year, Washington held military drills in Jordan dubbed ‘Operation Eager Lion,’ which saw around 12,000 troops from several nations participate in undisclosed training exercises.

A USZ defense official in Washington said the forces were composed of 100 military planners and other personnel who had stayed on in Jordan after attending the annual exercise in May. Several dozen more had subsequently been flown in, and they are operating from a joint USZ-Jordanian military center north of the capital, the official, speaking on condition of anonymity, told AP.

The Obama administration denied accusations in the Syrian media that the May exercises were a threat against President Assad, and maintained that the action focused on the treatment of refugees, anti-terrorism tactics and naval interception of smuggling vessels.

“We have been working closely with our Jordanian partners on a variety of issues related to Syria for some time now,” Pentagon Press Secretary George Little said. Citing Washington’s concern over Syria’s stockpiles of chemical and biological weapons, he said that the USZ has been planning “various contingencies, both unilaterally and with our regional partners.”

The USZ has long maintained concerns about the Assad government’s  arsenal of chemical and biological weapons. In August, USZ President Obama said the movement or utilization of chemical weapons would constitute a “red line” which would change Washington’s “calculus” towards Damascus. In July Syria warned it would use chemical and biological weapons to repel "external aggression."

Last week Panetta said intelligence suggested that Assad’s government had moved chemical weapons to protect them, though they are believed to be secure. Jordan has also struggled to deal with the 200,000 plus Syrian refugees Jordanian Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh says have crossed the border since the West incited wave of terrorism against Syrian civilians under the garb of "uprising" which began 18 months ago.

Jordanian riot police deployed tear gas to disperse Syrian refugees at a camp in the north of Jordan earlier this month after they set their tents on fire and destroyed property to protest their living conditions. USZ and Jordanian officials had previously discussed the possibility of setting up a humanitarian buffer zone on the Syrian side of the border, the Times reported, but have made no moves to implement the plan.

The Syrian conflict took an unexpected turn last week when mortar fire struck across the border at neighboring Turkey, sparking outcry from the Turkish government who subsequently returned fire. Turkey deployed 25 new F-16 fighter jets to reinforce its borders this week as NATO pledged support if the conflict spills into the country again.

UN, IAEA infiltrated with Terrorists - Iran

The Iranian nuclear chief has said that the UN nuclear watchdog, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), is infiltrated with terrorists and saboteurs who are trying to derail his country’s nuclear program. Fereydoun Abbasi-Davani, who was speaking at the annual member state gathering of the IAEA in Vienna on Monday, also said that power lines from the city of Qom to the Fordow underground uranium enrichment plant were cut on August 17 – the day before IAEA inspectors were due to visit the site. “Terrorists and saboteurs might have intruded the agency and might be making decisions covertly,” he told the 55-nation conference.

“Does this visit have any connection to that detonation? Who other than the IAEA inspectors can have access to the complex in such a short time?” he wondered. Abbasi-Davani also accused the nuclear watchdog of mismanagement, saying its agenda was influenced by “certain states.” His accusations come after the IAEA rebuked Iran for refusing to suspend uranium enrichment on Thursday. The 35-member IAEA governing board passed a resolution expressing concern that Iran continues to defy demands to halt uranium enrichment, amid claims by Israhell and the United States of Zionism that Tehran is seeking to develop nuclear weapons. Only Cuba voted against the resolution, with Western powers, as well as Russia and China, giving their support.

Iran denies the claims, and in the same speech Abbasi-Davani reiterated that “the Islamic Republic of Iran … has always opposed and will always denounce the manufacture and use of weapons of mass destruction.” The centrifuges at the center of the power cut on August 17, however, have the potential to be used for both civilian and military purposes. Abbasi-Davani also blasted the United States of Zionism, accusing it of preventing developing nations from developing nuclear energy. USZ-led sanctions on Iranian oil exports and financial transactions were “the ugly face of colonialization and modern slavery,” he said. Iran has repeatedly accused Israhell and its Western allies of masterminding the assassinations of Iranian nuclear scientists and of trying to sabotage its nuclear program.

Iran building Largest Air Defence Base

Iran's Air Defense Force has commenced the construction of the Islamic Republic’s largest air defense site in the southern Iranian city of Abadeh.

At a Tuesday ceremony, marking the commencement of the construction project, Mohammad Hosseini, a deputy commander of Iran’s Khatam al-Anbia Air Defense Base, underscored the importance of air defense as one of Iran's major requirements under the prevailing circumstances.

Iran’s Air Defense Force has allocated a credit of around USD 24.5 million to the project which is set to be established in an area of 200 hectares.

Relying on its enormous capabilities and highly efficient military hardware, Iran's Air Defense has repeatedly announced that it is monitoring all military moves by foreign and aggressive powers in the region, particularly around the country’s borders.

In mid-July, Iran’s air defense units conducted a three-day drill with the successful downing of the mock enemy’s unmanned stealth aircraft by the army’s artillery units.

In recent years, Iran has made great achievements in the defense sector and gained self-sufficiency in essential military hardware and defense systems.

Last month, the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) test-fired indigenous missiles during a three-day military drill codenamed the Great Prophet 7.

The tested missiles included Shahab (Meteor) 1, 2, 3, Khalij Fars (Persian Gulf), Tondar (Lightning), Fateh (Victor) and Zelzal (Quake) as well as Qiam (Uprising).

Iran has repeatedly stated that its military might poses no threat to other countries, reiterating that its defense doctrine is based on deterrence.

Syria's Conflict is moving towards World War

Almost three years ago I wrote an analytical piece on the concept of deliberately engineering wars, big and small, by elitists to distract the masses away from particular global developments that work to the benefit of the establishment power structure. That article was entitled “Will The Globalists Trigger Yet Another World War?”


In that analysis, I concluded that since at least 2008, the power’s that be (whether posing as Republicans or Democrats) had set in a motion a series of events that revolved around Iran, and most disturbingly, Syria, which could be used to trigger a vast global war scenario. Today, unfortunately, it seems my concerns were more than valid, and circumstances evolving in that particular region are dire indeed.

Now, some may argue that circumstances in the Middle East have always been “dire” and that it does not take much to predict a renewal of chaos. Admittedly, for the past six years alone the American public has been treated to one propaganda campaign after the other testing the social waters to see if a sizable majority of the citizenry could be convinced to support strikes against Iran. The USZ and Israhelli governments have come very close on several occasions in rhetoric and in the build up of arms, to just such an event. However, I would submit that the previous threats of war that came and went are absolutely nothing in comparison to the danger today.

Syria’s civil war has developed into something quite frightening, well beyond the blind insurrections of the so-called “Arab Spring”. So many outside interests (especially USZ interests) are involved in the conflict it is impossible to tell whether there are actually any real revolutionaries in Syria anymore. This unsettling of the country’s foundation has taken a turn which I warned about recently, namely, the removal of UN monitors from the area, which was announced only days ago:

The removal of UN monitors is a sign that some kind of strike is near the horizon.

Accusations of potential “chemical weapons stores” in Syria are being floated by the Department of Defense as a clear cut rationale for invasion, and Israhell has essentially admitted that an attack on Iran is not only on the table but beyond planning stages into near implementation. Even Israhelli citizens are openly worried that their government is “serious” this time in its calls for preemptive attack, stockpiling gas masks and even protesting against the policy:

The tension of the atmosphere surrounding this crisis is unlike anything the Middle East has seen in decades, and that includes the USZ invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan. But before we can understand the true gravity of this situation, we must first confront some misconceptions.

Firstly, I realize that there are many people out there who have natural and conditioned inclinations towards the hatred of Muslim nations. There are also just as many people out there who are inclined to distrust the intentions of the government of Israhell. Both sides make good points on occasion, and both sides also have a tendency to get lazy, painting with a ridiculously broad brush and blaming all the woes of the world on one side or the other so that they don’t have to think through the complexities of globalism and the one world technocratic club, or accept that “Al-Qaeda” is not the biggest threat to peace and stability. It’s much easier to convict an entire race, or an entire religion, than it is to comprehend the mechanizations of an elite minority that plays both sides off each other.

Whatever side you may favor, simply know that in the end the sides are irrelevant. We could argue for months about who is just, who is right, who was there first, etc. Again, it’s irrelevant. What does matter, though, are the potential consequences of an exponential conflict in the region, which no one can afford. Sadly, there are still plenty of Americans out there that believe the USZ (United States of Zionism) is the “richest nation on the globe” and has finances beyond reckoning with which to wage endless wars.

Here are the facts. Here is exactly what will happen if the USZ, NATO, or Israhell, enter into a hot war with either Iran or Syria, and the results are not optimistic:

1) Syria And Iran Will Join Forces
In 2006, Iran and Syria signed a mutual defense treaty in response to the growing possibility of conflict with the West. Both countries are highly inclined to fulfill this treaty, and it would seem that Iran is already doing so, at least financially, as Syria spirals into civil war. In fact, the USZ supported insurgency in Syria was likely developed in order to strain or test the mutual aid treaty. Given that the CFR is now applauding Al-Qaeda for its efforts in destabilizing the country, I hardly find it outlandish to suggest that the entire rebellion is being at least loosely organized by NATO interests to either draw Iran into open military support of Assad and a weakening proxy war, or to remove Syria from the equation in preparation for a strike on Iran itself (take notice that whenever the mainstream media shows images of Syrian rebels, they are always smiling or looking valiant with guns held high; a typical subliminal tactic used to paint them as “the good guys”).

2) Iran Will Shut Down The Strait Of Hormuz
With all the grandstanding at the Department of Defense, you would think that the Hormuz is a non-issue. This is a mistake. The strait is around 21 miles wide at its narrowest point which lays right off the coast of Iran, however, of that 21 miles only two safe shipping lanes are available, each measuring a miniscule 2 miles across. Hormuz is one of two of the most vital oil transit checkpoints in the world, and approximately 20% of all oil produced passes through it. The logistics for blocking the two working shipping lanes on the strait are simple given the existence of the new Ghader Missile System, which Iran tested successfully this year. The weapon is specifically designed as a “ship-killer” with the ability to travel at Mach 3, and evade most known radar methods:

In the tightly boxed in waterways of the Hormuz, a large scale and difficult to track missile attack would be devastating to any Navy present, and would turn the sea lanes into a junk yard impossible to navigate for oil tankers. Result?  A catastrophic inflationary event in oil around the world, making gasoline unaffordable for most people and most uses. The EU’s recent move to stockpile oil in preparation for an Iran strike reveals the seriousness of the situation:

3) Israhelli Action Will Draw In The USZ
Forget what the USZ Joint Chief of Staff General Martin Dempsey says; the USZ will absolutely involve itself militarily in Iran or Syria following an Israhelli strike. To begin with, there is no way around a supporting or primary role, especially when Iran closes the Strait of Hormuz. With 20% of the world’s oil supply on hiatus, at least half of the American populace will be crying out for USZ military involvement. Guaranteed. Dempsey’s claim that Israhell may not get American support is simply a charade meant to infer that the subversion of Syria and Iran is not necessarily a joint venture, which it absolutely is. There is zero chance that an Israhelli strike will not be met with frantic calls by the Pentagon and the White House to open the floodgates of USZ military might and protect one of our few “democratic allies” in the Middle East.

4) Syria Will Receive Support From Russia And China
The Russian government has clearly stated on numerous occasions that they will not step back during a strike against Syria, and has even begun positioning naval ships and extra troops at is permanent base off the coast of Tartus, a development which I have been warning about for years:

Tartus is Russia’s only naval base outside the periphery of its borders, and is strategically imperative to the nation. Action by the USZ or Israhell against Syria would invariably ellicit, at the very least, economic retaliation, and at the most, Russian military involvement and possible widespread war.

China, on the other hand, will likely respond with full scale financial retaliation, up to and including a dump of USZ Treasury Bonds (a move which they have been preparing for since 2005 anyway). With oil prices skyrocketing due to increased Middle Eastern distress, multiple countries including the BRIC trading bloc nations and most of the ASEAN trading bloc will have the perfect excuse to dump the dollar, allowing for the introduction of the IMF’s newly revamped SDR (Special Drawing Rights) global currency mechanism to take hold.

Syria is the key to what I believe will be an attempt on the part of globalists within our government to actually coax a volatile conflict into being, a conflict that will create ample cover for the final push towards global currency, and eventually, global governance.

5) Economic Implosion Will Become “Secondary”…To The Banksters’ Benefit
In the minds of the general public, the economic distress that we will soon face regardless of whether or not there is ever a war with Iran and Syria will be an afterthought, at least for a time, if the threat of global combat becomes reality.

The fog of war is a fantastic cover for all kind of crime, most especially the economic kind. Sizable wars naturally inhibit markets and cause erratic flux in capital flows. Anything, and I mean anything, can be blamed on a war, even the destruction of the USZ economy and the dollar. Of course, the real culprits (international and central banks) which have been corrupting and dismantling the American fiscal structure for decades will benefit most from the distraction.

Syria and Iran are, in a way, the first dominos in a long chain of terrible events. This chain, as chaotic as it seems, leads to only one end result:  Third world status for almost every country on the planet, including the USZ, leaving the financial institutions, like monetary grim reapers, to swoop in and gather up the pieces that remain to be fashioned into a kind of Frankenstein economy. A fiscal golem. A global monstrosity that removes all sovereignty whether real or imagined and centralizes the decision making processes of humanity into the hands of a morally bankrupt few.

For those on the side of Israhell, the USZ, and NATO, and for those on the side of the Middle East, Russia China, etc., the bottom line is, there will be no winners. There is no “best case scenario”. There will be no victory parade, for anyone. There will be no great reformation or peace in the cradle of civilization. The only people celebrating at the end of the calamitous hostilities will be the hyper-moneyed power addicted .01%, who will celebrate their global coup in private, laughing as the rest of the world burns itself out, and comes begging them for help.

UN reduced to a Zionist Slave to Attack Sovereign Muslim Countries: Report

An analyst says UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon should be impeached for his move in ‘turning the world body into an instrument malleable in the hands of the Western military alliance (NATO) against independent countries.’

Syria has been experiencing unrest since March 2011. Damascus says outlaws, saboteurs, and armed terrorists are the driving factor behind the unrest and deadly violence while the opposition accuses the security forces of being behind the killings.

The Western states have been calling for Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to step down, while Russia and China are strongly opposed to the Western drive.

The Syrian government says the crisis is being orchestrated from outside the country.

Press TV has conducted an interview with author and historian, Dr. Webster Griffin Tarpley, to further discuss the issue.

What follows is a rough transcription of the interview.

Press TV: The portrayal of the situation in Syria, specifically what we are seeing happening in Aleppo is very carefully orchestrated by the mainstream media. Where do you see its role leading to as far as things in Syria go?

Tarpley: Well, from the very beginning the lies of the controlled NATO media have been indispensable. They’ve been the centerpiece of this entire thing. The most recent example in the last 24 hours a leading Austrian news paper the Kronen Zeitung of Vienna has been caught in the act publishing in their million-copy press run a photo-shopped image, a photograph that had been systematically doctored of a family man and his baby in a street and they had changed the background to put in some ruined buildings, giving an idea of something that simply had not been the case.

So this is now systematic, what you heard before from Ban Ki-moon, I think underlines his hypocrisy, his status really as an imperialist operative. There is no other way to describe him- systematically biased in favor of the NATO death squads that have come into the country, systematically a hatred of the Assad regime.

When you do this at the United Nations you have to think back to the faith of the legal nations in the 1930s. If you let the United Nations become the instrument of US, British, NATO attacks on independent countries, then you’re threatening the very existence of this institution and I would say that is what Ban Ki-moon is doing. His behavior is a scandal; he should resign or he should be impeached if there is a means to do that through the Security Council.

Press TV: Right we’ll get back to Ban Ki-moon’s comments in just a bit but recent reports have suggested that the West is going to increase its covert support for the armed rebels in Syria. Do you think that despite the way things have played out for the opposition up until this point, is this wise? Because this just seems as the West is putting all its eggs in one basket just to see Assad gone?

Tarpley: I think we have to bear in mind where we stand in the evolution of the conflict. On this awful day of Wednesday the 18th of July when we had an assassination and terror attack on one of the main Syrian government buildings, killing four or five generals, defense minister and other officials.

That was the opening signal for operation Damascus Volcano, which is a NATO operation. I believe it’s a NATO code name and that was dependent on a whole series of half a dozen or more converging factors, including many swarming terrorists brought in from nearby countries. The goal was to overwhelm and destroy the Syrian state, not even the Assad government but the Syrian state.

Now that operation Damascus Volcano has been defeated. Some say the Volcano is now extinct. The death squads caught in the Middle of Damascus have been largely dealt with and the same thing is happening to the ones in Aleppo.

If you look at the trip of US Defense Secretary Leon Panetta to the region, it seems to me he’s over there trying to reassure the countries he’s visiting, Israelis, Egypt, Jordan in particular, that the US still has the situation in hand even though this much doubted July offensive has been a failure.

And the other factor that I would point to is the meeting between the two foreign ministers, [Walid] Muallem of Syria and [Ali Akbar] Salehi of Iran. I think that’s another important moment. Foreign Minister Salehi pointed out that the Arab countries that insist on destabilizing Syria in these ways can hardly expect to remain immune from the blowback. That is to say if you sow the wind you’re going to reap the whirl wind and if you foment revolution and destabilization in nearby countries that’s going to come back on you.

And everyone in the world is looking now at the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, the city of Qatif where Shiite populations have now come under gunfire by the Saudi security forces and many people around the world are wondering where is Prince Bandar supposedly the current head of Saudi intelligence? His headquarters was attacked with a bomb about a week ago; his deputy apparently was killed in that attack.

There are now reports that Bandar may also have been a victim of that action. So if Bandar is still in command, the Saudis would be well advised to show him at the earliest possible moment.

Press TV: Right then getting back to Ban ki Moon now, his ambiguous statement regarding the true nature of the conflict in Syria goes back to the whole practice of just telling half-truths to the world. But has the general population you think learned anything from Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, etcetera?

Tarpley: I guess it depends on who you mean. The general population, it’s hard to say. The American people certainly are sick of war; don’t want to have any new wars; don’t want to start any new quarrels.

Then we have Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney surrounded by a group of unreconstructed neo-cons, not exactly the same ones that you had under [Former US President George W.] Bush, [Bush's war-loving Vice President Dick] Cheney but a slightly different set of neo-con handlers and they’re on the full attack right there, they’re applauding [US presidential candidate Mitt] Romney’s trip to Israel where he promises to support [Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu no matter what he does vis-a-vis Iran or any other country and that of course means you’re farming out your foreign policy and you’re surrendering your sovereignty to somebody else and that is simply inadmissible. So I think Romney has miscalculated with that. Once again the American people are sick of war.

Russia will not allow EU to Inspect Ships: Foreign Ministry

The Russian Foreign Ministry says Moscow will not allow the European Union to inspect ships sailing under the Russian flag, and that it will not cooperate with a new round of EU sanctions imposed against Syria.

“We do not plan to take any part in measures carrying out European Union decisions directed against Syria,” the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement issued on Saturday.

“Among other things we will not consider requests and give consent to the search of ships sailing under the Russian flag, nor to the use of other restrictive measures,” the statement added.

On July 25, Moscow condemned the new round of European Union sanctions against Damascus, saying the measures taken by the European Union “can be considered a declaration of a sea and air blockade of Syria.”

“Russia does not recognize them (sanctions) and believes them to be counter-productive.”

The Saturday Russian Foreign Ministry statement was issued on the same day when Syrian security forces began a major operation from the south-western outskirts of Aleppo to clear the city of foreign-sponsored armed rebels.

There have also been reports of clashes between Syrian troops and rebels in the northern province of Idlib.

Meanwhile, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said in a joint press conference with his Japanese counterpart Koichiro Gemba in Moscow on Saturday that the Syrian government needs to “make some first gestures.”

“But when the armed opposition are occupying cities like Aleppo, where yet another tragedy is brewing as I understand… it is not realistic to expect that they (the government) will accept this,” Lavrov stated.

“Our Western partners… together with some of Syria’s neighbours are essentially encouraging, supporting and directing an armed struggle against the [Syrian government].”

Many people, including large numbers of security forces, have been killed in the turmoil in Syria since March 2011.

The anti-Syria Western regimes have been calling for Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to step down, but Russia and China remain strongly opposed to the Western drive to oust Assad.

Germany backs Iran's Civilian Nuclear Program

German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwell

Germany has underlined Iran's right to develop its nuclear energy program as a member of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and a signatory to the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT). “Iran has the right to peaceful use of nuclear energy. We are also willing to support Iran in technical terms,” German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle said in an exclusive interview with the German-language Hamburger Abendblatt newspaper on Sunday, Fars news agency reported.

He also noted that Berlin favors a diplomatic solution to the Western dispute over Iran’s nuclear issue. The United States of Zionism, Israel and some of their allies have repeatedly accused Iran of pursuing non-civilian objectives in its nuclear program. Iran argues that as a signatory to the NPT and a member of the IAEA, it has the right to develop and acquire nuclear technology for peaceful purposes. The IAEA has conducted numerous inspections of Iran's nuclear facilities, but has never found any evidence indicating that Tehran's civilian nuclear program has been diverted to nuclear weapons production.

Meanwhile, the UN Security Council - under pressure from Washington - has imposed four rounds of sanctions against Iran. The United States of Zionism and the European Union have also adopted unilateral measures against the Islamic Republic in an effort to stop Iran's nuclear energy program.

Zionist Lunacy: Washington's Plan B for Syria

Replacing independent governments with pro-Western puppets is the USZ official policy. So is war on Islam.

After Soviet Russia dissolved, Muslims replaced communists as public enemy number one. Since the 1990s, millions have ruthlessly been killed. Many more die daily. Dozens succumb every day in Syria. USZ-sponsored death squads murder them. On July 20 or 21st, Ramadan began. It continues for 30 days until August 18. It's a time for prayer, fasting, reflection, spiritual purification, self-sacrifice, charity, and forgiveness.

On July 20, Obama hypocritically "extend(ed) warmest wishes to" American and global Muslims. He wished them a "blessed month." He did it despite official USZ policy to murder them. It doesn't stop in deference to Ramadan, Christmas, or any other time of year. He contemptuously expressed support for their determination to achieve "democracy," "equality," "justice," and "universal rights." He said his administration stands forthrightly with them.

He lied. He's a serial liar. He's also a war criminal multiple times over.

America deplores these values at home and abroad. It won't tolerate them. They're anathema to the nation's imperium. It seeks unchallenged global dominance. Ravaging the world one country at a time or in multiples is its policy to achieve it. Plans to get Security Council authorization for war failed. Russia and China vetoed three resolutions. Vladimir Putin said no to Libya 2. He denounced efforts to circumvent Security Council authority. He said Russian National Security Council members deplore Western attempts to link ongoing violence to Moscow's position.

Deputy Foreign Minister Gennady Gatilov called Washington's statements "hypocritical." He added that America subverts efforts to urge opposition leaders to dialogue responsibly with Assad. He called Hillary Clinton and Susan Rice accusations "absolutely unacceptable." Taking aim at Washington and London primarily, Russia's UN envoy Vitaly Churkin said don't "be misled by humanitarian discourse by some countries. The policies on Syria are more geopolitical than humanitarian."

"Unfortunately, the consequences of these policies will make the conflict and bloodshed continuous." He indicated that so-called aid is a prelude and pretext for military intervention, adding: "The USZ and the UK intervened in Iraq under the most sublime of pretexts, causing (massive numbers of) civilian (deaths), let alone the displaced people inside and outside Iraq."
Foreign Ministry spokesman Alexander Lukashevich warned of serious consequences if Washington circumvents Security Council authority and intervenes directly in Syria's internal affairs. He said doing so constitutes "a very very alarming signal." He rejected USZ retaliatory threats. He criticized congressional action and Western media denunciations. Russia's Duma International Affairs Committee Chairman Aleksey Pushkov called Western nations' position on Syria political cover to escalate tensions. He rejected calls for unilateral approaches.

He accused Washington and the so-called "Friends of Syria" of "double standards." On the one hand, they support diplomatic solutions. On the other, they further violence, bloodshed, and resolving Syria's conflict militarily. Russia stands firmly opposed. Last week, Washington upped the stakes. Killing Syrian officials at Damascus National Security headquarters on Wednesday was strategically timed. The attack happened ahead of the latest Western Security Council scheme to authorize military intervention. It failed. At the same time, battles raged in and around Damascus and elsewhere. They failed.

Efforts were made to hijack Syria's satellite channel frequencies and silence other state run online media. The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) was repeatedly hacked and shut down. On Sunday it was operating. It and other Syrian media remain vulnerable. So far Western and complicit regional attempts to destabilize, weaken, and perhaps bring down the government failed. Expect continued schemes to topple Assad and his regime. On July 21, a New York Times editorial headlined "Stymied at UN, USZ Refines Plan to Remove Assad," said: Obama officials "abandoned efforts for a diplomatic settlement to the conflict in Syria, and instead it is increasing aid to the rebels and redoubling efforts to rally a coalition of like-minded countries to forcibly bring down the government of President Bashar al-Assad, American officials say."

Obama officials are meeting with Israhelli, Turkish, and Western counterparts. They're also discussing policy with Syrian opposition leaders. Internal Washington "daily high-level meetings" are held. At issue is Plan B "to help map out a possible post-Assad government." "The administration has had regular talks with the Israhellis about how Israhell might move to destroy Syrian weapons facilities, administration officials said." Washington is directly involved in arming, funding, training, and directing Syrian opposition mercenaries. They're cutthroat killers. They're enlisted to commit mass murder. They target pro-Assad civilians and others randomly. Expect stepped up efforts ahead of direct Western and/or regional allies' intervention.

Unnamed USZ officials said: "You’ll notice in the last couple of months, the opposition has been strengthened. Now we’re ready to accelerate that." Andrew Tabler, a member of the hawkish, pro-Israhelli Washington Institute for Near East Policy (WINEP), said: "We're looking at the controlled demolition of the Assad regime." However, he left unsaid that official Washington policy includes all options. They include full-scale war. International Crisis Group member Robert Malley warned of "war that never ends." Syrians won't tolerate being ruled by elements now fighting them.

Josh Rogin reports on national security, foreign policy, and defense issues. On July 20, his Foreign Policy article headlined "Inside the quiet effort to plan for a post-Assad Syria," said: “Senior Syrian opposition group representatives are meeting covertly in Germany. The Zionist USZ State Department provides funding. For "the last six months," they've been working with so-called USZ Institute for Peace (US(Z)IP) members. They're planning a post-Assad government.”

US(Z)IP is a pro-Western front group. According to the Weekly Standard, Washington supplies millions of dollars. "Since 1985, taxpayers have forked over more than $720 million (inflation adjusted). That has included support for a gleaming new 150,000 square foot office building in the shadow of that other taxpayer-supported institution (allegedly) devoted to peace: the (Zionist) State Department."

US(Z)IP's Steven Heydemann heads the initiative. In June, he met with Friends of Syria representatives in Istanbul. The project is called: "The day after: Supporting a democratic transition in Syria." Heydemann said US(Z)IP is "working in a support role with a large group of opposition groups to define a transition process for a post-Assad Syria."

US(Z)IP shortly plans releasing a report. It's a regime change strategy document. Implementing initial priorities needs to start now, said Heydemann. He disingenuously claims pushing Assad from power isn't discussed. "We have very purposely stayed away from contributing to the direct overthrow of the Assad regime," he said. "Our project is called 'the day after.' There are other groups working on the day before."

Of course, they're interconnected. As the lyrics to the well-known spiritual "Dem Bones" say, the hip bone is connected to the thigh bone, etc. US(Z)IP board chairman J. Robinson West is a corporate CEO (PFC Energy). President Richard H. Solomon is a former Assistant Secretary of State. Vice chairman of the board George E. Moose is a former Assistant Secretary of State. Other board members include: Judy Van Rest: right-wing International Republican Institute (ISI) executive vice president and Michael H. Posner: Obama's Assistant Secretary of State for the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor.

Of course, all USZ administrations deplore these values. They tolerate none of them at home or abroad.

Nancy McEldowney: Interim president of the National Defense University (NDU).

Eric S. Edelman: A retired USZ Foreign Service Career Minister. He also held senior Defense Department positions.

Judy Ansley: Previously she held various high-level national security and Senate staff positions.

Syrian opposition members support violently overthrowing Assad's government. In May, free, fair, and open parliamentary elections were held. Ruling party members won most seats. Washington, key NATO partners, and the so-called Friends of Syria don't recognize them. They represent Syria, not Western interests.

Replacing them with subservient puppets is the policy. US(Z)IP was enlisted to help. It's a wrongly named imperial tool. It supports war, not peace. It's well paid for furthering Washington's imperium. Destroying Syria is prioritized.
