Mubasher Lucman vs Hamid Mir

All the conversation below happened on 22nd April 2012.

For the last couple of days I was noticing that Mubasher Lucman who does a very popular, and mostly investigative show on Dunya TV, was talking with Dr. Shahid Masood about exposing some of the journalists in Pakistan media. I was closely watching all the messages they exchanged on twitter and I thought I would write a blog once Mubasher Lucman has something to prove. Today he did give out some news paper stories and some video links and explicitly took Hamid Mir's name.

This is my own interpretation of their messages on twitter and I may be wrong. But here is what I understood. For example look at this tweet.

Hamid Mir said he made some enemies by speaking truth, and most of the enemies are not journalists. Mubasher replied by saying "Hamid Mir is about to get a taste of his own medicine and very soon". He then asked Dr. Shahid Masood(who is less open/explicit than Mubasher) "Dr. Saheb also has an idea what I am talking about..... Right sir???" But I think Dr. Shahid didn't reply on this tweet.

Here is another tweet where Dr. Shahid admitted that they had a good discussion. I think they must have discussed Hamid Mir.

These tweets suggest that Mubasher and Dr. Shahid have been working on something related to Hamid Mir. May be collecting some sort of evidence against him.

Now, as I was anxiously waiting for Mubasher to tell us what is he cooking, so was HussanIQ. He asked Mubasher to name those journalists in our media and this time Mubasher named Hamid Mir explicitly! Have a look at this tweet.

Here Mubasher clearly says that Hamid Mir lied about interview of OBL. All he has is just a photo. In another tweet he says that he confirmed it with some 'very close circles' today! I wonder if this one of the 'close circle' persons is Dr. Shahid? Maybe maybe not! :)

In the tweet below Mubasher says he is not scared of anyone!

Ok, so far Dr. Shahid hasn't replied on Mubasher claim. So, HassanIQ tweets that Dr. Shahid should also support your claim.

Now, Mubasher challenges Shaheen Sehbai who is the group editor to prove if he is wrong. Guess what Shaheen Sahbai responds! Keep reading...

Now, Mubasher gives more info about the OBL interview.

So far no responses from Shaheen Sahbai and Dr. Shahid Masood. Mubasher again iterates about the OBL interview in another tweet.

Another very interesting tweet about Khalid Khwaja! Not sure if he is again pointing at Hamid Mir.

Now, after all those above tweets, Mubasher starts to give various news stories and youtube links related to Hamid Mir. I have posted all links below.

Now, after posting all the links and videos, some other people also started to ask Hamid Mir about the video. Here is a tweet and Hamid Mir response! Remember, Hamid Mir did not respond to Mubasher Lucman. He only replied to someone else. May be he didn't want engage with Mubasher.

On this response, Mubasher replied to Hamid. Here is the tweet.

Hamid Mir did not respond to this tweet by Mubasher, but now Shaheen Sahbai(The News International Group Editor) jumped in to support Mubasher claim. Here is what he said. To my understanding, HM is Hamid Mir and HH is Hussin Haqqani.

Here is another one... Someone else also endorsed Shaheen's response. In response to the above tweet, Mubasher tries to confirm if HH means Hussain Haqqani.

Below is Shaeen's last tweet. I didn't quite get it but I think he is trying to say of course.
