مولوی فضل اللہ کا تحریک طالبان پاکستان کی باگ ڈور سنبھالنا حکیم اللہ محسود کے مار ے جانے سے کہیں زیادہ اہم خبر ہے۔ اس تبدیلی کے نتائج صرف فاٹا کی ایک ایجنسی تک محدود نہیں رہیں گے بلکہ نام نہاد امن مذاکرات، تحریک طالبان کی کارروائیوں کے اہداف، سوات میں امن، پاکستان افغانستان تعلقات کے علاوہ پاکستان اور امریکا کے درمیان فوجی سطح پر مذاکرات اور بات چیت بھی ان سے متاثر ہو سکتی ہے۔

مولوی فضل اللہ ان عسکریت پسندوں میں سے ایک ہے جو پاکستان کی ریاست سے ہر طرح کی ٹکر لینے کے لیے اُس وقت سے کمربستہ ہے جب سے وہ پراسرار طور پر سوات کے گرد پاکستان آرمی کے تنگ گھیر ے میں سے مکھن کے بال کی طرح نکل کر سرحد کے اُس پار کنڑ صوبے میں جا پہنچا۔ اِس معاملے پر اُن دنوں میری پشاور میں موجود عسکری حکام سے طویل بحث ہوا کرتی تھی۔ میں دوسر ے صحافیوں کی طرح یہ جاننے کے لیے بیتاب تھا کہ اتنے کامیاب آپریشن کے باوجود مالا کنڈ ڈویژن اور اردگرد کے اضلاع میں ریاست کے خلاف شورش برپا کرنے کے پلان کا سرغنہ پکڑ ا کیو ں نہ جا سکا؟ مولوی فضل اللہ جو اس وقت بعض خبروں کے مطابق زخمی حالت میں تھا، کبھی بھی ان پھرتیلے لڑاکوں کے طور پر نہیں مانا جاتا تھا جو گھائو کھانے کے باوجود بڑی مہارت سے اپنی جگہ تبدیل کر لیتے تھے۔

لحیم شحیم، فربہ جسم کا مالک مولوی فضل اللہ مشکل راستوں پر چلنے کا عادی نہیں تھا۔ اُس کا کام ریڈیو کے ذریعے واعظ کرنا اور اپنے کمانڈرز کو احکامات جاری کرنا تھا۔ مجھے اپنے سوال کا جواب کبھی نہیں ملا۔ جب بھی مولوی فضل اللہ کا قصہ اٹھایا جاتا تو یا خاموشی اور یا پھر عدم دلچسپی کا اظہار بطور ردعمل سامنے آتا۔ اُس وقت ایک انتہائی قابل اور ابھی بھی حاضر سروس عسکری لیڈر اکثر صحافیوں کے فضل اللہ سے متعلق سوالوں کو ’’غیر ضروری‘‘ یا ’’غیر اہم‘‘ قرار دیتے تھے۔ اُن کا کہنا تھا کہ مولوی فضل اللہ جیسے لوگوں کے پیچھے جانا وسائل کے غلط استعمال کے زمر ے میں آتا ہے۔ وہ سمجھتے تھے کہ مالا کنڈ ڈویژن میں عسکریت پسندوں کی شکست بھرپور تھی۔ مولوی فضل اللہ بطور خطرہ مکمل طور پر ٹھکانے لگ چکا تھا لہذا اس پر توجہ دینے کی ضرورت نہیں تھی۔

پاکستان کے فیصلہ ساز اداروں میں اس قسم کی سوچ اُس وقت بھی تبدیل نہیں ہوئی جب فضل اللہ نے صحت یاب ہونے کے بعد کنڑ کے گورنر کی سربراہی میں ایک بڑا لشکر تشکیل دیا۔ جس کو نہ پیسے کی کمی تھی نہ سرحد پار جنگ کے سامان کی۔ باجوڑ میں فضل اللہ کی طرف سے بڑھتی ہوئی کارروائیوں اور مسلسل جھڑپوں پر ہماری طرف سے احتجاج تو کیا گیا مگر کبھی بھی تسلسل کے ساتھ یہ مطالبہ نہیں کیا گیا کہ ہمار ے ملک میں اس دراندازی کو روکا جائے اور فضل اللہ کو ہمار ے حوالے کیا جائے۔ اس کے برعکس حکومتوں نے یہ جانتے ہوئے کہ صدر حامد کرزئی اور غیر ملکی انٹیلی جنس کے ادارے فضل اللہ کو پاکستان کے خلاف ایک زمینی ڈرون کی طرح استعمال کر رہے ہیں۔ کابل کے ساتھ تعلقات بہتر بنانے کی خواہش کو ترک نہیں کیا۔ اب یہی فضل اللہ افغانستان میں سے اس تنظیم کی باگ ڈور سنبھالے ہوئے ہے جسے حکیم اللہ محسود اور اس سے پہلے بیت اللہ محسود نے وزیرستان میں رہتے ہوئے ملک اور قوم پر حملوں کے لیے استعمال کیا۔ دوسرے الفاظ میں مولوی فضل اللہ کی صورت میں تحریک طالبان پاکستان اب تحریک طالبان پاکستان افغانستان بن گئی ہے۔

افغانستان، انڈین اور امریکی انٹیلی جنس ایجنسیز کے لیے اس سے اچھی خبر شاید اور کوئی نہ ہو۔ یہ تمام ممالک پچھلے کئی سال سے یہی الزام لگاتے چلے آ رہے ہیں کہ حقانی نیٹ ورک اور ملا عمر پاکستان میں رہتے ہوئے نیٹو اور آئی سیف کے خلاف جنگ میں مصروف ہیں۔ پچھلے دنوں امریکا کے خصوصی ایلچی برائے افغانستان پاکستان جیمز ڈوبن نے پاکستان کی وزرات خارجہ کو چند صفحات پر مبنی ایک دستاویز دی۔ جس میں امریکا کی طرف سے حقانی نیٹ ورک کی بڑی بڑی کارروائیوں کو پاکستان کے کھاتے میں دکھایا گیا ہے۔ یوں لگ رہا ہے کہ مولوی فضل اللہ کو اب پاکستان کے ساتھ حقانی نیٹ ورک کے معاملے پر پیشرفت کرنے کے لیے استعمال کیا جائے گا۔

مگر اس سلسلے میں  اس دبائو کو بھی نظر انداز نہیں کیا جا سکتا جو مولوی فضل اللہ کا تحریک طالبان کی کمانڈ سنبھالنے کے بعد اوباما انتظامیہ پر پڑ سکتا ہے چونکہ حکیم اللہ محسود کو مارنے پر واشنگٹن نے یہ نقطہ نظر اپنایا ہے کہ اس کے قتل سے انھوں نے پاکستان کی تحریک طالبان کے خلاف کارروائیوں میں حصہ ڈالا ہے جو ان کی طرف سے اچھی دوستی کا ثبوت ہے نہ کہ مذاکرات کو ناکام بنانے کی کوئی سازش۔ لہذا امریکا کو منطقی طور پر یہی فارمولا مولوی فضل اللہ سے متعلق بھی اپنانا ہو گا۔ بالخصوص ان حالات میں کہ جب تحریک طالبان کا یہ قائد افغانستان میں موجود ہے جس کی ہر طرح کی نقل و حرکت امریکا کے جدید ترین ریڈارز پر  چوبیس گھنٹے تصویروں کے ساتھ نظر آتی رہتی ہے۔ اگر پاکستان کی طرف سے مولوی ٖفضل اللہ کے خلاف امریکی مدد کا مطالبہ کیا جائے مگر مسترد ہو جائے تو واضح ہو جائے گا کہ اب تحریک طالبان کس کا اثاثہ بن گئی ہے۔ مگر مولوی فضل اللہ کو پکڑنے کا مطالبہ کرے گا کون؟ میاں محمد نواز شریف کی حکومت نے تحریک طالبان کو عملًا اپنا منہ بولا بھائی بنا لیا ہے۔ پاکستان تحریک انصاف پہلے سے ہی اس نظریاتی رشتے میں بندھی ہوئی ہے لہذا اس ماحول میں افغانستان کا تحریک طالبان کا اڈہ بنایا جانا موجودہ حکومت ہضم کرنے کی کو شش کرے گی۔

بہر حال اس کے باجود طالبان کے ساتھ بات چیت کے عمل کو آگے بڑھانے کی راہ میں موجود نئے مسائل سے دامن چھڑ انا ممکن نہیں ہو گا۔ ریاست کے عہدیداران کے مطابق مولوی فضل اللہ قانون کے تحت مطلوب اور ایک خطرناک مجرم ہے جو ایک غیر ملک میں بیٹھ کر وہاں کی انٹیلی جنس ایجنسیز کی مدد سے پاکستان کی سرزمین پر قتل و غارت گری کا مرتکب ہو رہا ہے۔ اگر ریاست پاکستان کا یہ موقف برقرار رہتا ہے تو فضل اللہ کی قیادت میں چلنے والی تنظیم سے ’’بھائی بندی‘‘ والی بات چیت آگے کیسے بڑھے گی؟ اس کا جواب وزیر اعظم نواز شریف اور عمران خان کو دینا ہو گا۔ اس دوران سوات کے اندر اضطراب اور خوف کی جس نئی لہر نے جنم لے لیا ہے اس پر توجہ دینے کی ضرورت ہے۔ مولوی فضل اللہ ایک ’’غیر اہم مفر ور‘‘ کے مقا م سے اٹھ کر تحریک طالبان کے قائد کی مسند پر جا بیٹھا ہے۔ وہ اس وقت وہ تمام بدلے چکا سکتا ہے جو اس سرزمین سے نکلتے وقت اس نے اپنے ذہن پر نقش کیے تھے۔

وہ بدلے کیسے ہوں گے، یہ سمجھنے کے لیے آپ کو اسلام آباد کی پرامن فضا اور لاہور کے باغات اور رونقوں سے باہر نکل کر سوات جانا ہو گا۔ یہاں کے باسی اِس سو چ میں پڑ ے ہوئے ہیں کہ اگر میاں نواز شریف، عمران خان اور مولوی فضل اللہ نے ایک ہی تصویر کے تین رخ بن جانا تھا تو ان کو نواز لیگ اور تحریک انصاف کے بجائے، تحریک نفاذ شریعت محمدی کو ہی اپنا سیاسی والی مان کر منتخب کر لینا چاہیے تھا۔ ایک خاتون یہ سوچ کر پریشان ہو رہی تھیں کہ ان کے خاندان نے خواہ مخواہ سواتی طالبان سے جھگڑا مول لیا اور اب حضرت مولانا فضل اللہ کابل، اسلام آباد، لاہور اور پشاور میں حاکم سیاسی قوتوں کے منظور نظر ہو کر مینگورہ کے بیچ اپنا پرانا دفتر دوبارہ کھولے گا تو کیا ہو گا؟ میں نے ان کا غم غلط کرنے کے لیے کوئی تجویز نہیں دی۔ نہ ہی تسلی کہ ایسا نہیں ہو گا۔ نواز لیگ اور تحریک انصاف کے حلقوں میں آجکل طالبان کی محبت عروج پر ہے۔ محبت میں سب کچھ کیا جا سکتا ہے۔

Putin Ends NATO Missile Pact, Orders Russian Army To “Prepare For War”

A sobering report prepared by the Ministry of Defense (MOD) circulating in the Kremlin today states that the 4 NATO F-16 fighter jets scrambled from Turkey hours ago to harass the Il-20 reconnaissance warplanes flying along Russia’s Black Sea coast on one of their routine daily missions was in direct retaliation over President Putin’s abrupt canceling of his cooperation with the North Atlantic Treaty Organization over missile defense yesterday.

According to this report, and confirmed by the Voice Of Russia News Service, in another powerful and significant move for peace, Putin cancelled a presidential order which in 2011, had set up an interdepartmental working group under the authority of the Russian Presidential Administration designed to develop ways to establish cooperation with NATO in the sphere of “missile defense”.

Many experts and NATO watchers familiar with the decree, and the attempts by the Russian Federation to develop an equal partnership relationship with NATO on the basis of mutual respect and transparency, may now breathe a collective sigh of relief that Putin has finally run out of patience with the alliance.

This MOD report further states that Putin’s “move for peace” against the US led NATO alliance is meant to show the West that he will “retaliate in force” against what he calls US President Obama’s “insane” plan for global tyranny that is even now threatening to destroy America and the European Union.

Even more grimly, this report continues, was Putin’s ordering the strategic forces to carry out a large-scale surprise military drill last Wednesday launching four nuclear missiles that were closely monitored by US intelligence agencies that included the test launch of two land-based intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) and two submarine-launched ballistic missiles (SLBMs).

In Putin’s further “preparation for war,” this MOD report says, he also ordered this past Friday that the two Tupolev Tu-160 Blackjack strategic nuclear bombers currently visiting South America to stay on indefinite patrol should they be needed to strike the United States.

Not just Putin is gravely concerned over Obama’s war moves either, this report continues, as China this past week joined Russia in overtly threatening the United States with nuclear retaliation.

In what this MOD report calls a “war move against the US,” China last week sent a surveillance ship to Hawaiian waters for the very first time in history in an unprecedented move described as a provocative retaliation to the US naval presence in the East China Sea, publicly revealed a view of its mysterious fleet of nuclear submarines, and its state-run media revealed for the first time that its nuclear submarines can, and will, attack American cities as a means to counterbalance US nuclear deterrence in the Pacific.

Of the greatest concern to both Russia and China regarding Obama this report says, is the American Presidents purging of nearly 200 high ranking US military officers, the latest being US Army Col Eric Tilley commander of the largest American base in Japan who was fired by Obama yesterday.

US sources commenting on this unprecedented purging of these officers are warning that in Obama’s America, the military must forsake their constitutional oath in favor of blind allegiance to their new commander.

To the effect(s) Obama’s purge is having upon the US military was recently described by the WND News Service which reports:

“Retired Army Maj. Gen. Patrick Brady, recipient of the U.S. military’s highest decoration, the Medal of Honor, as well as other top retired officers, say President Obama’s agenda is decimating the morale of the U.S. ranks to the point members no longer feel prepared to fight or have the desire to win.
“There is no doubt he (Obama) is intent on emasculating the military and will fire anyone who disagrees with him” over such issues as “homosexuals, women in foxholes, the Obama sequester,” Brady told WND.
“They are purging everyone, and if you want to keep your job, just keep your mouth shut,” one source told WND.”

Even more troubling about Obama, this MOD report warns, is that he now appears to be “descending into madness” as new evidence has emerged that he has ordered US military doctors to design innovative new methods of torture to be used against his enemies, and was quoted as gleefully exclaiming to his top aides, “I’m really good at killing people”.

As to how good at “killing people” Obama has become we noted in our 21 October report titled Evidence That 5 Million Americans Have Been “Disappeared” By Obama Shocks Russia and wherein it was noted how the current US regime is actively planning on eliminating at least 25 million of their dissident citizens.

As to why the vast majority of the American people still adhere to a policy of blind obedience to a leader descending into madness, and in turn threatening to destroy their nation, the Guardian News Service warns is due to the Obama regimes unprecedented attack on press freedoms and the news gathering process in the US which the Associated Press says relies on staged propaganda photos and the Obama regime conducting secret meetings with journalists, “psych-background” sessions, in which reporters were not allowed to record, take notes, or directly attribute remarks.

And in, perhaps, the Obama regimes cruelest move against its own people, indeed the whole world, this past week the Democrat Party controlled US Senate actually passed a bill that codifies and expands NSA spying powers even as the shock of what they have done still reverberates around the globe.

So today, and as our world falls ever closer towards all-out war, one of the few voices of honesty and reason left belongs to the NSA and former CIA spy Edward Snowden who yesterday from his home in Russian exile from the brutal and despotic Obama regime told his fellow Americans… “Citizens have to fight suppression of information on matters of vital public importance. To tell the truth is not a crime.”

Sadly, Snowden’s fellow Americans will not hear these words, nor know the grave danger they are in because of the Obama regime, because they are either too blind to see, or too deaf to hear…or more than likely, both.

China reveals its ability to Nuke the US

State-run media claims the Chinese military has missiles capable of hitting cities all across the U.S. China’s submarine fleet currently is on ‘routine patrol.’ According to Chinese media, this is the first time China has possessed ‘effective underwater nuclear deterrence against the United States’.

Chinese news agencies also reported on the Army’s lethal intentions should it ever use the nuclear weapons the submarines are capable of launching. ‘Because the Midwest states of the U.S. are sparsely populated, in order to increase the lethality, [our] nuclear attacks should mainly target the key cities on the West Coast of the United States, such as Seattle, Los Angeles, San Francisco and San Diego,’ the Global Times said. ‘The 12 JL-2 nuclear warheads carried by one single Type 094 SSBN can kill and wound 5 million to 12 million Americans.

But West Coast cities aren’t the only metropolitan areas in the U.S. that face the threat of a nuclear attack from the Chinese, according to the country’s state-run media. ‘If we launch our DF 31A ICBMs over the North Pole, we can easily destroy a whole list of metropolises on the East Coast and the New England region of the U.S., including Annapolis, Philadelphia, New York, Boston, Portland, Baltimore and Norfolk, whose population accounts for about one-eighth of America’s total residents,’ the Global Times said.

NATO confirms Kabul-Delhi Nexus Sponsoring Suicidal Bomb Attacks, Killings in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Amid some encouraging behind-the-scene developments in the dialogue process between the government and Taliban, Pakistan got an endorsement from the US-led Nato-ISAF top command about the existence of a nefarious Kabul-New Delhi nexus harbouring “safe havens” across the Durand Line. This nexus is being used for subversive activities inside Pakistan to derail the peace process.

The recent arrest of Latifullah Mehsud, the TTP’s second incommand, by the US forces and his subsequent interrogation has in particular badly exposed how Kabul has been fueling terrorism inside Pakistan by exploiting certain militant elements amongst the Pakistani Taliban.

Informed sources said that not only it has been confirmed that the recent attack on Maj General Sanaullah Khan Niazi and two other army men in Upper Dir was the work of Kabul and New Delhi but the later attacks on the Peshawar Church, in Qissa Khwani Bazaar and on an official bus of the Peshawar Secretariat were masterminded by the same nexus and by using the local militants.

Pakistani authorities have a lot to share in regard to the recent post-APC terrorist attacks but it is deliberately not making such information public to ensure that the peace process does not get derailed.

What is, however, seen as encouraging for Pakistan is the fact that the US-led Nato ISAF commanders have confirmed that there does exist “safe havens” across the Durand Line where some Pakistani militants are trained and equipped to launch subversive activities inside Pakistan.

The recent arrest of TTP’s second-in-command Latifullah Mehsud by the US-led Nato-troops and his subsequent interrogation has endorsed the Pakistani viewpoint on how the Kabul-New Delhi nexus was actively involved in terrorism inside Pakistan.

Shortly before his recent capture by the US-troops, it is said that Latifullah Mehsud had met key figures in Kabul, including top Afghan intelligence officials. According to reports, Latifullah Mehsud was arrested by American forces as he was driving along a main highway in eastern Logar province’s district of Mohammad Agha. It is said that American forces seized Mehsud while he was with the Afghan army.

Although, Pakistan has opted to keep silent on the issue, the New York Times on Wednesday reported how the US raid in Afghanistan exposed Kabul’s plan to turn the tables on the Pakistan Army.

The report said that a bungled attempt by the Afghan government to cultivate a shadowy alliance with Pakistani militants escalated into the latest flashpoint in the troubled relationship between Afghanistan and the US.

“Tipped off about the scheme, United States Special Forces raided an Afghan convoy that was ushering a senior Pakistani Taliban militant, Latif Mehsud, to Kabul for secret talks last month, and now have Mr Mehsud in custody,” the report said, adding: “Publicly, the Afghan government has described Mr Mehsud as an insurgent peace emissary. But according to Afghan officials, the ultimate plan was to take revenge on the Pakistani military.”

Kabul is really upset over this American forces raid and due to what a source called “singing” of Latif Mehsud. Aimal Faizi, a spokesman for Mr Karzai, is reported by the New York Times to have admitted, “Mr Mehsud had been in contact with officials from the National Directorate of Security, Afghanistan’s Intelligence agency, for ‘a long period of time’.”

“The Pakistani Taliban leader ‘was part of the NDS project like every other intelligence agency is doing,” Faizi said in an apparent reference to the support provided in the Afghan Taliban by Pakistani intelligence. He added, “He (Mehsud) was cooperating. He was engaged with the NDS — this I can confirm.”

These developments are an endorsement of Pakistan’s viewpoint that external hands are involved in terrorism and no less than Washington has now undeniable proofs, but for the sake of the dialogue process Islamabad is careful.

As hinted by the Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, groundwork for a formal initiation of the dialogue process has almost been completed and within the next few days some major development towards the dialogue process would take place.

Indirect contacts have already been established and those involved in the facilitation process sound optimistic. The government is keen to pursue the option of dialogue despite serious challenges and major hiccups whereas different militant groups are also prepared to positively respond to the government’s peace initiative.

To pre-empt conspiracies of those out to derail the peace process, not much is being made public. Though for others nothing has moved since the All Parties Conference, a lot has been happening behind the scenes and now the stage has come where a formal initiation of the dialogue process would be kickstarted.

Obamacare “Death Spiral” Warned Could Collapse Global Economy By February

A stunning Russian Ministry of Finance (MoF) report released today on the global impact of the recently implemented Affordable Care Act (ACA) [otherwise known as Obamacare] in the United States is warning that this new law is now in a “death spiral” which could, by February 2014, collapse the entire world’s economic system as the US Federal Reserve would not be able to bail out its European Union (EU) counterpart central banks as it had done with the over $80 billion in secret loans given to them after the 2007-2008 financial crisis due to this laws “massive failure.”

According to this report, Obamacare was enacted to increase the quality and affordability of US health insurance, lower the uninsured rate by expanding public and private insurance coverage, and reduce the costs of healthcare for individuals and the government in an area which encompasses nearly 20% of the entire American gross domestic product (GDP).

What Obamacare has, instead, accomplished, this report says, is an unprecedented soaring in price of US health insurance, the dumping by American insurance companies of hundreds of thousands of previously insured people, and the skyrocketing of healthcare costs for everyone.

So grim has Obamacare become, this report continues, the highly respected Kaiser Health News reported this week that up to another 14 million Americans will lose their private healthcare because their policies fall short of what the this law requires starting 1 January 2014.

Even worse, this report says, and as the MoF quotes from US sources, tens of millions of Americans have started losing their jobs because of Obamacare with tens of millions more being shifted to part-time from full-time work due to this laws “inflexible mandates.”

In one of the many examples contained in this report of what Obamacare is truly costing these people, this MoF report details, is one American mothers experience in obtaining new health insurance for her family as reported by The News Virginian, and which, in part, says:

“So, she was stunned when she found out what her new insurance policy would cost.
The Highmark representative explained that her new policy had to meet all the requirements of the Affordable Care Act (ObamaCare). It would have to cover things she does not want or need — such as mental health problems, substance abuse and maternity care.
She asked the representative to help her choose a policy similar to what she had. The closest match he could find was a comprehensive PPO policy.
Her deductible would go from $1,200 to $1,500 per person, but her family deductible would increase from $2,400 to $5,000.
Her 90-percent copay would rise to 80 percent. Instead of being responsible for only 10 percent of her medical bills, after the deductible is met, she would be responsible for 20 percent. Her maximum out-of-pocket costs would soar from $2,000, after deductibles, to $12,000.
Her premium would go from $400 to $884 per month — an increase of almost $6,000 per year.
If she or one of her children were to get ill, as her husband did, her out-of-pocket costs would run about $24,000 a year.”

And not just to the known costs of Obamacare will these Americans be subjected to either, this report continues, but also to what the Forbes News Service warned this week will be the “next shoe to drop” and involves the “hidden costs” of this law that will impact “those who actually use their healthcare insurance, especially people with catastrophic medical bills.”

To how many people have actually signed up for Obamacare, this report continues, is an “unknowable equation” as the US government website (Healthcare.gov) Americans need access to purchase these outlandishly expensive health insurance polices from has experienced what has been called a “perfect storm IT meltdown” with over 500 million lines of computer code possibly needed to be completely rewritten.

As to whom is responsible for this “perfect storm IT meltdown” of the Obamacare website, this report says, is first due to the French Canadian software computer company the Obama regime contracted with for over $500 million to build its signature piece online insurance “marketplace,” Conseillers en Gestion et Informatique (CGI), and who was terminated in September 2012 by an Ontario government health agency after the firm missed three years of deadlines and failed to deliver the province’s flagship online medical registry.

Second to blame for the Obamacare websites massive failure, this report continues, is the Obama regime itself who, according to the Forbes News Service, designed it in order to keep the American people from knowing the true and full costs of the insurance polices they were being required to purchase.

As to the cost of these new Obamacare polices, this report says, they are divided into categories listed as “Bronze” “Silver” “Gold” and “Platinum,” with the average price per month for an American family aged 30 (insuring a father, mother and two children) costing between $818.16 and $1,071.39 and all of the plans covering the same benefits and capping annual out-of-pocket expenses at $6,350 for an individual, $12,700 for families.

Of the greatest danger Obamacare is to the US economy, this report warns, are exactly these astronomical costs associated with these polices in a nation whose real (U-7) unemployment rate is 15.63%, has 25 million of its citizens that can’t get full time jobs, and, most shockingly, has reported that a record 90,609,000 of its workers have dropped out of work force entirely.

As to exactly how these under and unemployed Americans are supposed to afford these polices under Obamacare, this report says, no one in the American government is saying, or able to say. This cannot be said, however, of the US insurance companies themselves, this report concludes, who this past week warned that Obamacare is now (or soon will be) in what they call a “death spiral” due to healthy young people not signing up due to “high cost and complication of access” which in turn will cause those who have signed up to see their premiums soar even higher.

To the US governments response to all of this was, perhaps, best summed up by the Insurance Journal News Service who said this week that Obama regime “has decided to triple down on the “burn the boats” strategy pioneered by Hernan Cortes in his conquest of Mexico: Make a total commitment in the hopes that this will somehow enable you to overcome impossible odds.”

And to the greatest danger of Obamacare’s cost to the global economic system, this reports summation warns, is that the US debt ceiling, suspended last week until 7 February 2014, and which in the past week alone has surged to over $17 trillion for the first time in American history, will leave the Federal Reserve, that has accumulated an unprecedented balance sheet of more than $3.6 trillion (equal to the amount spent by Obama on welfare) from its scam printing money strategy, unable to bail out the world again when the next crisis hits.

Saudi Arabia severs diplomatic ties with US over response to conflict in Syria

Upset at President Barack Obama's policies on Iran and Syria, members of Saudi Arabia's ruling family are threatening a rift with the United States that could take the alliance between Washington and the kingdom to its lowest point in years.

Saudi Arabia's intelligence chief is vowing that the kingdom will make a 'major shift' in relations with the United States to protest perceived American inaction over Syria's civil war as well as recent U.S. overtures to Iran, a source close to Saudi policy said on Tuesday.

Prince Bandar bin Sultan told European diplomats that the United States had failed to act effectively against Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, was growing closer to Tehran, and had failed to back Saudi support for Bahrain when it crushed an anti-government revolt in 2011, the source said.

'The shift away from the U.S. is a major one,' the source close to Saudi policy said. 'Saudi doesn't want to find itself any longer in a situation where it is dependent.'

It was not immediately clear whether the reported statements by Prince Bandar, who was the Saudi ambassador to Washington for 22 years, had the full backing of King Abdullah.

The growing breach between the United States and Saudi Arabia was also on display in Washington, where another senior Saudi prince criticized Obama's Middle East policies, accusing him of 'dithering' on Syria and Israeli-Palestinian peace.

 

In unusually blunt public remarks, Prince Turki al-Faisal called Obama's policies in Syria 'lamentable' and ridiculed a U.S.-Russian deal to eliminate Assad's chemical weapons. He suggested it was a ruse to let Obama avoid military action in Syria.

'The current charade of international control over Bashar's chemical arsenal would be funny if it were not so blatantly perfidious. And designed not only to give Mr. Obama an opportunity to back down (from military strikes), but also to help Assad to butcher his people,' said Prince Turki, a member of the Saudi royal family and former director of Saudi intelligence.

The United States and Saudi Arabia have been allies since the kingdom was declared in 1932, giving Riyadh a powerful military protector and Washington secure oil supplies.

The Saudi criticism came days after the 40th anniversary of the October 1973 Arab oil embargo imposed to punish the West for supporting Israel in the Yom Kippur war.

That was one of the low points in U.S.-Saudi ties, which were also badly shaken by the September 11, 2001, attacks on the United States. Most of the 9/11 hijackers were Saudi nationals.

Saudi Arabia gave a clear sign of its displeasure over Obama's foreign policy last week when it rejected a coveted two-year term on the U.N. Security Council in a display of anger over the failure of the international community to end the war in Syria and act on other Middle East issues.

Prince Turki indicated that Saudi Arabia will not reverse that decision, which he said was a result of the Security Council's failure to stop Assad and implement its own decision on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

'There is nothing whimsical about the decision to forego membership of the Security Council. It is based on the ineffectual experience of that body,' he said in a speech to the Washington-based National Council on U.S.-Arab Relations.

In London, U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry said he discussed Riyadh's concerns when he met Foreign Minister Saud al-Faisal in Paris on Monday.

Kerry said he told the Saudi minister no deal with Iran was better than a bad deal. 'I have great confidence that the United States and Saudi Arabia will continue to be the close and important friends and allies that we have been,' Kerry told reporters.

Prince Bandar is seen as a foreign policy hawk, especially on Iran. The Sunni Muslim kingdom's rivalry with Shi'ite Iran, an ally of Syria, has amplified sectarian tensions across the Middle East.
A son of the late defense minister and crown prince, Prince Sultan, and a protégé of the late King Fahd, he fell from favor with King Abdullah after clashing on foreign policy in 2005.

But he was called in from the cold last year with a mandate to bring down Assad, diplomats in the Gulf say. Over the past year, he has led Saudi efforts to bring arms and other aid to Syrian rebels.

'Prince Bandar told diplomats that he plans to limit interaction with the U.S.,' the source close to Saudi policy said.

This happens after the U.S. failed to take any effective action on Syria and Palestine. Relations with the U.S. have been deteriorating for a while, as Saudi feels that the U.S. is growing closer with Iran and the U.S. also failed to support Saudi during the Bahrain uprising," the source said.

The source declined to provide more details of Bandar's talks with the diplomats, which took place in the past few days.

But he suggested that the planned change in ties between the energy superpower and the United States would have wide-ranging consequences, including on arms purchases and oil sales.

Saudi Arabia, the world's biggest oil exporter, ploughs much of its earnings back into U.S. assets. Most of the Saudi central bank's net foreign assets of $690 billion are thought to be denominated in dollars, much of them in U.S. Treasury bonds.

'All options are on the table now, and for sure there will be some impact,' the Saudi source said.

He said there would be no further coordination with the United States over the war in Syria, where the Saudis have armed and financed rebel groups fighting Assad.

The kingdom has informed the United States of its actions in Syria, and diplomats say it has respected U.S. requests not to supply the groups with advanced weaponry that the West fears could fall into the hands of al Qaeda-aligned groups.

Saudi anger boiled over after Washington refrained from military strikes in response to a poison gas attack in Damascus in August when Assad agreed to give up his chemical weapons arsenal.

Representative Chris Van Hollen, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives' Democratic leadership, told Reuters' Washington Summit on Tuesday that the Saudi moves were intended to pressure Obama to take action in Syria.

'We know their game. They're trying to send a signal that we should all get involved militarily in Syria, and I think that would be a big mistake to get in the middle of the Syrian civil war,' Van Hollen said.

'And the Saudis should start by stopping their funding of the al Qaeda-related groups in Syria. In addition to the fact that it's a country that doesn't allow women to drive,' said Van Hollen, who is close to Obama on domestic issues in Congress but is less influential on foreign policy.

Saudi Arabia is concerned about signs of a tentative reconciliation between Washington and Tehran, something Riyadh fears may lead to a 'grand bargain' on the Iranian nuclear program that would leave Riyadh at a disadvantage.

Prince Turki expressed doubt that Obama would succeed in what he called an 'open arms approach' to Iran, which he accused of meddling in Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq and Bahrain.

'We Saudis observe President Obama's efforts in this regard. The road ahead is arduous,' he said. 'Whether (Iranian President Hassan) Rouhani will succeed in steering Iran toward sensible policies is already contested in Iran. The forces of darkness in Qom and Tehran are well entrenched.'

The U.N. Security Council has been paralyzed over the 31-month-old Syria conflict, with permanent members Russia and China repeatedly blocking measures to condemn Assad.

Saudi Arabia backs Assad's mostly Sunni rebel foes. The Syrian leader, whose Alawite sect is derived from Shi'ite Islam, has support from Iran and the armed Lebanese Shi'ite movement Hezbollah. The Syrian leader denounces the insurgents as al Qaeda-linked groups backed by Sunni-ruled states.

In Bahrain, home of the U.S. Fifth Fleet, a simmering pro-democracy revolt by its Shi'ite majority has prompted calls by some in Washington for U.S. ships to be based elsewhere.

Many U.S. economic interests in Saudi Arabia involve government contracts in defense, other security sectors, health care, education, information technology and construction.
