Rangers raid Sohrab Goth, several suspects arrested; Large Weapons Cache, Drugs seized

Rangers rounded up several suspects during search operation in Sohrab Goth on Wednesday. According to the media reports, the rangers officials surrounded Al Asif Square and other nearby buildings early Wednesday morning and launched hunt for suspects. Many suspected including Afghan nationals and other foreigners were arrested during the operation. A huge cache of weapons and drugs were also recovered from their possessions. Women commandoes also accompanied rangers’ men in the house-to-house search. Several suspected persons were detained and shifted to undisclosed location for questioning.

12 Terrorists arrested in Karachi including 3 target killers

According to some of the latest reports coming from Karachi, during a successful raid against the anti-Pakistan assets involved in Karachi violence, Pakistan Rangers and Police have arrested at least a dozen criminals, including 3 alleged highly notorious target killers. The arrests were made during a search operation in different areas of Karachi. Special Investigation Police has claimed to arrest an alleged target killer Shahroz from Lines area. According to police, the arrested criminal has confessed to murdering five people. It is important to note that in the recent days, a large number of Israhell made weapons had been seized from Karachi gangsters which gives rise to the evident chances of Israhell's direct involvement in destabilizing Pakistan which is the only Ideological enemy of the Bastard State of Israhell.

Major Gen. Ijaz reposted as DG Rangers Sindh

Maj Gen Ijaz who was removed as DG Rangers Sindh on the orders of the Supreme Court following killing of teenager Sarfraz Shah at the hands of Rangers troops in a park in Karachi has been re-posted as DG Rangers Sindh. The SC had ordered immediate transfer of Maj Gen Ijaz, and his services were placed at the disposal of the federal government. The federal government on Monday notified him back as DG Rangers Sindh. The Rangers troops who shot Sarfraz dead have all been convicted by a court. The main accused has been sentenced to death while the rest to life in jail.

Rangers successfully complete operation in Lyari - 20 arrested, 2 torture cells unearthed

Rangers’ search operation in Lyari ended successfully on Sunday with 20 arrests and closure of torture cells. Heavy contingents of Rangers took part in the 6-hour operation launched in the early hours. The operation particularly focused on Nauabad and Baghdadi neighbourhoods of Lyari. Twenty suspects have been arrested in the operation while two torture cells have been shut. After the culmination of the operation, the Rangers let media representatives see the torture cells first hand. One cell was underground while the other was on a first floor in the same area. Chains, cellar tapes for gags, ropes and some documents were seen lying scattered in the torture cells.

In addition, Rangers found a huge cache of arms in a house. The arms were hidden in a ditch in the house, which the Rangers dug out and seized. The Rangers credited credible intelligence for the success of the search operation. Ealsewhere in the city of Karachi, at least two dead bodies were found in different areas, while a cracker blast was also reported. The bodies were stuffed in gunny bags, a mark of target killers who have either been shooting people dead randomly or dumping dead bodies after abductions. One body was found in Baldia Town and another in Sadar. Rangers have been deployed at entrance and exit points of Lyari. The Rangers have started snap checking in different areas.

Chief Justice orders to remove Sindh IG, DG Rangers

The Chief Justice of Supreme Court of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry ordered to remove Sindh IG Police and Sindh DG Rangers. The Supreme Court took sou moto notice on Thursday of the killing of a youth, Sarfaraz, by rangers’ men on Wednesday in Sheheed Benazir Bhutto public park situated in Boat Basin, Karachi.

During his remarks, CJP Chaudhry condemning the killing said that both the officials should resign. Sindh IG Fayaz Leghari told the apex court that Sarfaraz died in the hospital during the treatment. The CJP replied to police official that he was misguiding the court.
