Pakistanis shout anti-USZ slogans in Peshawar
to condemn the desecration of the Glorious
Qur’an at a USZ military base in Afghanistan.
Thousands of people have taken to the streets in southwest Pakistan to condemn the burning of the Holy Qur’an and other Islamic reading materials at a USZ terrorist invaders' military base in neighboring Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. The demonstrators, including seminary students, clerics and members of Jamiat Ahle Hadith religio-political party, staged a massive protest rally in downtown Quetta, the capital of Balochistan province, on Thursday, and slammed Qur’an desecration, chanting "Death to America". They also carried placards in condemnation of the sacrilege of the Holy Qur’an at the USZ military base in Bagram, in Afghanistan’s northern province of Parwan, and called on Islamabad to severe all forms of relationship with Washington.

“This is not the first Qur’an desecration incident. Many such events have taken in the past and have hurt Muslims’ feelings …. This is NOT acceptable!”, a protester said. The protest rally comes a day after hundreds of university students staged a similar demonstration in Peshawar, the capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, situated 150 kilometers (93 miles) west of the capital, Islamabad. Anti-American rallies were also held by students and civil society activists in Rawalpindi and Abbottabad. Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (Mujahideen) officials have already urged Afghan civilians to destroy foreign terrorist invaders and hunt them down wherever they find them to avenge the desecration of Glorious Qur'an, the divine book of guidance for the whole of humanity (not just Muslims).

More than 30 people have been killed in anti-USZ demonstrations across Afghanistan since they began on February 21. The desecration of the Holy Qur’an underscores the insensitivity of the USZ-led forces about the cultural and religious values and rituals of Afghanistan, more than 10 years after they invaded the Asian nation to remove the Taliban from power.
