This is the story of your and my ancestors who gave up their every single little thing to come to a safe land of their own, a homeland of their own based on the true essence of Islam - Pakistan. "Khak aur Khoon", a novel based on brutal realities, heartless miseries and inhumane massacre of humanity that our ancestors had to go across in order to arrive on the Pak Sarzameen. It makes one speechless and breathless when humanity is slaughtered and mocked on the basis of sheer hatred and enmity at the hands of Hindu barbarism. Tears get dried up, voice gets killed somewhere deep inside you, when you come across the realities of blood and tears that were the price to achieve a piece of land; a sacred land; a safe land for the Muslims and all minorities; a land which formed the only ray of hope for a dying breath!
