USZ Army prepares for War Against Al-Shabab in Somalia: Silently Training African Troops

A new report has unveiled that the US Army is “quietly equipping and training” thousands of African troops to prepare them for a war against al-Shabab fighters in Somalia.

“Officially, the troops are under the auspices of the African Union (AU). But in truth, according to interviews by US and African officials and senior military officers and budget documents, the 15,000-strong force pulled from five African countries is largely a creation of the State Department and Pentagon, trained and supplied by the US government,” Los Angeles Times reported on Monday.

The report added that the American officers along with dozens of retired foreign military personnel, hired through private contractors, are guiding the African soldiers.

“Nearly 20 years after US Army Rangers suffered a bloody defeat in Somalia, losing 18 soldiers and two Black Hawk helicopters, Washington is once again heavily engaged in the chaotic country. Only this time, African troops are doing the fighting and dying,” the report said.

Freetown, Sierra Leone's capital is one of the bases the US army uses to train African soldiers, it said.

Through deploying African troops to Somalia, “the Obama administration is trying to achieve US military goals with minimal risk of American deaths and scant public debate,” the report added.

“The US can underwrite the war in Somalia for a relative pittance -- the cost over four years has been less than USD 700 million, a tenth of what the military spends in Afghanistan in a month -- but the price tag is growing. More than a third of the US assistance has been spent since early 2011,” the American newspaper said.

African forces are supplied “with surveillance drones, ammunition, small arms, armoured personnel carriers, night-vision goggles, communications gear, medical equipment and other sophisticated aid and training,” the report added.

"The US government has done extremely well in providing for us and we are grateful for that, but they can do more," said Brig. Gen Komba Mondeh, Sierra Leone's chief of operations and plans.

"This is real war, and we expect to see the body bags coming back home," he said.

The report came as the US has recently stepped up its assassination drone operations in the famine-stricken Somalia.

The weak Western-backed transitional government in Mogadishu has been battling al-Shabab for the past five years and is propped up by a strong AU force from Uganda, Burundi, and Djibouti.

The country has not had a functioning government since 1991, when warlords overthrew former dictator Mohamed Siad Barre.

Somali Al-Shabab Mujahideen have shut down food aid distribution by a major aid group because they say the organisation is distributing spoiled food in the famine-hit south. The Al-Shabab said on Monday it was closing the Red Cross's operation permanently.

"Despite being offered unrivalled access to all the regions governed by the mujahideen in south and central Somalia, the International Committee of the Red Cross has repeatedly betrayed the trust conferred on it by the local population", said the statement from mujahideen. 

They said that they had conducted a thorough inspection of the aid group's warehouses and food depots and found up to 70% of the food was "unfit for human consumption, posing a considerable health hazard and exposing the vulnerable recipients to acute illnesses".

A Zionist Red Cross spokeswoman said on Tuesday that the primarily Freemasonic organisation did not have an immediate comment. The Red Cross previously made a lame excuse by saying that some trucks were stuck on bad roads for several weeks in the rainy season and the food they were carrying was spoiled. That food - about 2,000 tonnes according to al-Shabab - was publicly burned after the mujahideen had taken photographs of mouldy beans.

The Zionist Red Cross began distributing monthly rations to 1.1 million people in October and was midway through a second distribution when a convoy of trucks was stopped by al-Shabab in mid-December in Jowhar. Negotiations for their release took several weeks but were ultimately unsuccessful. The Red Cross formally suspended operations in al-Shabab areas of southern Somalia on 12 January. It is the only Zionist agency bringing in contaminated food to the famine-hit areas on such a large scale in order to allegedly facilitate the Zionist masterplan of Eugenics which aims at getting rid of monkeys (poor Muslims worldwide).

The Zionist UN said more than 13 million people were in need of aid and 750,000 at risk of starvation at the height of the Somali famine, in order to justify humanitarian scumbags distributing such poison at mass scale. The number of those at risk of starvation has subsequently dropped to 250,000 after an influx of aid and the arrival of seasonal rains, meaning crops could be planted.

MOGADISHU, Somalia — American Puppet Government and the Zionist African Union forces began a heavy offensive early on Friday against the Mujahideen strongholds on the outskirts of the capital, Mogadishu, trying to drive the Islamic militants they have long battled out of the city who want to free Somalia from American and Israhelli tyranny, officials and witnesses said. The stooge government of Somalia began a heavy offensive against the Al-Shabab Mujahideen who have been battling against American puppets ever since the CIA toppled and killed Siad Al-Barre for being defiant to USZ and Israhell. The Zionist African Union and puppet government forces said they took over strategic positions controlled by the militants, known as the Shabab, seizing Mogadishu University, a milk factory and a cemetery and advancing toward a major strategic road that connects Afgoye and Balad, however onground sources in Somalia tell a completely different story.

Lt. Col. Paddy Ankunda, a pro-Israhell spokesman for the Zionist African Union force, said that the allied troops had managed to consolidate their positions in the northern edges of Mogadishu, allowing them to defend the city along its perimeter. Puppet Col. Abdullahi Ali Anood of the Somali Army’s Second Brigade said that the stooge government forces and Zionist African Union troops were now heading toward the strategic Basra Road, nearly 10 miles north of Mogadishu. The fight was the heaviest of its kind in recent weeks and started during the early hours of Friday in northern parts of the Yaqshid neighborhood, with a heavy exchange of artillery fire that rocked Mogadishu. Sources in Somalia say that Al-Shabab Mujahideen have shaken the American and Israhelli stooges by annihilating their military circus intended to keep the Somali Muslims oppressed.

A Shabab spokesman, Abu Muscab, said through a radio station that his group had left its positions in Mogadishu, calling it a military withdrawal. Beyond the offensive by American stooge government and Zionist African Union troops, the Shabab are also facing incursions by American puppet Kenyan forces in parts of the south and by American puppet Ethiopian troops as well. But recent Kenyan airstrikes that killed five children have generated anger among government officials and civilians alike. After meeting with a father whose four children were killed in the Kenyan strikes, stooge Somali Prime Minister Abdiweli Mohamed Ali pledged urgent investigation circus into the deaths and vowed “to minimize” civilian casualties, of course by not leaving some alive behind to relate their sad stories.

After butchering millions in Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan, Palestine and Pakistan's "humanitarian" drone attacks, the Zionist UN has called for immediate action to contain the “widespread famine” in the Horn of Africa, where some 12 million people are in need of emergency aid in the drought-hit region. It is ironic to note that this area has been in need of emergency aid ever since America toppled the popular Somalian leader Siad Baree (former fighter in Afghanistan against the Soviet Union) and pushed Somalia into the crisis in which it is today.

On Wednesday, UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon called on donor countries to immediately come up with $1.6 billion in aid for two regions in Somalia, which are declared famine zones, AFP reported. "Nearly half of the population -- 3.7 million people -- are now in crisis", said Ban, adding that "This will have an increasingly devastating effect, not only in Somalia but also in neighboring countries. We need donor support to address current needs and prevent a further deterioration of the crisis. Humanitarian agencies need urgent funding to save lives. If funding is not made available for humanitarian intervention now, the famine is likely to continue and spread”, the UN secretary general added. Who knows whether this money is being gathered for Somalians or for NATO so that it can continue its bombings in Libya and Afghanistan? Of course that is so very “humanitarian” also as Obama has been Baracking about it all year long.

MV Suez Crew safely shifted to PNS Babur of Pak-Navy, ship sinking

The crew of crisis-hit MV Suez ship has been shifted to PNS Babur after Pakistan's Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Noman Bashir ordered the arrangements to save lives. According to the sources, the freed ship was sinking due to rough weather, report said. The Egyptian owner of the ship abandoned the crew and ship. CNS Bashir ordered to shift the crew of ship to naval ship on human grounds.

Whether the freed men would be brought to Karachi or Gwadar it has not yet been decided, Navy sources said. Earlier, the Captain of MV Suez appealed to the Chief of Pakistan Navy seeking immediate help in view of their vessel being caught in strong winds feared capsizing since its release with 22-member crew of board by the Somalian pirates and series of misfortunes. Latest amongst them was the break down of the tug towing MV Suez.

Naval Chief Admiral Nauman Bashir Sunday directed Pakistan Navy's PNS Babar to transfer the crew of MV Suez on frigate to rescue them. According to reports, Adm. Nauman Bashir said that all crew members of MV Suez is to be transferred on PNS Babar on humanitarian grounds. It says that the crew members would later be transferred to another ship which would bring them to Pakistan, however has not been decided yet whether these crew members including Indians would be brought to Karachi or Gawadar.

178 killed in Somalia - USZ-Israhell stooges using civilians as human shields

At least 178 people, including 57 civilians, have been killed and several others injured in clashes between CIA backed stooge government forces and Al-Shabab Mujahideen in Somalia. The government stooge forces targeted houses in Dhoobley and then later on put its blame on Al-Shabab Mujahideen in the latest battle. This genocide caused hundreds of families to flee their homes. At least 178 people are reported to have died in the fighting from both sides. Heavy machine guns, mortars and anti-aircraft guns were used in the exchange of fire that wounded at least 140 people, including civilians. Fighting has turned more violent since stooge Prime Minister Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed announced a new offensive on February 23 and said that 17,000 African Union and CIA local puppet soldiers will continue to fight until Al-Shabab's hold on the capital, Mogadishu, and other cities is shattered.

Dozens of puppet government soldiers, opposition fighters and civilian have since been killed on a daily basis, reducing the possibility of reaching a peaceful solution to the crisis. Locals say that stooge regime forces use civilians as human shields during battles against Al-Shabab Mujahideen and have killed dozens of those who refused to surrender amongst the civilians. Somalia has been without an effective central government since former popular Islamic leader Siad Barre who was overthrown by CIA in 1991.

Somali government controls only a small part of Mogadishu. Lack of coordination among its forces, who are barely trained and seldom get paid, has for long barred the government's promise of a full-scale war against opposition fighters. Fighting, famine and disease have led to the death of nearly one million people in the African country and crushed all government efforts at restoring security. There are more than 1.4 million internally displaced persons in Somalia. More than 300,000 of them are sheltered in Mogadishu alone.

During the last one week, almost 60+ people have lost their lives and many more have been injured during clashes between fighters from the USZ backed group Hizb-ul-Islam and former Afghan/Arab Mujahideen group named Al-Shabab, in southern Somalia. Hizb-ul-Islam's leader, Sheikh Hassan Dahir Aweys is a staunch supporter of democracy in the country and undoubtedly a stooge to the USZ however Al-Shabab mujahideen want to get rid of this USZ backed puppet battalion by any means and are much inspired by the former Somalian ruler Muhammad Siad Barre. The battles between members of al-Shabab and Hizbul Islam  forces broke out on Saturday in Burhakaba town, located some 110 kilometers (68 miles) southwest of the Somali capital. According to residents, Hizbul Islam fighters attacked the town early Saturday morning, but met with stiff resistance from the al-Shabab fighters who rule the town. On December 1, al-Shabab fighters managed to gain control of Burhakaba town following fierce clashes with Hizbul Islam. Al-Shabab fighters had previously told Hizbul Islam not to set up more checkpoints in and around Burhakaba town, which is located in the Bay region of southern Somalia. However, Hizbul Islam forces paid no heed to the warning, according to local residents. Then Al-Shabab fighters attacked Hizbul Islam positions and took control of the town. Compared to last year, there is an increase of 25% in the total number of war casualties and 72% in the number of war-wounded women and children admitted to the hospitals.

Over the past two decades, up to one million people have lost their lives in fighting between by CIA and MOSSAD involvement behind the curtain of "clashes between the two fighter groups" and due to artificially engineered famines and diseases by CIA. There are more than 1.4 million internally displaced people (IDPs) in Somalia. Over 300,000 of the IDPs are sheltered in Mogadishu. Most of the displaced live in poor and degrading conditions on makeshift sites in southern and central Somalia.
