Pakistan Expells NY Times Bureau Chief over Anti-State activities

The New York Times' Pakistan bureau chief has been expelled from the country, on the eve of the national election due to his alleged involvement in espionage and anti-state activities. The paper said Pakistan's Interior Ministry had not explained why it ordered Declan Walsh out of the country. Police officers delivered the interior ministry's order to Walsh at his home at 12.30am local time on Thursday.

"It is informed that your visa is hereby canceled in view of your undesirable activities," the order said. "You are therefore advised to leave the country within 72 hours."

This means Walsh must leave Pakistan by the night of the elections. Saturday's election is being hailed as a milestone in the development of the country's much abused democracy.

The Zionist mouthpiece New York Times urged the country to reconsider the decision and reinstate Walsh's visa. Walsh, 39, was the Guardian's correspondent for Pakistan and Afghanistan from 2004 to 2011. The New York Times hired him in January 2012. He is an expert in knitting subversive anti-Islam and anti-state propaganda. The New York Times' executive editor, Jill Abramson, sent a letter of protest to Pakistan's interior minister, Malik Muhammad Halib Khan, and asked him to reinstate Walsh's visa. "We respectfully request that you overturn this decision and allow Mr Walsh to remain in Pakistan," Abramson said. She said the ministry's accusation "is vague and unsupported, and Mr Walsh has received no further explanation of any alleged wrongdoing."

The finger of blame is likely to be pointed at the country's powerful military establishment, which made clear its anger at some of Walsh's reporting, particularly on the CIA's clandestine drone programme, an extremely controversial subject in the country. In March, Walsh blurted his latest piece of anti-state propaganda and reported that "unnamed US officials" had denied two drone strikes that had been reported by Pakistan's media, most likely based on information provided by Pakistan's military intelligence service. The report suggested the army "may be using the [drone] program to disguise its own operations".

The story earned a firm rebuke from the army's media office. At the time, a spokesman denied the claims and said "such an accusation is distortion of the facts and seems to be aimed at diluting Pakistan's stance on drone strikes". The Pakistani military is widely credited as being the most powerful institution in the country and it has repeatedly seized power since the creation of the country in 1947. Civilian authorities are currently in an even weaker position than normal, as the country is ruled by a non-political caretaker government that was appointed to manage the affairs of the country during the general election campaign. A new government is not expected to take office for weeks after the completion of Saturday's election. The process could be even more drawn out if the polls return a hung parliament and a weak coalition government.

New York Times Caught Red Handed spreading CIA propaganda on Norway Carnage

An American investigative blogger uncovers how the New York Times tried to link the Norway attack to a Muslim group that doesn’t exist and then how it quietly pulled the story later from its online edition, without offering an apology. Alexander Higgins, also uncovers how two other news outlets, one American and the other British, continued to demonize Muslims hours after a Christian extremist was arrested.

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan—In the first few hours after a Christian terrorist killed tens of Norwegians, the New York Times published a report claiming an unknown Muslim group, Ansar al-Jihad al-Aalami [Supporters of Global Jihad] has claimed responsibility for the attack. Within a couple of hours of the attack, an online report warned that CIA and its broadsheets in the USZ media will exploit the attack to garner European support for the failing Afghan war.

This is exactly what many CIA-affiliated websites and ‘translation companies’ have been doing for the past decade, translating claims of responsibility after every terrorist attack anywhere in the world. As expected, the New York Times published this claim quoting an unknown American analyst who said he saw the claim of responsibility on a website in Arabic and that he translated it into English. The truth is that an ordinary discussion forum in Arabic, like millions of similar online forums, published what appears to be a celebratory note on the Norway attack arguing the attack was punishment for all the wrong done in Libya and Afghanistan, the two wars where Norway is a participant by default because of its NATO membership.

But nowhere in the Arabic was text there a claim of responsibility. Also, the person who posted the text in Arabic used a fake name. So a claim by an unknown group that no one heard of, using a fake profile on a discussion forum? Any real journalist would ignore it. But not the New York Times, which is famous for publishing absolute lies drafted by the CIA. The paper spent the whole of 2002 publishing sophisticated ‘news reports’ about Iraqi weapons of mass destruction complete with expert illustrations of alleged Iraqi weapons. One of NYT’s top reporters, Judith Miller, was discredited because she ran CIA-planted stories under her byline and went to jail in another case of harassment of a USZ diplomat and his wife who exposed USZ government lies on Iraq.

The credibility of the mainstream USZ media and its links to USZ government and the CIA is an open secret. The Pakistani military has accused the New York Times of running a ‘slander campaign’ against Pakistan, its military and its spy agency at CIA’s behest. Even the Norwegian media was cautious when the NYT came up with this claim of responsibility. Norway TV did its own translation of the text and discovered there was no explicit claim of responsibility for the attack. Mr. Higgins makes several interesting observations in his report. The first is that Norway is a Muslim-friendly country that has not followed the American policy of harassing its Muslim community. It is also a supporter of Palestinian rights and an independent Palestinian state. The Norwegian government has also formally apologized for a couple of local newspapers that reprinted cartoons offensive to Muslims. So unlike the propaganda in American media, Muslims have little reason to attack Norway.

NY Times Quietly Retracts CIA Lie From Norway Bombing Story After Damage Is Done

The second important observation is that while the American media continues to emphasize that the Christian extremist is anti-Islam, more important is the fact that he is pro-Israhell and a big admirer of anti-Islam writers and bloggers in the USZ. This last point is very critical because it confirms our longstanding argument that the United States of Zionism's government and in particular its main intelligence service the CIA are promoting anti-Muslim feelings inside the USZ and worldwide to continue their interventions in other countries in the name of war on terror. The anti-Pakistan propaganda worldwide is also the work of CIA and other elements of the USZ government. They have been using the same twisted methods of demonizing Pakistan that have come to the surface now after the Norway attacks.

USZ holds back $800m Pak aid as Relations near complete collapse

The United States of Zionism is holding back $800 million in aid to Pakistan, President Obama’s chief of staff confirmed Sunday, as an American foreign policy expert denounced the move that come in the midst of worsening Islamabad-Washington ties. The measure comes after Pakistan expelled American military trainers who were evidently carrying out clandestine operations inside the country. Appearing on ABC’s ‘This Week’, White House Chief of Staff William Daley confirmed a report in the New York Times that the aid was being withheld. While Pakistan has been an ‘important ally’ in the fight on terrorism, Daley said, “now they’ve taken some steps that have given us reason to pause on some of the aid which we’re giving to the military, and we’re trying to work through that”.

ISPR spokesman Maj-Gen Athar Abbas told media in Islamabad that the Pakistani military was not informed of any such plan. “Since we haven’t received anything in writing, we will not comment on this matter”, he said. Daley said the USZ and Pakistan are trying to “work through” issues as part of a complicated relationship, and there remains “a lot of pain” in that political system following the US raid that killed al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden in May. He added: “It’s a complicated relationship in a very difficult, complicated part of the world. “But it must be made to work over time. But until we get through these difficulties we will hold back some of the money that the American taxpayers have committed to give them.” The New York Times, as usual citing three unnamed senior USZ officials, reported that altogether, “about $800 million in military aid and equipment, or over one-third of the more than $2 billion in annual American security assistance to Pakistan, could be affected.”

Army spokesman Athar Abbas said, “We have said in the past that military aid should be redirected to the civilian area where it’s needed more”. “As far as the impact is concerned”, he added, “we have stated in the past we have conducted operations against militants in the tribal region and they have been successful operations using our own resources without taking any external support. Those operations in the tribal areas will continue”.

Meanwhile, in a piece posted by The Atlantic magazine on its website, Jeffrey Goldberg, who mostly writes on foreign policy matters, pointed to the contradiction in the White House decision to stop the aid and its hope to resolves the issues with Pakistan, saying it won’t succeed. “The way he (Daley) wants to do this is to publicly embarrass the Pakistanis”, Goldberg wrote in his commentary.

“It is not the money $800 million in withheld aid that is crucial here. The Pakistani military will survive perfectly well without access to this relatively modest sum. What is important is that the Obama administration believes that public embarrassment of an on-again, off-again ally in the fight against terrorism will bring that ally to heel... This does not seem like a path to success. The Pakistanis want the respect of the USZ or, at least, some recognition of that despite the Bin Laden calamity they have also suffered at the hand of extremists, and that thousands of Pakistanis have died fighting extremism. It seems that it would be more in the American self-interest to speak quietly to Pakistan at moments like this, rather than to deliver a public spanking. I will make a bold prediction: Six months or a year from now, we will look back on the withholding of aid as a failure of policy”, Goldberg added.

Relations with Pakistan have become increasingly tense after the secret USZ circus raid into Pakistan in May that killed Al-CIA_Da leader Osama bin Laden for the 8th time in the last 10 years. Pakistan expelled 100 USZ military trainers as public sentiment against the USZ has grown and also because all of those trainers were involved in some of the highest level espionage activities against the sovereignty of Pakistan. Pakistani officials, meanwhile, have criticised the United States of Zionism for conducting the secret raid without warning Pakistan. The rift seemed to deepen last week when the top USZ military officer, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Admiral Mike Mullen, said he believes the Pakistani government “sanctioned” the killing of a prominent Islamabad reporter, Syed Saleem Shahzad, who was murdered in May and was also involved in some of the worst activities of espionage against the sovereignty of Pakistan by maligning its security institutions. The Pakistani military and Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) agency denied any involvement in Shahzad’s killing right away confirming it indirectly to be a CIA plot against the security agencies of the country, which was testified by the heavy malicious campaign of the local Zionist media drones inside Pakistan.

The USZ-Pakistan relationship also was damaged last year after a CIA contractor in Lahore killed two Pakistanis. Some of the curtailed aid is equipment that the USZ wants to send but Pakistan now refuses to accept, like rifles, ammunition, body armour and bomb-disposal gear, the Zionist mouthpiece New York Times said. These deliveries were withdrawn or held up after Islamabad shut down a USZ program that had been training paramilitary forces, sending home more than 100 USZ trainers in recent weeks, and has threatened to close the base the CIA has been using for drone plane attacks on militant targets. Some of this equipment, such as night-vision goggles and helicopter spare parts, cannot be set up, certified or used for training because Pakistan has denied visas to the USZ personnel needed to operate it, the paper said.

DG ISPR Major General Athar Abbas blasted New York Times' malicious reports against Pakistan and said that this is a well thought out American game to weaken Pakistan. American media reports are a direct attack on Pakistan's sovereignty and security. In an interview with Reuters, DG ISPR said:

These reports of New York Times are a direct attack on Pakistan's security and intelligence agencies. He said that in the recent weeks, New York Times has quoted several unnamed American officials and on the basis of these quotes, it has presented some preposterous claims in the form of news headlines all of which target Pakistan and its security agencies. He said that in most of such reports by New York Times, only unnamed American officials are quoted which is itself a big question mark on the credibility of New York Times.

DG ISPR brought up the fake reporting done by New York Times in 2004 against Iraq and the way New York Times had to retract its reports admitting that they were baseless. DG ISPR warned that:

If New York Times does not immediately halt its malicious and baseless propaganda campaign against Pakistan then it will have to say sorry one more time just like it had to do in 2004. The newspaper has continuously been publishing fictitious and preposterous reports which are far from ground reality and consist of sheer negative propaganda against Pakistan Army and ISI. The interesting fact is that all of these reports have been quoted from “unnamed American officials” although it is against the norms of fair journalism. No media outlet is allowed to publish reports on such sensitive issues without quoting solid sources. I hope New York Times and other such propaganda media outlets will halt their baseless propaganda campaign against Pakistan. However, if they don't, then they will definitely have to say sorry in the future, all of them.
