The Frontier Corps Balochistan arrested Nawabzada Shahzain Bugti, provincial President of Jamhoori Watan Party (JWP), along with his 27 bodyguards at Baleli Checkpost near Quetta and seized a huge cache of arms and ammunition from their possession on Wednesday. A 17-vehicle convoy of Shahzain Bugti was coming back to Quetta from Chaman when FC personnel stopped it for search at the checkpost.
After search, the FC personnel allegedly recovered 50 Kalashnikovs, four LMGs, seven other guns and 47,000 bullets. The FC personnel wanted to arrest Shahzain Bugti.
