Putin orders Surprise Large-Scale Military Exercises in Black Sea

Print Friendly and PDF

President Vladimir Putin ordered the launch of large-scale Russian military exercises in the Black Sea region on Thursday, his spokesman said, in a move that may create tensions with Russia's post-Soviet neighbors Ukraine and Georgia. Putin issued the order to start the previously unannounced maneuvers at 4 a.m. Moscow time (12.00 a.m. EDT) as he flew back from an international summit in South Africa, his spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, told reporters by telephone.

"These are large-scale unannounced test exercises," Peskov said, adding that 36 warships and an unspecified number of warplanes would take part. "The main goal is to check the readiness and cohesion of the various units." He did not say how long the exercises would last. Putin has stressed the importance of a strong and agile military since he returned to the presidency last May after four years as prime minister. In 13 years in power, he has often cited external threats when talking of the need for unity in Russia.

Russia's Black Sea fleet, whose main base is in the Ukrainian port of Sevastopol, was instrumental in a war with Georgia in 2008 over the Russian-backed breakaway Georgian regions of South Ossetia and Abkhazia. Disputes with Kiev over Moscow's continued lease of the Black Sea navy base have been a thorn in relations with its former Soviet neighbor. Peskov said that Russia is under no obligation to warn neighbors ahead of time of plans to hold the air and sea military exercises as long as fewer than 7,000 servicemen participated in the maneuvers.

Russia massing troops at Iran's Northern Border awaiting Western Attack

Print Friendly and PDF

Vladimir Putin (left) - Mehmoud Ahmadinejad (right)
The Russian military anticipates that an attack will occur on Iran by the summer and has developed an action plan to move Russian troops through neighboring Georgia to stage in Armenia, which borders on the Islamic republic, according to informed Russian sources. Russian Security Council head Viktor Ozerov said that Russian General Military Headquarters has prepared an action plan in the event of an attack on Iran. Dmitry Rogozin, who recently was the Russian ambassador to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, or NATO, warned against an attack on Iran. “Iran is our neighbor”, Rogozin said. “If Iran is involved in any military action, it’s a direct threat to our security.” Rogozin now is the deputy Russian prime minister and is regarded as anti-Western. He oversees Russia’s defense sector.

Russian Defense Ministry sources say that the Russian military doesn’t believe that Israel has sufficient military assets to defeat Iranian defenses and further believes that USZ military action will be necessary. The implication of preparing to move Russian troops not only is to protect its own vital regional interests but possibly to assist Iran in the event of such an attack. Sources add that a Russian military buildup in the region could result in the Russian military potentially engaging Israeli forces, USZ forces, or both. Informed sources say that the Russians have warned of “unpredictable consequences” in the event Iran is attacked, with some Russians saying that the Russian military will take part in the possible war because it would threaten its vital interests in the region.

The influential Russian Nezavisimaya Gazeta newspaper has quoted a Russian military source as saying that the situation forming around Syria and Iran “causes Russia to expedite the course of improvement of its military groups in the South Caucasus, the Caspian, Mediterranean and Black Sea regions.” This latest information comes from a series of reports and leaks from official Russian spokesmen and government news agencies who say that an Israeli attack is all but certain by the summer. Because of the impact on Russian vital interests in the region, sources say that Russian preparations for such an attack began two years ago when Russian Military Base 102 in Gyumri, Armenia, was modernized. It is said to occupy a major geopolitical position in the region.

Families of Russian servicemen from the Russian base at Gyumri in Armenia close to the borders of Georgia and Turkey already have been evacuated, Russian sources say. “Military Base 102 is a key point, Russia’s outpost in the South Caucasus”, a Russian military source told the newspaper. “It occupies a very important geopolitical position, but the Kremlin fears lest it should lose this situation.” With Vladimir Putin returning to the Russian presidency, the prospect that he again would order an attack on Georgia as he did in August 2008 also has become a possibility, these informed sources say. The Russians believe that Georgia would cooperate with the United States of Zionism in blocking any supplies from reaching Military Base 102, which now is supplied primarily by air. Right now, Georgia blocks the only land transportation route through which Russian military supplies could travel.

Fuel for the Russian base in Armenia comes from Iran. Russian officials believe this border crossing may be closed in the event of a war. “Possibly, it will be necessary to use military means to breach the Georgian transport blockade and establish transport corridors leading into Armenia,” according to Yury Netkachev, former deputy commander of Russian forces in Transcaucasia. Geography of the region suggests that any such supply corridor would have to go through the middle of Georgia approaching Georgia’s capital of Tbilisi given the roads and topography of the country. In September, the Russian military plans to hold its annual military exercises called Kavkaz 2012. However, informed Russian sources say that preparations and deployments of military equipment and personnel already have begun in anticipation of a possible war with Iran.

These sources report that new command and control equipment has been deployed in the region capable of using the Russian GPS system, GLONASS for targeting information. “The air force in the South Military District is reported to have been rearmed almost 100 percent with new jets and helicopters,” according to regional expert Pavel Felgenhauer of the Washington-based Jamestown Foundation. In 2008, Felgenhauer pointed out, Kavkaz 2008 maneuvers allowed the Russian military to covertly deploy forces that successfully invaded Georgia in August of that year. Defense Minister Anatoly Serdyukov already has announced that new Spetznaz, or Special Forces units, will be deployed in Stavropol and Kislovodsk, which are located in the North Caucasian regions.

Russian sources say that the Russian military believes that if the USZ goes to war with Iran, it may deploy forces into Georgia and warships in the Caspian Sea with the possible help of Azerbaijan, which since has stated that it will not allow its territory to be used by Israel to launch an attack on neighboring Iran. There had been speculation that given the improved relations between Israel and Azerbaijan, the Jewish state may use bases from which to launch air attacks on neighboring Iran’s nuclear sites. Israel recently agreed to sell Azerbaijan $1.6 billion in military equipment. A further irritant to Georgia’s President Mikhail Saakashvili is the prospect that Russian assault airborne troops, or VDV units, with helicopters could be moved into Georgia’s two breakaway provinces of Abkhazia and South Ossetia. These two provinces were taken by the Russian military during the August 2008 Russian-Georgian war. Initially they were declared by Moscow to be independent countries, but now the Kremlin is indicating they may be annexed to Russia.

Similarly, Lt. General Vladimir Shamanov, commander of the VDV, has announced that Russian troops in Armenia will be reinforced by paratroopers, along with attack and transport helicopters. “The Russian spearhead (from the Transcaucasia region) may be ordered to strike south to prevent the presumed deployment of USZ bases in Transcaucasia, to link up with the troops in Armenia and take over the South Caucasus energy corridor along which Azeri, Turkmen and other Caspian natural gas and oil may reach European markets,” Felgenhauer said. “By one swift military strike, Russia may ensure control of all the Caucasus and the Caspian states that were its former realm, establishing a fiat accompli the West, too preoccupied with Iran, would not reverse,” he said.

“At the same time, a small victorious war would unite the Russian nation behind the Kremlin, allowing it to crush the remnants of the prodemocracy movement ‘for fair elections,’ and as a final bonus, Russia’s military action could perhaps finally destroy the Saakashvili regime.” Putin has made no secret that he despises Saakashvili and with his return to the presidency, he may consider taking out the Georgian president as unfinished business. Just as in 2008, Putin will not have much to worry about if he sends Russian troops into Georgia, since there was muted reaction from the USZ and the European countries to the Russian invasion and subsequent occupation.

ISI Legends - Why General Ahmad Shuja Pasha will Never Walk Alone

Print Friendly and PDF

Gen. Akhtar(Above) - Gen. Pasha(Below)
General Akhtar Abdur Rahman, former Director General of the Inter-Services Intelligence (1979 to 1987), is rightfully accredited with master-minding the Afghan Jihad against former superpower the Soviet Union. It was his lethal combination of power, intelligence, and foresight that made him the true architect of Soviet defeat and it’s withdrawal inevitable. The general’s unwavering support for the Afghan mujahideen, fueled by Saudi and American financial assistance managed to force out the Soviets from Afghanistan, eventually leading to irrepairable fissures within the Union and it’s long awaited fall, all the while keeping CIA infiltration and influence at bay.

During the tenure of General Akhtar Abdur Rahman, ISI nurtured mujahideen in madrassas (religious seminaries ) along Pakistan’s tribal belt. The Pakistani army generals were put in charge of training these guerilla fighters, instilling in them the required skills to devise military strategies and defend their their homeland from the Soviets. In the mid 80s, ISI was not only supplying logistical support but had sent Pakistani soldiers to fight alongside the mujahideen, in guerilla garb. Some reports also say that in 1986 the ISI sent atleast three attack squads into former Soviet lands comprising of around 20 Pakistan army soldiers, to destroy arms dumps and convoys headed for Afghanistan. The Americans, upon finding out, beseeched General Zia to stop their incursion into Soviet territory as it could trigger an all-out conflict between the Americans and the Soviets, who were suspecting these raids as by-product of American incitement.

The ISI’s successful military operation against Soviet aggression did not go unacknowledged. General Rtd Hamid Gul, who was appointed the next Director General of ISI in the wake of General Akhtar Abdul Rahman’s assasination in 1989, was sent a piece of the Berlin Wall with a plaque honouring ‘those who struck the first blow’.

Fast forward to the year 2012, Afghanistan is once again under occupation, and eleven years since the USZ occupation began, remains unconquerable. And if American allegations are to be believed, ISI’s outgoing Director General Ahmad Shuja Pasha (recently named in the ‘TIME Magazine 100 Most Influential people’ list) has for the last four years followed in the footsteps of his predecessor, General Akhtar Abdur Rehman.

Today, on the day of his retirement, Lieutenant-General Ahmad Shuja Pasha stands accused of harboring, training, and arming the mujahideen fighting the occupying USZ forces in Afghanistan during his four year tenure. Western media, analysts and military officials are increasing the pressure on Pakistan, pinning the blame of American and NATO failure on ISI. Pakistan’s premier intelligence agency is described in the media as a state within a state, running its own policy in Afghanistan, contrary to the USZ-sponspored ‘democratic’ government’s subservient doctrine. Lt. Gen. Ahmed Shuja Pasha is to Americans what Gen. Akhtar Abdul Rahman was to the Soviets. The grand puppet-master, calling the shots and directing attacks on the occupying forces and slowly but surely griding their hopes of domination in this key region, into the dusty plains of Afghanistan.

Admiral Mike Mullen, the former chairman of the USZ Joints Chiefs of Staff, told the USZ Senate Armed Services Committee last year that he believes the Afghan mujahideen to be a ‘veritable arm’ of the ISI. He also alleged that the ISI planned and conducted various attacks on USZ forces inside Afghanistan, including the September 14th assault on the USZ Embassy in Kabul. Other high-profile attacks accredited to the ISI and the Pakistani military include last year’s assault on the Inter-Continental Hotel in Kabul, as well as the Indian Embassy blast in Kabul in 2009.

One of the victims of an attack on the Indian Embassy in 2009 was the Indian Defence Attache, Brigadier R. D. Mehta, whose list of ‘credentials’ include heading the Indian Army’s notoriously brutal Intelligence wing for Jammu and Kashmir – responsible for thousands of enforced disappearances and extra judicial murders of innocent Kashmiris in the last two decades. His presence in Afghanistan, assisting with training the Afghan National Army, illustrated India’s influence in Afghanistan;s government and military circles. If there is truth in American allegations, then it is this particular incident which is of more significance than others.

Pakistan was one of the three countries who recognized the government of Taliban as legitimate, the others being Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. The ISI had supported Taliban’s takeover of Kabul from the Indian sponsored Ahmad Shah Massoud and his Northern Alliance a few years earlier. According to Pakistan’s then-dictator Pervez Musharraf, all it took was a phonecall from the then USZ secretary of State Colin Powell for this relationship to come crashing down shortly after 9/11. Musharraf neither matched his predecessors in intelligence nor in loyalty, and eventually caved under American pressure, agreeing on assisting the USZ occupy and overthrow the Taliban government. In view of intense USZ and international pressure, Pakistan’s foreign policy made a complete u-turn concerning ‘former’ ally, the Taliban.

In the months and years to follow, the Pakistani military planners watched in horror as the USZ stubbornly displayed its utter disregard for its supposed ‘front line ally’s national security interests by supporting the Indian / Iranian-backed Northern Alliance for leading the new Afghan interm government, which later got itself ‘elected’ for more terms and continues to hold office ten years since the occupation began. The past decade under Karzai’s government has seen a long list of unending atrocities and blows to Pakistan’s security – including infestation of Pakistan with spies and undercover agents, bribing and buying out top shelf news media and talk show anchors and media houses in order to promote USZ agendas in Pakistan, drone strikes and air assaults killing hundreds of civilians and Pakistan army soldiers, thousands of civilians and military deaths in violence and terror attacks – just a few examples of American treachery that come to mind.

As the blood-soaked years dragged on, Pakistan’s worst fears had come true as Afghan territory was now being used to launch a ruthless and bloody terror campaign in Pakistan’s major cities. Weapons and funds flowed in from Afghanistan while terrorists struck with impunity in Pakistan, attacking busy markets, mosques, and military bases. Another Baloch ‘insurgency’ (originally initiated in the 1970s by the Soviets using Indian covert agents and long dead since the Soviet pullout) was revived under CIA’s umbrella. Pakistan’s requests to the CIA of putting a leash on Indian agencies active in Afghanistan kept falling on deaf ears, and continue to do so.

Americans allege that it was around 2005-06, during the reign of General Ashfaq Pervez Kiyani as the ISI Chief (now COAS) when they first started recieving intelligence reports implicating the ISI in attacks on American and Indian interests in Afghanistan. Kayani, after being promoted to the COAS role in October 2007, appointed Ahmad Shuja Pasha as his ISI Chief. If American accusations are to be lent any credibility, then this duo has not only revived covert Pakistani support for Afghan resistance, but has also caused billions of dollars in economic damage to the USZ and undone years of hard intelligence networking by curtailing CIA’s influence and sending back hundreds of USZ contractors and covert agents in the last year and a half. Any such action from Pakistan’s military and intelligence agencies – if the allegations were true – would be justified by what an overwhelming majority of Pakistan’s citizens see as treachery and backstabbing by the Americans by allowing India – which does not share a border with landlocked Afghanistan – a slice of the Afghan pie.

If the mutual mistrust and covert action on both sides of the border wasn’t enough, the situation was further complicated by a number of events last year, including the arrest (and later release) of a USZ army contractor – found with a phone book full of numbers of known terrorists and their cohorts and a camera containing photos of sensitive military installations in Pakistan. Then there was ofcourse the May 2nd raid by American forces on a house in Abbotabad using stealth helicopters which apparently took out Osama Bin Laden, and finally the unprovoked attack on a Pakistan military outpost in Salala, near the Afghan border, in which 24 Pakistani soldiers embraced Shahadat after coming under fire from a USZ helicopter.

These incidents, while they aggravated public opinion in Pakistan even more against the USZ occupation of Afghanistan, also provided a golden opportunity to Shuja Pasha to further curtail CIA’s tentacles in Pakistan. All non-essential CIA staff and defence contractors have been sent packing. Information gleaned by CIA contractor Raymond Davis enabled Pakistan to make hundreds of arrests and shut down CIA’s local information and covert action cells. And after the November 26th attack on Salala post least year, Pakistan army took another significant step towards formally end the partnership with the USZ occupation, by shutting down the land route from its port in Karachi, which was used to deliver thousands of containers daily to the USZ forces in Afghanistan.

All of this after Pakistan army, under the leadership of Kayani and guidance of Pasha has already broken the back of the terrorists on its soil in recent years, freeing up large swathes of territory in the tribal badlands and in Swat where the terrorists had established their mini fiefdoms.

There are many reasons why Pasha is said to have been one of CIA’s most hated men, chief among them being that it was during his tenure when relations between Pakistan and USZ soured and mistrust on both sides eventually led to further deterioration. It was also under his tenure that CIA’s networks of informants and covert agents were unravelled and a number of key CIA assets (if not all) were neutralized. It was in a meeting with the then CIA Director Leon Panetta after the raid on Abbotabad last year, when Pasha is said to have brushed off his counterpart’s threatening tone by retorting that his ‘Boss is Allah, not America’. The sigh of relief brought on by Pasha’s retirement can be heard from Langley right through to Delhi.

As Lieutenant-General Ahmad Shuja Pasha steps down from his post today, it is fair to ponder if there is truth in the American allegations of the ISI’s role. Because if they are true, and if Pasha and Kayani have been giving the Americans a bloody nose in return for what Pakistanis see as backstabbing by the Americans, if Shuja Pasha has indeed followed in ISI tradition of bringing down superpowers by giving the USZ another Vietnam, and if his planning, intelligence and audacity has brought the USZ military might close to annihiliation in the unforgiving terrain of Afghanistan, then there will be millions of Pakistanis who will always view this man as a Hero. Alongside General Akhtar Abdul Rahman.

Russians slam American Zionist Media's Bullying against Russia

Print Friendly and PDF

The next time you want to slam Russia, consider this: according to the results from a national poll, Russians are increasingly opposed to outside (Read: Western) disapproval of their internal situation. The Levada Center, a polling agency, released data on a nationwide survey taken in February that shows a marked trend toward domestic opposition to outside criticism – from the West in general, and the United States in particular. The percentage of Russians who believe that Moscow should stop paying attention to criticism from the West has surged five percentage points in the last two years, jumping from 45 per cent in 2010 to 50 per cent this year.

In 2007, just 38 per cent of Russians reported similar sentiments toward the West. Researchers from the polling organization said the majority of interviewees (40 percent) are of the opinion that the West regards Russia as a competitor and is thus attempting to weaken the country;  another 29 per cent of respondents believe that Westerners generally have a poor understanding of Russian life and therefore are more prone to criticize it. Still others (26 per cent) say the West criticizes Russia because the former has an inherently unfriendly attitude to the country. On the question as to what the Russian leadership should be striving to achieve, 39 per cent of those polled believe Russia should keep a greater distance from the United States; another category of the respondents (34 per cent) felt that the present relationship with the United States should be preserved, while 15 per cent are of the opinion that relations between the former Cold War rivals should become even closer.

Concerning the overall condition of Russia-US relations, 10 per cent of the respondents described the relations as good or friendly; 32 per cent said they were normal; 26 per cent, lukewarm; 21 per cent, tense and 4 per cent, hostile. According to the Levada Center, in the past two years alone, the percentage of Russians who hold a negative attitude toward the United States jumped six percentage points, to 45 per cent. Meanwhile, the attitude on the Russian street to the nature of relations between NATO and Russia is also witnessing a rather dramatic change. One year ago, 5 per cent of Russians polled said that Russia should seek membership in the western military alliance. Today, that figure stands on shaky ground at just 3 per cent. At the same time, the number of supporters of Russia-NATO cooperation in the interests of common security shrunk from 29 per cent to 26 per cent, while the number of those calling to counter NATO expansion by forming defense unions has increased from 21 per cent to 23 per cent.

Finally, 36 per cent of those polled leaned toward a more isolationist defense strategy, saying Russia should refrain from joining any military alliances, an increase of 5 percentage points in over a year’s time. The Levada Center is an independent, non-governmental polling and sociological research organization, named after its founder, the first Russian professor of sociology, Yuri Levada (1930-2006).

USZ to Attempt Overthrow of Vladimir Putin's Government in Russia

Print Friendly and PDF

As predicted – the Western media and USZ State Department-funded “opposition” inside Russia have called Vladimir Putin’s landslide victory a “fraud.” It was stated on Thursday March 1, that the Western media had “already determined how Russia’s elections will unfold, creating the pretext in the minds of impressionable viewers to justify the unrest the US(Z) is undoubtedly planning.”

Despite every poll indicating well in advance an easy victory for Vladimir Putin, and his critics admitting mobs of anti-Putin protesters constitute but a minority, claims of “election fraud” are rife across Western media. Clearly a man sure to win is not going to taint his victory by needlessly cheating. Conversely, in Thailand, when convicted criminal Thaksin Shinawatra ran for office by proxy through his own sister, and squeaked by with a tenuous victory, the Western media hailed it as a triumph of democracy. The difference? Thaksin Shinawatra of Thailand works for Wall Street, Vladimir Putin does not.

This is similar to what took place during the 2009 Iranian elections where USZ State Department-funded opposition groups also claimed the elections were “illegitimate” and took to the streets in an attempt to reverse the democratic process through ochlocratic means. In Egypt, directly before the USZ-engineered Arab Spring, elections that predictably overlooked the suspicious Mohamed ElBaradei were likewise called “fraudulent” and used as the rhetorical justification to execute destabilization long-planned by the USZ State Department since 2008.

Proceeding Thailand’s July, 2011 elections, as explained in ““Stolen Elections” Battle Cry of the Color Revolution,” Wall Street and London’s operatives laid the groundwork to likewise call any result aside from their proxies’ full installation to power “fraud,” to then be used as impetus to justify street mobs, destabilization, and violence.

And already, before Sunday’s elections, USZ State Department-funded Freedom House, through an article written by its “president” David Kramer, stated in Foreign Policy magazine:
“Even if the system delivers the required results, clear evidence of rigging may lead voters to reject the election as unfair and illegitimate. Moreover, the authorities’ stifling of the Russian public’s voice runs the risk of creating an even more combustible environment in the period after March 4. The balloting, whatever its outcome, is therefore unlikely to extinguish the rising desire for real change. Unless and until that change is permitted, Putin’s continued pursuit of simulated democracy will fail to achieve even a simulation of stability.”
Kramer’s veiled threats of instability brought about by the opposition he, his Freedom House organization, and its parent organization, the National Endowment for Democracy (NED) have long been cultivating would then be repeated almost verbatim throughout the Western press on Sunday – also predictably. It was stated on March 1 that, “It is important to keep in mind Freedom House president David Kramer’s words, knowing that both the National Endowment for Democracy and Freedom House are self-serving frauds, when listening to these very same talking points regurgitated by the Western media during the elections this coming Sunday.”

The LA Times would feature an editorial by the Wall Street-funded American Enterprise Institute (AEI) titled, “Putin’s Pyrrhic victory,” which stated, “Putin’s win “will be a Pyrrhic victory. Far from enhancing the Putin regime’s legitimacy, the election will diminish it further in the eyes of a significant part of the Russian population.”

The corporate-funded hit piece would go on to admit that the “revolution” clearly constituted a minority but maintained:
“…few, if any, regime changes, let alone revolutions, have been started by the majority. The majority has families to feed and a living to make. It is the younger, the urban, the better educated who have led successful modern revolutions. People who start them are getting uncensored news and opinions from the Internet and social media, not state-controlled television. And make no mistake about it: This is a young, middle-class revolt. “
This frightening stamp of approval for lawless ochlocratic “regime change” would then be followed by a comparison to the now admittedly fraudulent USZ-engineered “Arab Spring.”

Joining the LA Times was a myriad of headlines regurgitating Freedom House president David Kramer’s predetermined conclusions, with the Wall Street Journal reporting, “Putin Claims Election Win as Observers Claim Fraud,” Fox News reporting, “Putin claims victory in Russia’s presidential election amid allegations of violations in election,” Reuters reporting, “Vladimir Putin ‘elected Russian president‘, opponents allege fraud,” and the London Guardian reporting, “Vladimir Putin’s critics cry foul over alleged voter fraud in Russian election.”

Each report mentions either USZ-funded fraud Alexey Navalny or USZ-funded “independent election monitor” GOLOS, or both.

Alexey Navalny is fully subsidized by the USZ State Department through the National Endowment of Democracy (NED). And while Alexey Navalny is renowned for “exposing corruption,” at least when profitable, those researching his background begin unraveling his own insidious, compromised agenda. Alexey Navalny was a Yale World Fellow, and in his profile it states:
“Navalny spearheads legal challenges on behalf of minority shareholders in large Russian companies, including Gazprom, Bank VTB, Sberbank, Rosneft, Transneft, and Surgutneftegaz, through the Union of Minority Shareholders. He has successfully forced companies to disclose more information to their shareholders and has sued individual managers at several major corporations for allegedly corrupt practices. Navalny is also co-founder of the Democratic Alternative movement and was vice-chairman of the Moscow branch of the political party YABLOKO. In 2010, he launched RosPil, a public project funded by unprecedented fundraising in Russia. In 2011, Navalny started RosYama, which combats fraud in the road construction sector.”
The Democratic Alternative, also written DA!, is indeed a National Endowment for Democracy fund recipient, meaning that Alexey Navalny is an agent of USZ-funded sedition and willfully hiding it from his followers. The USZ State Department itself reveals this as they list “youth movements” operating in Russia:
“DA!: Mariya Gaydar, daughter of former Prime Minister Yegor Gaydar, leads DA! (Democratic Alternative). She is ardent in her promotion of democracy, but realistic about the obstacles she faces. Gaydar said that DA! is focused on non-partisan activities designed to raise political awareness. She has received funding from the National Endowment for Democracy, a fact she does not publicize for fear of appearing compromised by an American connection.”
Alexey was involved directly in founding a movement funded by the USZ government and to this day has the very people who funded DA! defending him throughout Western media. The mention of co-founder Mariya Gaydar is also revealing, as she has long collaborated, and occasionally has been arrested with, Ilya Yashin, yet another leader of a NED-funded Russian “activist” opposition group.

Photo: Alexei Navalny, Yale World Fellow and co-founder of USZ National Endowment for Democracy Da! or “Democratic Alternative/Yes in Russian.” It is yet another Otpor-esqueorganization courtesy of the United States of Zionism government and willful traitors to their motherland.
GOLOS, also mentioned endlessly by the Western media, is directly listed on the USZ State Department-run National Endowment for Democracy (NED) website as a recipient of funding. A NED subsidiary, the International Republican Institute (IRI), chaired by Senator John McCain, openly desires the ousting of Russia’s president Vladimir Putin while the USZ State Department itself is publicly accused by Moscow of trying to incite unrest across Russia. It is then difficult to fathom how GOLOS can claim to be an “independent” poll monitor when they are funded by a foreign nation actively seeking to manipulate Russia’s political landscape. It is also difficult to then understand why any reputable journalist would cite GOLOS as a reliable source of information, when clearly they are compromised. Difficult to understand, that is, unless one accepts that the Western media is nothing more than paid-propagandist serving Wall Street and London interests.

Image: Screenshot taken from the National Endowment for Democracy website featuring USZ funding for the NGO “Golos.” Golos allegedly was searching for “election irregularities.” Golos and other USZ-backed NGOs and opposition parties are now attempting to trigger an “Arab Spring” in Russia. (click to enlarge.)
The next step will be to fill the streets of Russia’s cities with the NED-funded opposition’s mobs of “young, educated urban youths,” just as they did in Egypt. AEI’s op-ed in the LA Timesclearly states an intent to leverage a minority magnified through “social media” to enact “regime change.” Whether Russia’s security apparatus is capable of quickly and decisively dealing with this foreign-funded sedition, and how far Wall Street and London are willing to go are the only remaining variables that will determine the outcome of what was from the beginning the Wall Street-London “Arab Spring’s” final destination.
Conclusion
By understanding this process by which the neo-imperialists of Wall Street and London manipulate both domestic and international opinion through a clearly compromised media and network of disingenuous, insidious NGOs and “pro-democracy opposition” movements, this geopolitical gambit can be exposed and balked.

The intended purpose of the USZ State Department is to maintain communications and formal relations with foreign countries – not project American hegemony around the globe. Meddling and subverting a sovereign nation is an act of war, and the potential conflict America’s ruling elite threaten to trigger will be one paid for by the American people, not the corporate-fascists on Wall Street, or their proxies in Washington.

Study and understand how the USZ State Department has manipulated and destabilized nations from the Middle East, to Thailand, and now across Russia through foreign-funded NGOs like GOLOSand treasonous opposition movements like those led by Alexey Navalny, Vladimir Ryzhkov, and Boris Nemtsov. Then spread the word. A well-informed population is inoculated from crass, demagogic and ultimately self-destructive manipulation by a degenerate and dangerous ruling elite.
