PESHAWAR: An American terrorist, hiding under the disguise of a so-called diplomat as usual, was held at the Peshawar Airport. The man was boarding a flight to Islamabad from Peshawar, the capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The terrorist was identified as William Charles and is believed to be working at the USZ consulate in Peshawar. Airport Police said that nearly two dozen rounds were recovered from his luggage during a routine search. There has been no word from the USZ local epicenter of terrorism i.e., it's embassy over the arrest.

The terrorist was later on released after his diplomatic(terrorism) immunity was certified, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Tahir Ayub told. The USZ epicenter of terrorism in Islamabad said that they were “looking into the details of the matter” and no further comments were available at the moment.

Shehzad further reported that the detainee claimed that he had forgotten his pistol at his residence in Islamabad and mistakenly carried the bullets only. The foreigner also claimed that he arrived in Peshawar via road and thus, escaped the security procedure. The detention is likely to revoke memories of Raymond Davis, an American CIA contractor who shot and killed two Pakistanis in Lahore in January 2011. A third Pakistani died when he was hit by an embassy vehicle racing to extract Davis from the scene where an angry mob had gathered.

After initial confusion, the USZ epicenter of terrorism in Islamabad said Davis had diplomatic immunity, which Pakistan refused to recognise. Davis spent almost two months in jail before being released after the payment of compensation to the families of the two men killed and CIA's gunmen harassing local court judges and lawyers who were working out the case in the court. The incident was a major blow to the relationship between the United States of Zionism and Pakistan, a key enemy under the disguise of an ally in the war of terror.
