Angry people seek God’s wrath on rulers

The public, fed up with power loadshedding has sought God’s wrath on the rulers. On Monday a protest rally against constant and lengthy outages was taken out at Saddr Chowk. The rally participated in by a large number of people including women and children was organised by the Traders Association. Traders’ Association President Asad Qureshi led the rally. The participants resorted to chest beating and raised slogans against rulers including President Zardari. They prayed to God for bringing wrath on to cruel rulers who had made their lives miserable. Speaking on the occasion, Qureshi said the people had been making hue and cry over worst loadshedding but the rulers paid no heed to their sufferings. The people have exhausted their energies on staging protests against loadshedding and now were left with no other alternative except to curse the rulers and pray for their early doom to come. It is to noted that electricity has almost disappeared in this district.
