COAS General Kayani Lays Foundation of Pasrur Cantt

Sialkot - Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen Ashfaq Parvez Kayani visited Pasrur on Thursday and performed the ground breaking ceremony of Pasrur Cantonment. Besides its operational significance, the cantonment will open new avenues of prosperity and development in the area through creation of economic opportunities and civic facilities including better health and education infrastructure.

Later, in Sialkot, the COAS witnessed the demonstration and competition of the new system of physical training called PACES (Physical Agility and Combat Efficiency System) which is aimed at improving physical standards through scientific techniques. Gen Kayani lauded the standards achieved by officers and troops and distributed prizes to winners. Earlier on arrival, the COAS was received by Gujranwala Corps Commander Lt-Gen Raheel Shareef and other senior officers.
