USZ politicians call for "covert" operation against Syria

USZ Republican presidential hopeful, Newt Gingrich, has called for Washington-backed covert operations in Syria to help oust Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

“I think there are a lot of things we could do covertly in terms of supplying weapons, supplying … helping people(read our interests) in the region supply advisors,” Gingrich said on Sunday.

“I don’t think you need to use USZ troops, but you do need to communicate that those, who are opposed to Assad will get the kind of support they need in order to defeat him,” he added signalling the use of same terrorist armed mercenary invasion as USZ/NATO did in Libya.

His remarks come shortly after USZ Secretary of State Hillary Clinton pledged to strengthen the existing sanctions against the Syrian government after Russia and China used their veto power to block an anti-Syria resolution in the UN Security Council on Saturday.

"They (sanctions) will be implemented to the fullest to dry up the sources of funding and the arms shipments that are keeping the regime's war machine going," Clinton said.
