DPC blasts MFN Status to India, NATO attacks; vows to attack parliament if NATO supplies reopened

RAWALPINDI: Amir Jamat-I-Islami, Munnawar Hassan, speaking at Difa-e-Pakistan Council (DPC) conference, held at Liaquat Bagh here Sunday, vowed to jam Islamabad if the government green-signaled resumption of supplies to Nato forces deployed in Afghanistan. Reports say that more several thousands took to the street to show their love for Islam and Pakistan and vowed to defend Pakistan against colonial and imperial powers and their hatched conspiracies using their democratically planted thugs in Islamabad.

More than 40 political and religious parties took part in the conference. Apart from JI, various leaders including Amir Jamiat-e-Ulema Islam Maulana Samiulhaq, Amir Jamaat-ud-Dawah Hafiz Mohammad Saeed, Awami Muslim League’s Shaikh Rashid, former ISI chief Lt Gen Hamid Gul, and others addressed the conference.
