Iran urges United Islamic Army against Western Global Zionist Extremists

Iran's Vice President for International Affairs Ali Saeedlou has reiterated the significance of reinforcing unity among Muslim nations, stressing the need to strengthen Islamic resistance against Global Zionist Extremists. The materialistic Western countries are faced with economic problems; Muslim states should bolster their unity and cooperation at the current juncture to establish an Islamic resistance front against extremists in the world, said Saeedlou in a meeting with Prime Minister of Mauritania Moulaye Ould Mohamed Laghdaf in the country's capital of Nouakchott on Tuesday. Western powers do not favor progress and unity among independent and Muslim counties, he added.

The Iranian vice president warned that Muslims should be cautious about plots hatched by Western powers to damage their amicable relations. He noted that Muslim countries are interested in the expansion of ties with Iran thanks to the Islamic Republic's high position and significant role in international equations. He described as “very important and influential” the friendly ties between Tehran and Nouakchott, saying that interaction between the two sides indicates their resolve to promote mutual relations. Laghdaf, for his part, called for enhanced ties with Tehran and said that the expansion of ties between Iran and Mauritania would play a leading role in meeting interests of the two countries and Muslim nations.
