The Crime Investigation Department of Sindh Police has arrested 6 CIA backed TTP terrorists with ars and ammunition on Saturday, media reports said on 29th May, 2011. The arrested men have been affiliated with the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) which is backed by none other than the CIA and Indian secret agency RAW. The officials said the men were caught during raids in Landhi, Baldia, Hub River Road, Bismillah Colony and Manghopir Road.CID Operations SSP Fayyaz Khan said that he headed the CID team that raided these areas after they were tipped off about the terrorists’ locations.
The names of the alleged militants are Haji Saeed Mahmood Mehsud, Syed Ali Shah Mehsud, Mumtaz Ahmed Mehsud, Abdul Khaliq Tokhti, Gul Zaman Afghani and Mohammad Saleem Afghani. SSP Khan said that the CID team also seized six TT pistols, five kilogrammes of hashish and a huge cache of ammunition. According to him, these men belong to TTP’s Qari Hussain Mehsud group and had been involved in several heinous crimes including target killings, robberies, kidnapping for ransom and police encounters in Karachi. They were funding the militants to help them fight the security forces, he said. Ironically enough, the CIA has not said a word about this incident despite having a serious itch in its tongue immediately after every single arrest of terrorists in Pakistan.
