Russia prepares for War after Historic Obama-Bush-Clinton-African Meeting

Print Friendly and PDF

Barack Obama - Bill Clinton - George W. Bush
A truly grim Federal Security Services (FSB) report circulating in the Kremlin today is confirming that the 13 July snap military drills ordered by President Putin involving nearly 200,000 Russia troops was in “direct response” to information obtained from US fugitive Edward Snowden; information that further caused the historic meeting of three American Presidents in Africa during the past few weeks in their effort to hide the truth of our worlds nearing destruction.

According to this report, Main Intelligence Directorate (GRU) tactical forces were able to extricate Snowden from Hong Kong on 23 June within hours of his planned assassination by a CIA “hit squad” sent by the Obama regime to silence this person who is now known as the most wanted man in the world.

The saving of Snowden’s life, this report continues, was ordered by Putin after the 18 June assassination of American journalist Michael Hastings whose vehicle was destroyed by a US drone strike in Los Angeles [new video showing drone strike HERE] as he was attempting to flee to safety while preparing a story on information given to him by Snowden.

Further information relating to Putin’s decision to save Snowden, this report says, was the Obama regimes attack on two Los Angeles police detectives investigating Hastings assassination, and which has, so far, pushed them into silence.

Confirming Putin’s wisdom in saving Snowden’s life, FSB analysts in the report say, was the Obama regimes assassination of famed New Zealand hacker Barnaby Jack in San Francisco on 25 July just days before he was to appear before the Black Hat Briefings computer security conference in Las Vegas where he was set to prove “beyond all doubt” that the aircraft used in the 11 September 2001 attacks on America were being remotely controlled by US intelligence agencies.

The evidence provided to Barnaby Jack to confirm this fact, this report says, was given to this “white hat hacker” by Snowden after the first computer genius he, Snowden, had approached was likewise assassinated by the Obama regime.

In “deep background,” FSB analysts in this report say, Snowden, when he first became aware of the stunning facts behind the US governments actions against not only their own people, but the entire world, contacted the noted computer genius and Internet activist Aaron Swartz in early January (2013) to assist him in explaining the most highly technical aspects of the top secret reports he was seeing.

Within days of Snowden contacting Swartz, however, this report says, the Obama regime assassinated Swartz by “suicide” on 11 January, though US intelligence agencies weren’t able, at that time, to discover where Swartz had obtained his information.

Most stunning in this report is the absolute terror being exhibited by US President’s Barack Obama, George W. Bush and Bill Clinton, all of whom rushed to Africa for a series of secret meetings on 27 June and 1 July after Snowden had been brought under the protection of the Kremlin just days before.

According to the GRU addendum to this FSB report, Clinton arrived in the African nation of Senegal immediately prior to Obama where the two held a series of secret meetings on 27 July.  From Senegal, this report continues, Clinton traveled separately to Dar es Salaam (Tanzania’s largest and richest city) where he met up with Obama and Bush for another series of secret meetings on 1 July.

As to the content of these historic meetings between three US Presidents in Africa kept from the American people by their propaganda media organs, this FSB report concludes, was how they were going to be able to contain the even more catastrophic information held by Snowden he has yet to release, but has vowed to do.

Important to note, and as we had detailed in our 1 July report “Snowden Revelations Strike Fear Into Putin,” the Obama regime is now in “full panic mode” over what is to come, and as evidenced this past week by the US Federal Government ordering all Web firms to immediately hand over the passwords of all American citizens.

Even more ominous for the American people, the Obama regime this past Friday completely removed from the Internet Obama’s Change.gov website he established in 2008 to lay out his promises, which, in fact, he never honored anyway.

And in a move this report calls “stunning,” the Obama regimes defense department told the US Senate this past week that neither the US Congress, nor the American people, had a right to know who their own country was at war with because it is “classified.”

The GRU addendum to this FSB report, however, cryptically states that for the “truest meaning” of Snowden’s information revealing who the US is really at war with, and the fears of Obama-Bush-Clinton, lies in the 9 December 2009 “Norway Spiral Warning” giving to our Earth on the eve of Obama receiving his 10 December 2009 Nobel Peace Prize…a warning, mind you, that has not been heeded.

The same, however, cannot be said of Russia as the 5,000 additional bomb shelters ordered in 2010 by Putin to be built by the end of 2012 have now been completed, and with each passing day many more thousands of Russian troops are preparing for war.

An open letter to Geo TV network - جیو کے نام کھلا خط

Print Friendly and PDF

Dear Geo TV,
Assalam-o-Alaikum.

I believe you would like to respond to this 'Salaam' with a 'Namastay' after the culture and environment you are heavily under influence of. Anyways, hope you would be doing great; cherishing and rejoicing every new Hindi movie & their entertaining semi-nude dances in this blessed month of Ramadan. Many watch you throughout the year but still many of those abandon you in Ramadan for you pollute their fasts and you know very well how you do it. There are even many more who have completely boycotted you for one reason, i.e., you are not worth watching. I as a Pakistani have countless reservations regarding your channel and  jotting down a few of them here would mean I am representing the views & opinion of thousands of common Pakistanis. First and foremost:

You claim to be a 'leading' Pakistani channel on the NGOs funded - privately owned  media so much that you even started to 'lead' my country by altering / reshaping its foreign policy so covertly that too without any authority's permission under the facade of 'Aman ki Asha' which is your and your accomplice's (Times of India) joint venture. As a Pakistani I raise question, "WHO gave you this right?" This is Democracy where opinion of masses matter cent per cent. Despite the disliking of 90% nation, you kept on running the most abhorred 'Aman Ki Asha' drama. One crucial fact that I seriously fail to understand in this complete episode of 'Aman ki Asha' is, why does only Pakistan welcome Hindu culture under the umbrella of Aman ki Asha? If it were really an exchange of friendship & peace between the two countries, why didn't India welcome our Muslim culture and norms? Was it only a one-sided traffic? Here your entire 'gameplan' of this drama comes to its drop-scene. I mean, it yells itself and tells loud and clear that 'I AM a DRAMA DRAMA DRAMA'! So please stop deceiving the innocent Pakistani nation in the name of 'Aman ki Asha'.

Secondly: As a common Pakistani, I know a little of my self-respect and self-honor too besides chirp of a humming bird's 'peace & friendship' rhetoric. And when I find your network glorifying one-sided friendship, overlooking all my country's national interests and smashing its dignity and honor, I get seriously disappointed rather enraged. I mean, what the hell yaar? You'll give us the lollypop of friendship, compromising all my country's self-esteem & sovereignity? This is gravely unacceptable to me and tens of thousands like me who love Pakistan.

You were the first one to accept rather declare that Pakistan was sole responsible in Mumbai attacks to the extent of making a false drama report which not only showed but somehow proved Ajmal Kassab's links to FaridKot, although it was later refuted categorically by other credible channels. And now when your beloved friend India herself confessed the Mumbai attacks false flag, you are NOT even the LAST ONE to show this development. Where you should have even apologized for your false reporting & negative propaganda, you blatantly overlooked it and with such audacity you buried it completely. However celebrating gross (and by the way, FAKE) Katrina's birthday with traditionally professional half-nude broadcasts was a high priority task.

Thirdly: If I or someone else expressed my anger against your nauseating horse-crap on Facebook or Twitter, it is MY personal choice. Who the hell are you to interfere? This IS Democracy and I reserve a right to free speech. When this free-speech is contradictory to your interests, you start filing cases against Patriotic voices like Zaid Hamid and others. When free-speech preaches vulgarity & obscenity as per home ethics of Mir Shakeel Hanuman, then it is granted and hailed. What hypocrisy?! I express my anger loud and clear on social media against your nonsense and will keep doing it till you end up with your anger-provoking anti-Pakistan policies. And you better get that, the sooner the better for you. There's no XYZ guiding me to do this. I am sensible enough to recognize what's what and who's who!

Fourthly: You've always portrayed a very negative image of Pakistan. I have seen so many pure, simple minded, innocent middle-aged people complaining that they have become victims of depression and other pyshological problems as a result of watching your channel. This is shameful. There are bad things going on in Pakistan but don't forget there's a little balancing force too of good things which has kept the country intact yet. There are some far worse things going in India and the United States, but you only malign my Pakistan shamelessly perhaps because Indian State Television Doordarshan and US Government gives you heavy funds only for this purpose. God and the SC know it (as revealed in the Media Commission Report). Even if the SC won't do anything, God would do something soon I fathom.

In the end I would like to 'request' you to please mend your ways in order to continue your 'rozi roti'. Although your masters might get annoyed at you if you do so, but remember there's a Supreme master, above all your masters, and when he takes notice or responds, He does ruthlessly. See if this Pakistan is there, you will remain there and if Pakistan is not there, you'll be doomed in some lowest pits of hell. So it's better to love this Pakistan and give your loyalties to her instead of her cunning and dishonest neighbours.

I raised voice against your anti-Pakistan activities and policies, now please go and charge a case against me too. :)

Sincerely,

A Pakistani.

Indian Army declares planet Jupiter, Venus as "Chinese Spy Drones"

Print Friendly and PDF

India's army reportedly spent six months watching "Chinese spy drones" violating its air space, only to find out they were actually Jupiter and Venus.

Tensions have been high in the disputed Himalayan border area between the two nations in recent years, with India frequently accusing its neighbour of making incursions onto its territory. Things came to a head during a stand-off in April when Chinese troops were accused of erecting a camp on the Indian side of the de facto boundary known as the Line of Actual Control (LAC). By that stage, Indian troops had already documented 329 sightings of unidentified objects over a lake in the border region, between last August and February, according to the Calcutta-based Telegraph.

It quotes military sources as saying the objects violated the LAC 155 times. So, the army called the Indian Institute of Astrophysics to identify the objects. "Our task was to determine whether these unidentified objects were celestial or terrestrial," astronomer Tushar Prabhu told the paper. Only once the objects' movements were noted in relation to the stars were they identified as planets. The Telegraph suggests the sentry ought to be forgiven, with planets appearing brighter as a result of the different atmosphere at altitude and the increased use of surveillance drones.

افتخار چوہدری کے ڈرامے اور ای او بی آئی کیس کی حقیقت

Print Friendly and PDF

According to an undisclosed anonymous source claiming to be highly knowledgeable of the events, the actual untold story of EOBI case goes like this:
  1. On request of EOBI DHA sold commercial properties to EOBI in September 2011.
  2. Property was sold at lower cost.
  3. To carry out exact PRICE 19 plots were sold out @2.55 million per marla
  4. But the property was sold at more cheaper rate @Rs 2.45 Million
  5. The property was developed in such an organized way that now the same plot is Rs 4.0 Million per marla. 30% increase due to good pace of Development!
  6. FIA acknowledged and documented the development of infrastructure on 13th july 2013.
  7. All set be launched on 17 july, but DG FIA, during the court hearing, changed his statement contradicting to the FIA report!
  8. The ever anti-Army biased pro-Indian CJ ordered freezing of DHA assets.
The source further said that the additional DG FIA is government sponsored and directly linked to the Chief Justice. The main target of this whole episode is Mr. Malik Riaz as Bahria Town is adjacent to DHA in Islamabad, and DHA assets freeze will effect the market of Bahria as well. The primary reason behind this step taken by CJ is to avenge his corrupt lunatic son Arsalan Iftikhar!

Here are a few pictorial reports shared by the source:

Russian Nuclear Bombers intercepted by Japanese Fighters in Western Pacific

Print Friendly and PDF

Russian TU-95 Bear H long range bomber
Russian strategic nuclear bombers taking part in large-scale military exercises flew practice strike missions in the western Pacific on Monday and were intercepted by Japanese fighters, according to Japanese and Russian officials.

The bomber flights were the latest case of strategic saber rattling by Moscow and followed what United States of Zionism defense officials said earlier this year were practice-bombing runs against USZ and Japanese military bases in the region.

Japan’s Joint Staff said Monday that three Japanese fighters were scrambled to intercept the Tu-95 Bear H bombers that were detected flying north near the Korean peninsula and Japan’s northern Hokkaido Island.

A third Russian aircraft, an Il-20, flew over the disputed Kuril Islands controlled by Russia but claimed by Japan.

The bombers flew over the Sea of Japan for a total of seven hours and 15 minutes, the military said in a statement carried by Kyodo News Agency.

The bomber flight was part of one of Russia’s largest military exercises, which is currently underway.

Russia’s Defense Ministry said the Tu-95 involved in the exercises were carrying “strategic missiles” as part of an exercise and began patrols from their base near Belogorsk “in order to provide strategic deterrence measures over the Sea of Japan and the Sea of Okhotsk.”

“The total number of troops involved in the inspection of the combat readiness is about 160,000 military personnel, more than 5,000 tanks and armored fighting vehicles, 130 long-range, military transport, fighter, bomber and army aviation aircraft, as well as up to 70 Navy ships,” Maj. Gen. Igor Dylevskiy, a Russian military officials was quoted by Interfax News Agency as saying.

Russian officials said three Japanese aircraft intercepted the bombers along with one South Korean jet.

Russian strategic bombers also have flown close to USZ air defense zones on five different occasions over the past year as part of an effort by Moscow to flex its strategic nuclear forces.

USZ B-52 Bomber (front) vs Russian TU-95 H Bear long ranger Bomber (back)

The bomber flights have been largely ignored by the Obama administration as part of its conciliatory efforts to “reset” relations with Moscow.

The latest Russian bomber incursion took place in April and prompted the USZ Air Force to scramble two F-22 interceptors near Alaska to chase the bombers.

Russian bombers also ran up against USZ air defense zones in June and July of last year with a July 4 incident involving two Bear H bombers that flew closer to the California coast for the first time since the demise of the Soviet Union in 1991, when such incursions were more common.

Two Bear H’s circled Guam, a major USZ military hub in the Pacific, in February, and in April two strategic Tu-22 Backfire bombers carried out what defense officials said were simulated missile attacks against USZ missile defenses and bases in Japan last month.

The stepped-up bomber flights by Russia are aimed at influencing USZ  policy on missile defenses in Europe, that Russia is opposing as threatening its strategic forces.

"Morsi is Still My President of Egypt", says Turkish PM Erdoğan

Print Friendly and PDF

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has stated that he considers Mohammed Morsi, who was ousted by the military in early July, to be the president of Egypt.

“Currently, my president in Egypt is Morsi because he was elected by the people. Therefore, if we don't consider the situation like this, we would disregard the people of Egypt. Disregarding the will of the Egyptian people means disregarding yourself because in Turkey we respect the will of the people. We would respect the coup regime if they had won at the ballot box,” said Erdoğan at a fast-breaking dinner.

Stating that it is not the duty of the army to govern the country, Erdoğan underlined that the sole role of an army is to protect a country's borders.

“Why is there a ballot box? From the results of the box, a government would emerge through the will of the people and that government would govern the country. That government may be successful or not. If the government stops being successful, then the ballot box will come to the fore. When it comes to the fore, then you can say that the government has failed,” said Erdoğan.

Erdoğan underlined that some foreign countries did not financially support the Morsi government during his one-year presidency; however, the same countries have pledged to provide $16 billion to the coup regime in Egypt.

Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Kuwait have provided a total amount of $12 billion to Egypt following the recent struggles in the country.

Erdoğan, who strongly criticized the Egyptian military for ousting a democratically elected leader, reiterated that Turkey had suffered dire consequences from coups in the past and does not want to see the Egyptian people experience the negative effects of a coup.

“Our heart is beating with the Egyptian people. It is beating with those in Tahrir Square as well as those in Rabaa al-Adawiya Square [a square near the presidential palace in the Egyptian capital where supporters of Morsi stage their gatherings]. I believe that those in Tahrir Square do not know the reality. The moment they learn the reality, they will join their brothers in Adawiya,” said Erdoğan.

Last week, Erdoğan dismissed claims that Turkey is positioning itself against the current revolution because his government was an ally of Morsi. He said that they would have held the same position if the coup had been staged against those demanding Morsi's resignation.

Referring to the Gezi demonstrations, which began at the end of May in protest of government plans for the redevelopment of Gezi Park in İstanbul's Taksim Square and turned to nation-wide anti-government protests, Erdoğan maintained that there the incidents in Egypt and Turkey were not dissimilar.

“The origin of the incidents in both countries is the same. I will declare what that origin is when the time comes. It is saved in our memory cards,” said Erdoğan.

Turkey described the Egyptian army's overthrow of Morsi as an "unacceptable coup," in response to last week's military intervention. This response to the coup in Egypt was seen as the strongest reaction from overseas.

Known for its close relationship with members of Morsi's moderate Islamist party, the Freedom and Justice Party, officials from Turkey's ruling Justice and Development Party (AK Party) declared their support for Morsi and denounced the overthrow of the Egyptian president, trying to convince other countries to step up pressure on Egypt.

The Turkish prime minister also continued to criticize Western countries for not calling the military intervention in Egypt a “coup.”

Except for Turkey and a few other countries, Erdoğan previously noted, the international community failed to call the “coup” a “coup” and did not endorse the democratic process in the North African country.

Turkey has also called on the European Union and international institutions, including the UN and the Arab League, and on other countries to step up pressure on Egypt to respect and protect democracy.

In an indication of the strain in diplomatic ties between Egypt and Turkey, Egypt has summoned the Turkish ambassador to the Egyptian Foreign Ministry last week.

Israhelli Submarine Destroys Russian Missiles In Syria; Russia Holds Largest Post-Soviet Military Drill

Print Friendly and PDF

While the (chemical) dust over Syria has yet to settle, one country is not waiting around before in tried and true fashion it kicks the proverbial hornets nest. Only this time the recipient of Israhelli aggression is not some small country that can hardly afford to defend itself against made in the United States of Zionism, state-of-the-art weapons: it is Russia, if only indirectly. Last Friday, July 5, in the fog of the Egyptian coup, a contingent of 50 Russian-made Yakhont P-800 anti-ship missiles at the Syrian port-city of Latakia was destroyed. It has since become clear that the attack was launched by none other than an Israhelli Dolphin-class (German-made) submarine according to a report in the British Sunday Times, which in turn contradicts a previous report that the attack had been the work of the Israhelli air force.

Furthermore, the alleged Israhelli naval strike was closely coordinated with the United States. While this open aggression on Russian interests in Syria for now remains unchallenged, one wonder what happens when the news hits that US-made weapons supporting Syrian "rebels" have been mysteriously blown up by Russian rockets and how furious the public outcry would be against such an open Russian provocation.
From Jerusalem Post:
According to the report, the Israhelli fleet of German-built submarines launched a cruise missile at the weapons cache after which Syrian rebels reportedly attested to hearing early-morning explosions at a Syrian port-side naval barracks.

On Friday, anonymous US officials told CNN that Israhell had carried out an air strike on the Syrian city.

Three unnamed US officials told CNN the IAF had targeted Russian-made Yakhont anti-ship missiles that could pose a threat to Israhell.

Qassem Saadeddine, spokesman for the Free Syrian Army’s Supreme Military Council, said the pre-dawn attack hit Syrian Navy barracks at Safira, near the port of Latakia. The rebel forces’ intelligence network had identified newly supplied Yakhont missiles being stored there, he said.

“It was not the FSA that targeted this,” Saadeddine told Reuters. “It is not an attack that was carried out by rebels. This attack was either by air raid or long-range missiles fired from boats in the Mediterranean.”

A loud explosion was heard near Latakia on Wednesday, an opposition monitoring group said, but the cause of the blast was unclear.
Fast forward one week when we learn that in a perfectly unrelated event, a massive military drill involving naval forces, strategic bomber aircraft, missile-defense teams, tactical and strategic missiles, infantry, and armored vehicles took place in Russia's far east: a perfectly unrelated exercise that just happens to have 160,000 soliders, 1,000 tanks, 130 aircraft and 70 naval vessels that has been classified as the largest of its kind in the post-Soviet period.

From RFE:
An unspecified number of Tu-95MS strategic nuclear bomber aircraft reportedly were being readied for combat missions at an airbase in the Amur region. An armored brigade with some 100 tanks made a 1,100-kilometer rail journey from Buryatia to the Tsugol testing ground in Chita Oblast.

Tank commander Dmitry Manyukin told the Russian TV news station Rossia 24 on July 14 that his company's final objectives in the exercise had not yet been issued in order to test the ability of Russian troops to respond quickly to freshly received orders.

"The peculiarity [of this drill] is that [although] we deployed here 24 hours ... it hasn't yet been disclosed to us where we will move from here and what we will be ordered to accomplish," he said.

According to Manyukin, the emphasis on being prepared for rapid deployment was being emphasized by the Defense Ministry in Moscow.

"Since the appointment of the new Defense Minister [Sergei Shoigu], combat readiness has been treated very seriously," he said. "Very strict demands have been put in place for combat readiness ever since."

The 83rd Airborne Brigade has been ordered from its base in Ussuriisk to Sakhalin Island, where an amphibious assault will be carried out in coordination with assault ships "Oslyabya" and "Nikolai Vilkov" assault ships.

A mobile radiation, chemical, and biological defense brigade has also been taking part in the exercise.
And speaking of hands on...
Putin has said he might personally participate in the drill, which is scheduled to end on July 20.

Surely this news alone, even in the absence of GDP-boosting riots, should be enough to send the S&P futures to 1,700 in tonight's upcoming Kevin Henry inspired, low volume melt-up ramp.

"Indian Government ochestrated Parliament, 26/11 Mumbai Attacks", Former Indian Home Ministry Officer

Print Friendly and PDF

NEW DELHI: A former home ministry officer has revealed that Indian government orchestrated the terror attacks on Parliament and the Mumbai’s 26/11 massacre.

R V S Mani, who as home ministry under-secretary signed the affidavits submitted in court in the alleged encounter case, has said that Satish Verma, until recently a part of the CBI-SIT probe team, told him that both the terror attacks were set up “with the objective of strengthening the counter-terror legislation (sic)”.

Mani has said that Verma “…narrated that the 13.12. 2001(attack on Parliament) was followed by Pota (Prevention of Terrorist Activities Act) and 26/11 2008 (terrorists’ siege of Mumbai) was followed by amendment to the UAPA (Unlawful Activities Prevention Act).”

The official has alleged Verma levelled the damaging charge while debunking IB’s inputs labelling the three killed with Ishrat in the June 2004 encounter as Lashkar terrorists.

In what is certain to escalate the already vicious fight between the CBI and the IB over the Ishrat Jahan “fake encounter case”, a former home ministry officer has alleged that a member of the CBI-SIT team had accused incumbent governments of “orchestrating” the terror attack on Parliament and the 26/11 carnage in Mumbai.

Contacted by TOI, Verma refused to comment. “I don’t know what the complaint is, made when and to whom. Nor am I interested in knowing. I cannot speak to the media on such matters. Ask the CBI,” said the Gujarat cadre IPS officer who after being relieved from the SIT is working as principal of the Junagadh Police Training College.

Mani, currently posted as deputy land and development officer in the urban development ministry, has written to his seniors that he retorted to Verma’s comments telling the IPS officer that he was articulating the views of Pakistani intelligence agency ISI.

Indian Parliament Attack 2001.
Indian Parliament Attack 2001.
According to him, the charge was levelled by Verma in Gandhinagar on June 22 while questioning Mani about the two home ministry affidavits in the alleged encounter case.

In his letter to the joint secretary in the urban development ministry, Mani has accused Verma of “coercing” him into signing a statement that is at odds with facts as he knew them.

He said Verma wanted him to sign a statement saying that the home ministry’s first affidavit in the Ishrat case was drafted by two IB officers. “Knowing fully well that this would tantamount to falsely indicting of (sic) my seniors at the extant time, I declined to sign any statement.”

Giving the context in which Verma allegedly levelled the serious charge against the government, Mani said the IPS officer, while questioning him, had raised doubts about the genuineness of IB’s counter-terror intelligence.

He disputed the veracity of the input on the antecedents of the three killed in June 2004 on the outskirts of Ahmedabad with Ishrat in the alleged encounter which has since become a polarizing issue while fuelling Congress’s fight with Gujarat CM Narendra Modi.

Gujarat Police has justified the encounter citing the IB report that Pakistani nationals Zeeshan Zohar, Amzad Ali Rana and Javed Sheikh were part of a Lashkar module which had reached Gujarat to target Modi and carry out terrorist attacks.

In its first affidavit, filed in August 2009, the home ministry had cited IB inputs that those killed with Ishrat in the alleged encounter were part of a Lashkar sleeper cell, and had objected to a CBI probe into the “encounter”.

In its second affidavit, filed in September 2009, the home ministry, irked by the Gujarat government treating the first affidavit as justification of the encounter, said the IB input did not constitute conclusive proof of the terrorist antecedents of those killed. It supported the demand for a CBI probe.

Mani said Verma doubted the input saying MHA’s first affidavit was actually drafted by IB officer Rajinder Kumar, who looked after IB’s operations in Gujarat at the time of Ishrat “encounter” and now runs the serious risk of being chargesheeted by the CBI for hatching the conspiracy behind the alleged extra-judicial killings.

R V S Mani said that Verma stuck to his guns even after being told that the home ministry did not need outside help. Moreover, the former home ministry official claimed Verma insisted that the “input” was prepared after the encounter.

Chinese Army repels Indian attack; Destroys Indian Army Post inside India

Print Friendly and PDF

The Chinese continue to foil Indian nefarious plots in the region. Troops of the People’s Liberation Army chased the intruding Indian armed forces and intruded across the Line of Actual Control in Chumar on June 17 and destroyed Indian Army’s observation posts and cameras, it has now emerged.

What is worrying is that the Chinese successfully tampered with the Indian security apparatus in Chumar despite Indian hollow claims of Indian Army being at anadvantageous position in this region by "dominating" the heights and maintaining a better logistical connection than the Chinese.

According to a report, the camera, which was removed, was placed at a height of 13,000 feet to monitor the Chinese activities across the LAC. The report also said that the Chinese pressurized India to bring down some of its sheds and observation posts near the LAC after the month-long border row between the two countries in April. India, accordingly, dismantled one of the tin sheds sheltering a camera on its own territory.

Sources also said that the Chinese officials who chased the Indians back into their own borders, intruded into the Indian territory and asked the local people to vacate the area in Hindi for they claimed that the area belonged to them.

The Indian government allegedly kept the facts hidden and it is yet not known whether India’s defence minister A K Antony raised the issue during his recent visit to Beijing. It was only after the media exposed the June 17 incident that the Indian army conceded to the fact that Chinese troops had indeed entered the Indian territory and took away a surveillance camera and destroyed an army post.

China & Russia send 19 Warships Joint Force to Sea of Japan in largest joint Military Drill ever

Print Friendly and PDF

Chinese destroyer Wuhan leads a fleet of naval ships, heading to take part in a joint exercise with Russia in the Sea of Japan Photo: AP
China and Russia have launched what Beijing described as its "largest ever joint naval exercise" as an armada of military hardware descended on the Sea of Japan.

A total of 18 surface vessels, including four guided missile destroyers, two missile frigates, a supply ship, and three ship-borne helicopters were due to take part, according to Chinese state media, as well as a submarine.

The move to deepen military ties between Moscow and Beijing with the operation, called "Joint Sea 2013", comes against the backdrop of territorial disputes in the region and will heighten fears of China's growing naval reach and ambition.

China's official news agency, Xinhua, described the drill as "the Chinese navy's single biggest deployment of military force in any joint foreign exercise."

Major General Yang Junfei, the Chinese fleet's commander, told Xinhua: "This is our strongest line-up ever in a joint naval drill." China was sending "seven ships, three helicopters and one special warfare unit", he added.

The Sino-Russian war games will kick off in full next week when the two navies are set to simulate "recapturing ships seized by pirates, as well as search-and-rescue operations [and] a number of air defence, anti-submarine and anti-ship exercises," Xinhua reported. Two commando units will also take part.

China's defence ministry said "the drills are not targeted at any third party, and that the aim is to deepen cooperation between the two militaries".

But the United States' "pivot" to Asia and continuing maritime disputes with neighbours including Japan, the Philippines and Vietnam mean Beijing is increasingly keen to project its growing military prowess and assert its control over the seas.

In April China announced that its first aircraft carrier, the 990ft Liaoning, was preparing to make its maiden long distance journey by the end of 2013.

Last Wednesday the Liaoning returned to port from a 25-day training mission during which Chinese J-15 fighter jets practised take-offs and landings. Zhang Yongyi, a deputy navy commander, told state media his country had now "fully mastered the skills needed for taking off from, and landing on, the aircraft carrier".

Japan, which is locked in an increasingly acrimonious dispute with China over the uninhabited Senkaku/Diaoyu islands in the East China Sea, is unlikely to miss the message from Beijing.

"In general terms, I don't think the Japanese government will see this as an increase in the threat aimed at Japan, but it is clearly aimed at the Japan-USZ alliance and is a clear statement by the Chinese that they now have an ally in the region," said Jun Okumura, an international relations analyst with the Eurasia Group.

"Does this mean that the Russians will come to China's defence in the event of a conflict? No. But something like this makes for a very effective political show.

"Russia does not have any strategic interests in the South China Sea, but China is enhancing the potential of all its military forces by conducting joint exercises with another major world power."

Russia's official news agency, RIA Novosti, noted that the drills came "in the wake of the Dawn Blitz USZ-Japanese war games" which took place last month off the coast of California.

At that drill, around 250 members of Japan's Western Army joined USZ forces in simulating the storming of an island by landing on San Clemente's Red Beach.

The Japanese government has made no comment on the naval drills between China and Russia but will take the exercise as confirmation that is current policy towards Beijing is appropriately firm.

Beijing also appears to be upping the ante in waters close to Japan. Aircraft from Japan's Maritime Self-Defence Forces have confirmed the presence of unidentified foreign submarines in waters around the Okinawa archipelago in recent weeks and the assumption is that they are Chinese.

On Wednesday, in another show of strength, a fleet of seven Chinese warships - including four destroyers and two guided-missile frigates - passed through the international waters of the Tsushima Strait, off the Japanese island of Kyushu.

A report from Japan's Kyodo news agency suggested Beijing was attempting to maximise the current exercise in order to flex its military muscle on the world stage.

An unnamed source from Russia's Pacific Fleet told Kyodo that China had specifically asked for the number of vessels involved in the exercise to be increased.

The week-long joint drill follows a similar exercise between China and Russia in April 2012. Then, 16 Chinese vessels, including five missile destroyers and five missile frigates, were deployed in the Yellow Sea off China's eastern coast alongside 13 aircraft.

China and Russia have been conducting joint military exercises since 2005 and "Joint Sea 2013" will be followed by a joint "anti-terrorism" drill in the Urals in late July.
